Yes, great news Calibi! Don Jon's Addiction finds several distributors Now that it’s finally official: Here are a few more details on the distribution deals for DJA. Relativity Media picked up the distribution rights for the US. According to Deadline it was one of the biggest deals coming out of Sundance, which can be explained by Relativity investing in a long term partnership with Joe. But more importantly they are planning a wide release this year, although there are conflicting reports whether it will be a summer release or not. Joe says this about the deal: “I always intended this to be a movie for a mass popular audience. Everyone told me it was a long shot. Now Relativity is making it happen. Tucker and Robbie told me they believe that, more than anything, audiences want something unique. I couldn’t agree with them more. I admire them for putting their money where their mouth is. And I couldn’t possibly be more grateful.” The film was also picked up by distributors for the UK and France, so you can look forward to seeing the movie in theaters too. Germany and Russia already have official release dates (September 19 for Russia and October 10 in Germany).
