  1. Wow, all those Caro ads were new to me!
  2. Yes, agree. Ingrid sort of reminds me of Kathy Ireland that way. Ingrid is in 4 SI issues from 93-96 (though never the cover, and obviously Kathy had more success/popularity, and to compare, Valeria is in 2 SI issues, 96/cover & 97), but Ingrid never seemed to break in to editorial/fashion. Not like Valeria, all of Valeria's covers. Sort of like Kathy. Their careers, Ingrid and Kathy, seem sort of similar to me that way. Lesser, but similar. She's a good model. If you do like Ingrid and ever see the 1996 Softkey Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Calendar and Screen Saver CDROM (Rebecca Romijn cover, also with ~20 shots of Valeria), get it. It shows up on eBay occasionally. It's the source for a bunch of rare shots and videos, a couple with Rebecca Romijn. She's also in Glaviano's Sirens, but not that many shots.
  3. I think it's Marina Grigoreva. Try http://www.fashionbank.ru/photo/306394.html http://www.fashionbank.ru/models/user/41816.html
  4. The Italian travel mag Gente Viaggi got mentioned in Stephanie Seymour's thread. Here's an issue w/ cover with Elle from 1988: http://www.ebay.it/i...=item3f12b494e5
  5. Nice. Never seen it before. I believe that's Italian for People & Travel. It's on eBay if anyone is interested: http://www.ebay.it/i...=item19da26533f
  6. L-R, believe it's Fernanda Tavares, Julia Stegner, Patti Hansen, unknown, Elaine Irwin
  7. Recollection is that it's Lynn Kiker. Believe that particular issue is one of the "pick your cover" ones, and you can also find Mar 1996 with a completely different cover/model. We don't actually have that issue though, so not very confident.
  8. Short article, Cindy talking about marriage with R Gere: http://blog.sfgate.com/dailydish/2013/03/06/cindy-crawford-i-was-too-young-to-be-mrs-gere/
  9. If you have one of Carol's swimsuit calendars (think she did only two, 88 and 89), they appear to be worth quite a bit: http://www.ebay.com/...C-/271151525185 That's ~$200 with shipping! Yes it's a large lot with a lot of items, but my impression is that most of the stuff included in the lot is not that unusual or valuable. The Scavullo calendar is quite rare, and so are Carol's. Other than that, I don't see a lot of value.
  10. "The ‘Karlie’ Is Turning Heads" http://www.nytimes.c...the-moment.html
  11. I can't see any photos. You can try http://www.famamoca....a_Schiffer).php and see if we have a match for your search. If we do have it, it should come up with the photographer credit + the original source and date.
