I think I am the only one who doesn't want to see Adriana with another lingerie brand lol. Only because of the principle, I mean she spent all these years with VS doing it. It would be cool to see that she'd only model lingerie for them. But, I won't be upset if she ended up with another lingerie deal, I just think it would be cool if she stuck with one brand. I mean, she already worked with intimissi before anyway. But YES to the swim wear, I hope she gets another contract for that

Lol I am just saying the next angel to leave, I doubt urban sites and blogs will post about it. I agree that it won't translate into viewership. I was not shocked by that personally. but I do think her leaving did make huge news. Because she trended both the day of the show and on the show. And people like the rock talked about her retirement. I don't think an angel leaving VS could have been made a bigger deal out of. Its actually shocking how much attention Adriana's retirement got. I don't think it was normal for something like a lingerie company lol

Um thanks to Adriana leaving, urban sites like world star hip hop and the shaderoom posted about the show and her leaving. The shaderoom did the day of the show and last night. They commented on the black models, and then Adriana. Adriana's leaving was a huge deal because it transcended beyond fashion and regular news outlets, it even caught urban news attention While I always thought VS was a sinking ship, I do think part of the reason yesterday was so lackluster is because it was a sunday night. there is alot of competition but the fact that they couldn't even keep their CBS does point to trouble still.

Or yahoo, because people on TWITTER were talking about her trending on YAHOO lol. Yes she did trend on them both, because people thought she passed do to her trending.

Ok, now I can give my thoughts on the show and Adriana's legacy in it. I didn't bother giving my thoughts on the rest of the show as a whole because I stopped caring for the REST of VS a long time ago. It is literally a relief that Adriana is gone because the brand just isn't headed anywhere good. The rating were even lower this year. Adriana has left at the perfect time, people are so incredibly anxious to call someone else the "new queen" of VS since Adriana is gone, and its not even any good because the show honestly does not seem like it will be around for much longer after this. But ANYWAYS, on to the positive. I give Adriana's tribute and last show a 10/10. She did not get alessandra'd LOL which is a relief and a good thing and just speaks on how much Adriana deserved her VS career. As well as how much VS really did love Adriana. Not only did she get a montage, her own walking segment, and officially called the "GOAT" but they actually gave her a great amount of airtime this year. Honestly, Adriana hasn't been featured this much in their show since like 2014. They kept showing her and talking about her, even in their intro they talked about VS the way she would have and they mentioned her as well. She closed the show for the THIRD time which is amazing. Nobody ever closed this show that many times. Adriana has had a one of a kind VS career, it can't be topped. And I applaud VS for that, they made the decisions to give Adriana so much because they knew she deserved it. I will miss them together. I won't miss VS anymore lol but I will miss Adriana and VS as a team! Now, for Adriana herself I am just so proud of her. Everybody is. Despite me growing tired of VS and their stupid decisions all these years, I always respected Adriana's decision to keep sticking with VS. I can't say why at the time I did, all I do know is I wasn't one of those people who thought Adriana was making a mistake by staying there for so long. I used to laugh at the people saying Adriana should just "leave on top" and stop waiting until she isn't on top to leave and all that mess. Now, I laugh even harder because 1. Adriana STILL left on top lol. Everybody knows she is the real deal for this brand. People love for her never went away. They loved her this year as much as they did back in 2003. 2. I saw alot of people on social media being shocked that Adriana decided to leave because she still looked really good to them. Even in the main thread somebody felt she was in the best shape than she had been for a while. Everybody still felt like, she could have given it more years. So its funny people thought that by the time Adriana left, she would have left when nobody cared about her anymore and she wouldn't look good anymore. Which is not the case. People still did not want to see her go. I say this to applaud Adriana for being so determined to continue to stick with the brand for so long, because it allowed for her to set a mark that nobody else will probably touch. Like @Corner said, she had the best VS career and it will probably not be beaten. And its because no matter of her getting older and what people said, and no matter how VS was changing she still decided to stay and it allowed her to become very accomplished in the brand. Adriana should feel very proud with herself!

Don't want to put out my thoughts on everything yet, I will just say this for now, Adriana as a VS angel: Seriously even people in the main thread want the black lingerie Adriana wore when she closed the show as well as people on social media. She still sells for VS lol

Candice doesn't even seem to be watching the show LOL. They must have told her ahead of time that she wasn't going to get any airtime (We haven't seen her since she opened) and she said fuck it lol.

Its crazy because the editing and everything is better this year. Its edited like it used to be I did not expect to see Adriana for the empire state segment, VS actually gave her decent air time this year! Also that was wholesome of VS to keep the walk that she cried in, she didn't cry her second walk and I was expecting them to use that. Thats good they kept it in

Hm, I think its a more low profile one. But Adriana seemed to be HAPPY watching the show at home. Also, Alessandra did as well. I think angels that leave don't go to those things. I want to say that woman empowerment intro sounded very Adriana inspired lol.

But it didn't look BAD lol. The versions we saw it look bad and boring. It was still more boring but her walked looked better

Yeah... There is ALWAYS a VSFS after party. But there was never always a VS viewing Party... Taylor said she was having a lazy sunday lol Also, guys the show hasn't even happened yet and Adriana has already gotten 12.2 million followers I am pretty sure she wrote that passage caption herself ❤️ , at first it only promoted the show and stopped after the emoji at first. Then the passage was added a few minutes later. Yeah, I think leaving VS is a process for her. I just hope that 1. Her tribute goes as expected (no cutting things out like they did alessandra). 2. Even though she is probably very sad to close the chapter, she is going to get SO much love tonight. If I was her, i'd be searching her name on twitter because she is going to really see how much she meant to people for the brand after this show airs. Tears are forming just reading what she had to say

I knew not to expect it because 1. Adriana is taking her retirement differently, people called it depressing when she retired so I think thats probably she feels herself as well. 2. Alessandra didn't even go, she wouldn't miss out on that PR lol. Alessandra watched it from home as well. But are we actually sure they are having a viewing party?? Because it seems VS hasn't been able to afford alot. Like they didn't even do their yearly ALL model photocall before the show. Only Adriana got a photocall, by herself lol at the empire state building.

I am speculating it because she looked very sad at the show through out the whole time. As I said before the way she looked the way she did when she got a divorce

I agree, especially since its clear Adriana took this retirement hard. I think thats why she didn't want to talk about it. I do think its hard for her, its for everybody even Ed was crying. So ofcourse for Adriana it is hard. But, I hope she does mention her goodbye show because they let her leave being called the greatest angel. And Like I said before, they did Adriana a FAVOR. This is a blessing in disguise, because VS is honestly not just doing well right now. Its good they gently let Adriana go before it got TOO bad, literally after she left their CEO resigned. She doesn't have to be apart of whatever they have to do. If she was still there the changes probably wouldn't have worked in her favor and that was nice of Taylor. All the messages by VS crew were nice
