Masi Oka Masayori "Masi" Oka (born December 27, 1974 in Tokyo, Japan) is a Golden-Globe-nominated Japanese-American actor and digital effects artist. He has performed in many films and TV shows, and is currently cast in the role of Hiro Nakamura in the NBC series Heroes. He has recently finished filming his new movie Balls of Fury, which is scheduled to be released in 2007. He was born in Tokyo, Japan and moved to Los Angeles, California, United States at the age of six. He currently resides in California. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and mathematics (with a minor in theater) from Brown University in 1997 and also worked at George Lucas's Industrial Light & Magic as a programmer working on many top-grossing Hollywood movies such as the Star Wars prequels and Pirates of the Caribbean series. Personal Life He is fluent in Japanese, English and German and is proficient in Spanish. His hobbies include kendo (Japanese fencing), playing video games, watching and writing romantic comedies, playing the piano, and singing. He attended elementary school at Mirman School and graduated high school from Harvard-Westlake School in 1992. He has stated in an interview on G4tv that he has played World of Warcraft extensively and ran a guild in the past on the Spinebreaker realm. In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, his cast members said he has an IQ of 180. In 1987 a young Masi Oka was featured on the cover of Time Magazine titled "Those Asian-American Whiz kids". Though he was not featured in the article itself, he knew the photographer who took the shot. According to TMZ.com "Masi worked for George Lucas's special effects company, Industrial Light & Magic, toiling on special effects for films like Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, War of the Worlds and the three Star Wars prequels. Oka says he still works for the company a couple of days a week." Gwen Stefani ready for baby #2 Gwen Stefani has said that she is ready for another baby - well, not quite ready; maybe in a few months. She and her husband Gavin Rossdale, already have son, Kingston, 8 months, and are hoping to add another to their brood. Gwen told Ellen Degeneres on her show on Friday, that it is "in the itinerary. I'm ready to go." However, Gwen does add that she believes that it is not up to her when she gets pregnant again, saying, It's not really up to me. I feel like it's this big miracle and it's all written out there, [but] hopefully not during the tour." Gwen announced her pregnancy with Kingston in December 2005, after people noticed her having to change her outfits and some routines. He was born May 2006. Gwen also added that they do have help, but just during the day, We have someone in the daytime that comes in, but at night's that's my job. It's really hard but it's actually fun.
