About metin being a healer, I don't.... All I know is that he is a human being. Thats obvious. I am a religious person. I don't believe that humans on this earth weren't created equal, power wise. I believe all humans are BORN equal and metin doesn't have anymore power that he was innate with than Adriana. I believe there is a higher power than humans but they aren't a human himself, its a god. Personally. But metin is no god, none of that, Metin is a damn human liked the rest of us. He don't have any supernatural abilities nor power more than we do. I guess that explains his entitlement and constant need for people to glorify him. But let me tell you something, one things that humans tend to have is the placebo effect. The placebo effect is real and its in all of our brains. All people have to do is BELIEVE that something will work, and it will work. Its because of the brain's ability to trick the body. I learned this in medical anthropology (REAL social science). All people have to do is be told something , and believe it, and it can help them. Especially medically. Learned it in the video below, they talk to real doctors and surgeons and researchers. They pretended to give two crippled war vets surgery so that they can walk again. But they actually didn't perform any operation on them. Because of the power of him believing he got that surgery, he actually walked again. But he never got a surgery. Its all in this doc: Stuff like this happens all the time, and we know it. We always talk about the power of belief in life. Placebo is one of those things. Everybody says metin has a way of words. All metin has to do is persuade a person enough of his abilities, tell his story that could be a bit false, and the "healing" would work. When really, its the person believing in that healing, not the actual healing himself. This is why nobody should talk to him like he is a miracle or above so many, he isn't. All that "love" "healing".. all you need is positvity and belief. Another reason why Adriana should stop giving him so much power.

Exactly, nobody even caught on to it, but YOU. Why is he even on here?? I don't think any of adriana's partners went as far as going on here... Is he trying to see how much attention and praise he gained from Adriana from her fans? You gained attention but its not good buddy. And right, the waiting to delete it after he is caught liking the comment says so much. He is good with words? Well, actions ALWAYS speaks louder than words... and his actions aren't good. Also, about the pic, She always glows when not single to be honest. She was the same with Marko and the others. Its another indication that Adriana just does not like being single.

Oh no, thats not it. We say that because 1. He is manipulative and he has been changing her. 2. One of the ways he has changed her is the subject of clothes and taking them off. Adriana has spent too many years doing it. And Just this easter she defended doing model jobs like that after her last LOVE advt. Now all of a sudden, after preaching the word of that book to rita ora, she decides to go back on her ideas of feminism and taking off the clothes. It just don't make sense. And she used the excuse of girls feeling insecure when looking at her body, Adriana what about your FACE??? Thats always been more compelling and sought after than her body. If anything thats what she needs to hide lol, but please don't let her decide that . She shouldn't have to hide ANY part of her body for ANYBODY. She never had to, and she doesn't have to now.. and then he reposted that post, with a caption that was like a pat on the head. And he literally LIKED comments that said he was influencing her and brain washing comments didn't bother him, unless he was shamed for it. Metin literally told on himself about being behind it. So, no we aren't being racist, we know about his culture and we also know that he is purposely influencing her and trying to change her into thinking the way he does. He is shaped by his culture himself and since he is trying to influence Adriana, he is going to try to shape her the same way, he basically already has.

Exactly! Telling her "Oh Adriana, your eyes are the most beautiful and stunning, thats all you need to show" I was hoping that 2018 would be a better year for her career (she spent more time for her show and in VS this year ) but I don't even know now...

I have always felt that way about LOVE. But its only specific to THEM. In general I think Adriana should be able to take off her clothes as long as its tasteful and artistic, which she didn't even mind before and she still shouldn't.

Yeah, I don't think you joined here yet when I said this. But I told a user, That caption reminded me of when people try to summarize or paraphrase something someone else said, but it doesn't come out the best nor does it make as much sense, because it didn't come from them. It came from somebody else, and all they are trying to do is to put someone else's idea into their own words. Thats the perfect way to describe Adriana's caption that and Adriana never had a caption like that before

Ya'll know I am usually about "not caring" about this part of her life. I even felt bad for him at the start of them.But this dude is so manipulating and controlling, his relationship with her is literally affecting her career and spilling over into her career. As fans, we have rights to be concerned about that, thats half of the reasons we are fans. And I generally do care about her mental health and state of mind, and he is also affecting that. And as others said, he is literally making long time, loyal, dedicated and genuine fans raise their eyebrows at her.

As far as Adriana goes, I can't be sure of whether or not anything her fans said she took seriously. Because no matter how people feel on this forum and outside of it, Adriana always continues to be with the guy LOL. Its not until the final straw with her happens, and she lets the guy go. As I said before, I feel like Adriana has a stubborn streak. I feel like the only person who can tell her what to do would be her mom. I think she is one of those people who probably brush off her fans being worried because she is like "Well, they don't know him personally like I do. So they aren't right". But a red flag is a red flag. Metin's behavior is honestly shady and sometimes disgusting, her fans don't have to know him to SEE that its wrong he likes comments implying she wasn't as good before him and liking comments that approve of his brain washing. That he gives her a "pat" on the head for saying she won't take her clothes off for empty causes, but followed alot of models who took their clothes in every other post (he only approves of Adriana not doing it because Adriana is "his"). SMH. You don't have to know him, to see whats wrong with all of that. There is no telling what sparked it honestly, because Adri honestly she never listens to her fans much LOL, not when it comes to relationships. She is as stubborn as a mule about them, even when all her fans are just concerned, and sometimes they are right. Because they aren't the ones blinded by something As far as metin goes, I still think he was so over-reactive to the break up rumors because he simply didn't want people to think it. He didn't want people to think he lost "Adriana Lima", like I said he is seeing her as a trophy, esp since he is turkish and she is big there. This is just a "score" for him, and her actually being controlled and manipulated and changing because of him, is the icing on the cake for him. Because its always about him. Like I said, he is just looking out for himself. He wasn't threatening to sue when the turkish press were taking invasive pics of them on vacation. THATS something you sue over, not break up rumors. But he didn't threatened to sue over the intrusive pics because it SHOWS they are together. Which is what he likes. Its all about attention and showing off and glorification of himself

I think alot of people are concerned or atleast puzzled when she made that IG post, even the media, thats why they turned to metin saying they think he had something to do with it. Thats why they described her post as an incoherent rambling and stuff, it sounded troubling to them because... Adriana has been around for 18 years. Sure her fans don't know her PERSONALLY nor does the media, but we all have a good enough idea about her because of all the years spent. And alot of people can tell something is up and she isn't who she has always been. She isn't even who she was six months before, literally. There is a change and its not good and it happened in a short amount of time. You don't make big changes like that about yourself overnight and ironically in her post, she tries to claim that.But thats not realistic, to be that way over night. Literally not even her own mom can bring herself to like that post. I feel like even her own PR TEAM was blind-sided by that. It took them a day to get a statement out. Now imagine that, not only did she make a 180 turn on who she was overnight, by saying something thats related to her career, and it seems like even her own PR representatives and management weren't on board.... You announce something so major and foreign about your career, but even her agents didn't seem prepared (nor did they like/comment on that photo and they usually do like her mom). Adriana had just came from NY and everything after she said that, if she wanted to do that for herself I think she would have discussed it with her team first before just saying it on social media. Just more evidence that the post was impulsive and it really didn't come from her originally. Sorry but you actually don't just wake up like that. Thats time of brain washing and shit. Even metin pretty much admitted to do that when he liked comments about "influencing" her and he wouldn't originally delete comments that just said "influence" or "brainwashing", he would only delete comments that criticized him for it. As long as people didn't criticize him for it, he was ok being called that. Dude even went as far as liking comments that implied adriana wasn't good before. That is terrible! And thats just not good nor fair to her, he shouldn't think nor should he have her think she wasn't good before he came into her life and before she read that book.

On Christmas yes but the days leading to christmas she was with more than just her mom. Her aunts spent days with her during the show, before, and after, it looks they stayed in china for days. Adrielle probably went back to brazil because she'd been gone for a long time. Its gonna always be Adriana and her mom no matter what though

Her mom was because she said she would be. but I also meant like right before christmas when she was wrapping presents and stuff, adrielle was also there during that time

Majority of her immediate family was literally with her at the show this year. So yeah she is def still close to them. They were with her for Christmas and thanksgiving as well. It was actually after she got divorced we saw her with family alot. I do agree though that, she should be more careful about her career at ALL costs because everybody needs one to take care of their family, she shouldn't limit herself just because of a man she knew for 6 months.

I remember when Adriana said that, sometimes she asked her mom still about things and for advice, I think she should do that again with all of this. IDC what metin is supposed to be, her real and close family is gonna have the better interest for her heart.

Her mom liked these photos today And I noticed her mom has been liking alot of her stuff lately, on both of her accounts. She hasn't been missing any posts since the show, but that IG post about no longer taking off her clothes, her mom didn't like it. She did all of Adriana's posts after that though, but not that one and she still likes adriana's old work clearly. Thats kind of telling if you ask me, I could also be reaching, but its very ironic.

I can see that, because he came shortly after the "marrying myself" thing. He probably knows about her past relationships or whatever, heard about that and said "Hey, lovely to meet you. Here's this book. It would be good for somebody like you, blah, blah". Because we didn't see Adriana with that book until after they met right? one thing is for certain, she didn’t start being the way she is now, until she actually met him. She could hace been reading his book and still loved who she was and her career..Adriana does alot of reading, and everybody knows it. Also, its obvious that Adriana has told others about the book and talked about it before. That kinda is cult like behavior. Thats what she was doing with Rita Ora, and Rita talked about it.. then shortly after is when that Controversial IG post about taking her clothes off was made, where Adriana made little sense and IDC what anybody says, Adriana's English and grammar isn't the BEST but its always coherent when it comes from her HER heart. Its decent enough to understand when it comes from just her, not ideals implanted in her head. This one time, not only did Adriana say something that was the opposite of her belief for years but it was the first time she ever wrote a paragraph or caption in general, on IG that didn't even make sense. And she has written a few lengthy captions. This is the first time it wasn't coherent and it was unclear. The media called it "rambling", that's the first time they ever called something she wrote THAT. Thats because she was trying to say his kind of ideas and principals, but it wasn't really her own. jeez, Adriana don’t let him make anymore of a fool out of you

I did anyway smh lol. Because I can't tell who is the worst between joe and metin. I am starting to think things get the worst when Adriana dates..down in terms of status.Money obviously isn't an issue for her. But someone being a regular person and "not being a celebrity" like metin phrased it *rolls eyes* dating a real celeb and one who is a beautiful supermodel? With that comes insecurities and all kinds of shit because the levels are too off which can impact how a person acts in the relationship. Thats why they will abuse or manipulate the person who has a status like Adriana and why they would be like metin, constantly looking at his comments on social media and only liking things that make him look good, even if they are implying bad things about adriana Dating professional athletes isn't the best neither and you have to be willing to accept all the BS that comes with it, but them being celebrities themselves or having a life similar to adriana, they are less likely to be the way joe is unless they have mental issues (like chris brown) or are stupid. They aren't likely because they have their own brand to protect and should be more secure. They break up with adriana? They aren't going to make new accounts to troll her on fan pages and her page like joe. They aren't going to try to manipulate and change her into somebody else, like metin, because they accept that she is a model and what comes with it, and them having their own money and being known, they aren't going to be insecure because with their money and status, they are much more likely to find somebody else also of high status again. A regular person would be insecure and scared they won't ever have another adriana again, but thats not good because insecurity like that ruins people, especially men, it makes them abusive, makes them controlling. IMO dating somebody who is more regular, not a celeb, I think they are more likely to hurt adri because of the issues they would have within themselves and they will take it out on her. Or try to change her to accommodate themselves, make themselves feel better but not doing her any favors, just themselves. Like I said, athletes and celebs they are capable of being abusive and bad too clearly, but atleast there will be a huge price they would rather not take for it. Its not as easy as just flying out the state to a new state and starting over like joe. Or flying back to Turkey like metin could. Because If Metin isn't being an attention seeker, then he is clearly showing signs of insecurity and seeks too much validation for getting someone like Adriana. I don't think she should get herself another athelete but someone on her level and status, who wouldn't want to change or manipulate her and whose insecurities wouldn't negatively affect her.

Smh, I said I didn't want to talk about it anymore but here I am: I don't know if metin is THE worst because Joe. I still feel tricked by his ass lol. I only saw what everybody else seen in him literally at the end. Even then I was shocked to see how this all unfolded. To this day he still proves to be a nutcase himself when it comes to her. *shudders*. After that, I don't even understand how adriana could still manage to be dating at the moment. He ended up being abusive and adriana may not know but there is no doubt in my mind, that the troll account was made by Joe or someone who knew him, and they said something bad about her kids once just last month. I think he ended up being around them because they started as friends via the gym, and Adriana kids were going with her alot. So she probably thought, she may as well let them be around after they were official. But look what happened. He wasn't only that ex that talked shit about her but her kids too. Not sure if Adriana knew about that troll account but thats what happens sadly when you break up with somebody and they were around your children. And sadly, I do think metin is a second for the worst, because with all this manipulation and Adriana being upset at him when they are apart, but when he comes back around its a different story. Thats toxic, and I am willing to be wrong but it could come in the form of emotional abuse with them. ESPECIALLY with him liking comments that say Adriana needed him so that she could change and be this and that. He was literally agreeing to and probably telling Adriana she needs to be another way and change herself. Since he makes money off of doing this, I am sure thats what he does to Adriana. And that is emotional abuse, thinking that someone wasn't good enough before and they only are after listening to you and doing what you wanted them to do. And his role is so evident because Adriana changed too much. She went from being one end of the spectrum about herself and her career to another end. Literally a 180. Thats even new for her long time fans. I get its his job to not "heal" but CHANGE people (thats what he really does). But you shouldn't be like that with your girlfriend. You should be more objective and still have more respect for who they already are and what they do. I think what makes metin so bad in everyone eyes and why none of her fans like him, is because this shit is spilling into Adriana's work and stuff, its spilling into what made her fans, her fans first (her work and attitude about things). Despite all the other relationships with other shady men, Adriana's career, work and all that wasn't this affected by it. Actually I feel her divorce with Marko enhanced her career, after they seperated, she only wanted to focus more on her career and all that she said. And thats what she did. Now, I can only hope Adriana is still about that. I am not sure with Metin around she will be, because dude makes a living manipulating people. He sure as hell will do it to somebody who is his girlfriend,esp a vulnerable one, and he has literally proved thats what he wants to do...just like alot of men from his area. All of this is in his nature. This why people are scared for her not only as a model but human being. I am not confident on this, but I hope you all are right about the reason why she hasn't followed him back yet. That he has to prove himself or something. That means that she is a little awake, Adriana needs to stay woke or he will catch her sleeping lol. Seriously though she needs to remain skeptical of him and to NOT give him all that power and praise that she did before.

You should because that's something serious and extremely relative. How you choose to deal with an emotion just not gonna be how everybody else will. What makes people emotional isn't even something that's general. Emotions are things that are very relative to the person. So its not something you can get upset about or feel strongly against because of how somebody deals with them, atleast not this context. Because there can get to a point where people deal with emotions in horrible ways, and its just not excusable. But thats not the case here. I said myself just because other celebs or people in general do the same thing (or worse, because I have seen other models, very close to her age, harass people they know via comments because of how upset they are about something that happened between them) doesn't make it good nor ok, but I also said, we shouldn't act or speak like its foreign to someone just because of her age, that was the point of me mentioning that.But the main thing is I think when it comes to emotional and psychological stuff our mind should be a little more open. Because thats something more beneath the surface. You know a person is hurt/upset, but you don't even know why, you just know they are and you have an idea about whom, you can't just be like "Oh she is hurting but she is hurting the wrong way", not because of follow or something. Now if Adriana was one of those people who harass on social media, or even in real life, then I would agree. Because then it is wrong because thats basically abuse. But I think being bothered by the following and unfollowing is just as petty as her doing it, because its just a follow We have already stated her history and past with the others after marko and I really would rather not going there. Some of those relationships ended up being horrible and literally traumatizing for her, and understandably so, one of those guys still stalk her on social media we discovered. Its exhausting enough talking about metin now.

I will just say that she ended up with 64 million total in likes this year. Photos like this had the most likes, AKA photos and material that she and her pr refuse to post enough:

Yeah, thats not being obsessed with IG, thats like s coping mechanism for her or something she just uses to get out frustrations with her boyfriend. Which honestly alot of people do, including grown up celebrities. Its something people do now in days. Not saying its good because usually thats the reason why people hate social media, it brings you to a side of celebs that you clearly had no other way of knowing existed, you didn't know how they get when they are upset with their partner.The quotes they post and like, all that.. And honestly, who are we to judge how they deal with it, or anything that deals with heartache. Its not our life, its not our emotions and its nor our body, to tell someone how to react to their annoying (and seemingly toxic) boyfriend.Yes, it does mess up the image you have for them but that is simply the way some people are regardless of their age, because I see it ALL the time with grown celebrities.I am not gonna act like its the first time I seen it, with just adriana. Its not accurate to call it an obsession with IG imo, its deeper than that, that's basically a psychological thing. And not everybody has the same psychology. She doesn't. Thats exactly why you don't get many posts from her. If somebody was obsessed with IG, you're gonna get more posts from them. And when you do get posts from Adriana, you don't usually get good ones. And she knows they aren't good, and she still doesn't care. She has posted super blurry pics, comment that its blurry but she was gonna keep the picture on there... Someone who cares about ig and social media much wouldn't be that way and they would use it alot.. Adriana does not, and certainly didn't in the past. Go look at the last time she tweeted herself on twitter. She will go a week without posting anything at all on IG. Thats not somebody who cares about IG much. Thats why her certain fans brushed off the unfollowing stuff while everybody panicked,that is not serious for her. She isn't even one of those models who unfollows when someone doesn't follow them back/unfollows them. This situation shit with metin vs adriana actually caring alot about social media/ig are two different subjects and different things. Adriana is one of the models who are literally on there the L E A S T and we all should know it because we spent too many years complaining about it. Even that account only has like five posts. And if she made it probably was for a privacy thing. Alot of celebs have created double private accounts for social media, Beyonce and Tyra Banks has done it too. Doing that doesn't make someone obsessed, thats somebody who doesn't want to show certain things to millions of strangers. She will posts quotes based on emotions yes but she posts for fun too. Its just something she always done
