It's not even just the fact that it's Paris Hilton...I think the quality of photography has seriously declined, as well as the clothes <_< Even the ads with the other models don't look very good. Maybe I'm just expecting too much and over-comparing with the past..

I didn't even realize the gorgeous and amazing girl in the Ralph Lauren ads was her until just recently. She is gorgeous

I cried Even though I thought the show was annoyingly over-dramatic at some points, I still felt so strongly for her. I mean people say "oh what about the hundreds of thousands of other people who died and suffered? the media's focusing all on her" but she still went through so much. I felt bad for her when Diane Sawyer asked all those questions that made her cry, but I guess that's how you get people to watch. I hope Petra doesn't retire from modeling or public life- I feel like she has so much to give

My hair is medium-longish (mid back), straight, and black. Actually it's not perfectly straight- my mom has naturally wavy hair and I inherited like one annoying ripple. I used to straighten it all the time but now I don't really care. I've had it dyed and permed and I can't say I would do either one again. I would love to grow my hair to my butt, but it would be so unmanageable...even now I really don't take care of my hair I just tie it up all the time.

post pretty dresses! I'm leaning toward shorter dresses, and so far I like A.B.S. A.B.S. BCBG unfortunately I feel like other girls would have those dresses (especially that last one)... <_<

What I really like about your scans is that they are not blurry or too airbrushed. Many scanners over-filter and over-airbrush their scans so the subject looks sorta "cloudy" and plastic in the end. So...thanks! Does anyone else think that bikini is absolutely gorgeous?? I wish I were rich enough to get it.. feeling too lazy to work on this, so if you see any giant flaws...well don't tell me.

I believe he'll be 2 sometime this year, if he isn't already. She was 19 when she got pregnant (unplanned, duh).

Wow, Nine, now I know why your scans look good. I just scan the page and erase any dust, and that's about as much as I can do :lol: Lullaby, a good "insiders" tip that I found works really well (and I wish someone would have told me back when I first started scanning... <_< ) is to have a dark piece of construction paper or something and put it over the back of the page in the scanner. You'll find that the image(s) or text on the other side won't "bleed" through and it makes for a much nicer-looking scan.

Don't worry about such trival matters..the more the better!! seriously though, I do know what you mean, but I for one save many different scans of the same image, some have better coloring, others have better texture, whatever. It's impossible to say if one scan is "better" than another, so don't think about it and just post.
