Awful choices, yes. But do you really think they'd choose someone like Otalvaro? That would be massively disappointing. Palvin is perfect for VS. But it's scary to think about girls like Catalina and Amy in VS who's next Kate Upton?

Thanks for the picture Safira. She went with a really safe choice, but wow is that face as gorgeous as EVER! I don't know how I feel about her posing in this manner. It's not horrible but it's so not like her, it throws me off a bit. I don't know how I like the dress on her body though, the slit and posing with the leg, throw it off a little. Not my favorite this time around, BUT STILL LOVELY.

One thing I believe to be true is that Candice should be at a higher status than where she is at now. Sure she's known to a lot of people who follow VS or fashion, but to suggest that if she had an official facebook page she would have more "likes" than Adriana, to me that's a silly statement. But Candice has been in the VS show for years, they've been pushing her pictures for years, and she just opened the 2011 show but didn't get as strong of a reaction. I think she had it in her to have done better. Overall though, after Adriana had this much exposure with VS, it was rare that people didn't know who she was. But with Candice, even with how much they push her with media marketing, a bunch of my male friends still aren't too familiar with the name Candice Swanepoel. I think a lot of it has to do with your personality pushing you over the edge or over the top. I do think Candice has the type of main stream sex appeal it takes for models to launch into big stardom in the US, but no matter what happens I feel like she never reaches that point. Even with all the exposure she gets from gossip websites and sites like Dailymail. I feel that VS keeps pushing her in hopes of her becoming a prominent or even dare I say-'historic' angel, but she never seems to get closer for some reason. In good news though, she is still rather young. A good amount of time ahead of her, but I feel that she's so reserved in terms of her personality and being an Angel. I feel it holds her back, that's just me...once again, don't attack. I don't dislike the girl at all.

No worries...but in the end, you are you, you don't represent everyone posting in the thread. I just don't feel that I have to take into consideration what Candice fans would think of my opinion if I wasn't bashing her. I didn't come in here ranting about her, nor did I say anything negative about her. Here's to the end of that though, cheers.

Yeah, they use to push Adriana hard around 2003... I'm not singling Candice out, I guess this is more about VS than it is about Candice. And I know it's a business, obviously Candice sells and the whole point is to sell Lingerie. It's just that for the last few years it's been all Candice everywhere. I do agree they have toned it down a bit though. And I do prefer seeing her over Lily, Erin, Lindsay (but not Doutzen, Lima, or Ale lol) Miranda I could not care less about. Even with that said though, I guess personally as a VS fan, I would still like to see it mixed up. Even with girls that I don't love. As far as a lot of Adriana..I think VS doesn't use all that much of her. They love her for the events, and I can see why she has so much personality, but as for pictures of her...they were hardly releasing any until a few months ago. As for Rosie, I think she's a total hit or miss, sometimes she's outstandingly beautiful but sometimes I don't care for her. For me, her best work and looks were all outside of VS. I hardly liked any of her VS stuff.

Ok thanks, the daily mail posted these today as if they were new and i thought they looked familiar around the time of her Vogue Spain cover in 2010 I know! Dailymail always posts inaccurate stuff. "Sizzling" new campaign of Adriana Lima for VS...ermmm no. This has been out. Thanks for sharing though, she looks lovely.

I'm not a fan of either 2Shhweet, but I just can't handle the fritos one. I think she looks better in this one than the megan fox island one though. I like the Cosmo cover, her hair and face look great, her eyebrows are always to die for.

I respect your opinion. In my opinion Adriana, doutzen, and alessandra are all better than Candice. But I know that VS has to look out for what's up and coming for VS and what will happen after the aforementioned girls leave, but to me looking at just one girl no matter if it's Adriana or Candice gets a little bit tiresome. That doesn't speak to their looks or imply they're flawed, I'm not even a fan of Erin, Lindsay, or Lais, but I just get tired of always only seeing Candice. On their flyers, their solo videos, most of the photos released are of Candice, etc. Again, I respect your opinion but I'm just making mine known. On another note, has she done any shows after ny fashion week? I was hoping to see lots of her in Milan and Paris.

I can't agree with you on the great acting, I just don't see anything but Serena, and even as Serena I don't think she's fantastic... but hopefully with "Savages" coming out, she proves me wrong. I did not like her in The Town or Green Lantern. Her style is a hit or miss, never in between. I believe that she has a great personality though, and understand why she has so many fans. It's always lovely to see how much all the designers love her and instantly fall in love with her, she seems like a peach.

It's difficult lol. Ah I don't know about her lately...the things she has had to resort to promoting. but yeah it's pretty bad, she looks lovely in parts of it though.

Jesus. Why do candice fans feel like other people can't have differing opinions? I like Candice. I like looking at pictures of her and I think she's fine as a VS model. How does me stating that I feel a company pushes her too much or over exposes her mean that I'm saying anything negative about her? If they did the same exact thing with Adriana, I would say the same. It's a message board. I'm allowed to have an opinion and associate it with the model or company I have the opinion about. Nobody was complaining.

Most of the girls you've selected have the dark hair light eyes thing going... I agree on Palvin, I think she's more than suited to be an Angel. But the rest o fthem, no way, (IMO anyway). And catalina otalvaro? she is the poor man's version of Adriana. Pretty enough, but most of her modeling looks like it belongs on trashy calendars.
