She sent photos of herself to a Dutch modeling agency after seeing a beautiful fashion editorial. Landed her first cover for Elle France in September 2004. Her first job with Victoria’s Secret was in the Hamptons with Alessandra in 2004. She walked her first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2005. She spent her first paycheck on a backpacking trip around Sri Lanka. There is a wax figurine of her in Amsterdam’s Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. She used to write a monthly column on being a model for the Dutch edition of Marie Claire. She became a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2008. She gave birth to her son Phyllon in January of this year.
