Michael Ballack was saying how the constant lineup changes by the coach may have hurt Germany and I think i have to agree. In their last two games including the semi-final he shuffled the line-up and it may have hurt their flow, chemistry, and some of the players confidence. It wasn't a complete shock but i'd still call it an upset. I guess i'll just pull for spain to make history now and win a third straight title

um wow? Germany's going to need something special to comeback now, though it's not impossible. Gomez needs to be better, wouldn't be shocked to see Muller come on in the second half.

WOW! i mean i know the penalties are all luck but wow. I can't help but think if Ronaldo takes that first penalty do Portugal win. I had a bad feeling about him and penalties. He missed the penalty against Bayern, and he missed a penalty in the following league game. Not to mention as they just said on tv when he stepped up first against Chelsea in the Champions League final he missed. So maybe all of that was playing in his head but COME ON. he had to step up there. Second, considering Spain didn't truly show up until it was in extra time i'm keeping my money on Germany to win it all.

i think Spain have gotten away with missing their all-time goal scorer and top goal scorer in the last two major tournaments, that being David Villa. They've been able to compensate so far but i think against Portugal (Pepe and Bruno Alves have been two of the top center backs) and more so against Germany it may finally come to bite them. or i could be completely wrong

true, true. although now we have to wait till what, wednesday? <_< unacceptable. might as well start predictions i think a Portugal - Germany final isn't too much of a long shot. As long as they play like they have been and don't come out thinking "oh god it's spain let's defend the whole game and hope for our chance" i think they have a chance. Ronaldo is in a groove and has either played with or beaten almost everyone on the spanish team. BUT even if they do decide to sit back and wait for the counter-attack no doubt they have the speed to try it.

On one hand i feel for England because they were a few penalties away, but it definitely would have been stolen from the italians. As you guys have said, Italy deserved the win.

I don't get what she would be in other categories for. she is a full time model, getting full time work. it's not as if shes a tv personality or actress as well (I hardly count two tiny roles). and despite her boobs she's not a page six or glamour model soo that's just a confusing statement to me.

Yup, ESPN picks it up on their main channel. They've got Michael Ballack on for the Euros who is the only sensible analyst but hey, you can't have good commentary and good analyst. After Greece equalized, even after Khedira made it 2-1, the match should have been much closer. The Greek goalkeeper was a flop, he not only went behind the striker but his own man as well to try and punch the ball away?? what was he thinking and Ninis peeling off to allow Lahm to get off his shot with no pressure was another head-scratcher. As for Germany/Greece, I can't remember a game with so much current political undertone or maybe it's overtone because it's so obvious either way it's amusing.
