The industry is way different these days, they pass out those things to you. Adriana received the things she has by her own self and real talent that you can actually see. I don’t think there is really a comparison between her and irina outside of their looks. Even when VS had high standards they knew to pass on Irina. They didn’t start using her until they got desperate themselves. But when VS was still doing good, irina kept getting rejected this was also around the time Irina couldn’t get a vogue editorial nor a hf campaign to save her life. She is the only model I know who now does alot of HF, who never got hf jobs (cover nor runway nor campaigns) from the age of 17-27. She belonged to the sports illustrated and commercial community. I don't think its a coincidence she picked up more work at the same time, other models are for reasons that doesn't have to do with talent. Y’all were talking about her loreal deal, she isn’t with them anymore. She couldn’t keep that contract long besides intimissi.... I wouldn’t compare her to adriana. Its like an open secret that the men that irina messed with impacted her career greatly and it shows. She doesn’t keep contracts long like great models do, her hf work isn’t impressive. While Adriana wasn’t a top fav in hf, she was never somebody that needed a man to enhance her career, she keeps contracts for a very long time and her accomplishments are better. Irina may now have more vogue covers, but its like I said TIMING is everything. Irina is in her prime at the same time the hadids and kendall jenner is lol. When Adriana was around Irina's age and younger, they actually wanted talent and stuff and thats when Adriana got her great accomplishments. That being said, I do wish Adriana would take advantage of how much easier the industry is to rule today. Especially with her status. Adriana’s iconicness is cemented, Adriana isn’t just a “phase”, she is someone who people still remember and will always. Its obvious she is still very much loved but she just isn’t taking advantage of any of that. She isn’t posting anything on social media to remind people of her and her work or any of that. I honestly think it is her personal life that is keeping her from being focused on marketing herself more. It sucks but what you can do? Her management team sucks and Adriana is too preoccupied with her toxic relationship/boyfriend or she is too scared of what people would say to use her social media now . I wish Adriana kept using her power and its sucks that she enters the new year like this but like everyone is saying what can we do? We can’t do nothing but watch adriana not help herself. Thank god she has a legacy now and will always be remembered for her greater days and higher career moments. It really does seem like she is spending 2019 like she is 2018. Which really sucks and is irrational. I don’t think it dawned her that it is a new year, which mean 365 new days for her to do better and get things right, and stop making the same poor choices. But so for she ended 2018 and started 2019 the same exact way she ended 2017 and started 2018. That goes for both her personal life and career management

Her team def posted that post because its 2019, and she still hasn't posted shit because she is with the leech monster, its just awkward as a public figure who is still supposed to be moving along with her career to not post anything into the new year. She isn't fully retired so, she still has to act like her social media is there to use. If her team didn't post her puma stuff, she probably still wouldn't have posted anything since last year. Lol lets not pretend that her unfollowing him, deleting pictures of him, posting subliminals of him and liking pics for days about bad boyfriend which in turn causes a media shit storm with turkey press, only for her to be with him the very next week at some part with her arm wrapped around him doesn’t look bad. Not even metin will show that he is with her right now and he would surely love to like he usually does for attention. They aren’t going to because after they did all of that, people would look at them, especially Adriana very strange. And we all know that now Adriana cares so much about what people say on social media, as well as him. I am pretty sure even she knows that she made some poor decisions doing all of that. You don’t complain about a relationship being unhealthy for you, and go right back to it within a week. That is not good, and just because you are tired of hearing people complain about their messed up relationship, does not validate it. Yes it is messy, to say something causes you mental and emotional unrest and saying its unhealthy and it caused huge media drama, only to get back with that person shortly after. That is not only messy but unhealthy and toxic, even Adriana herself basically said the same thing calling it unhealthy. But ANYWAYS back on the new topic we actually were on, yeah hopefully this year would like 2014 in terms of career since she is clearly excited on this puma path she has. Maybe she is still hungry for a continuing career, thats what I do wonder. If she is ready to step back from the limelight since she retired from something huge or is her heart still in modelling. And that is the thing that shame and avoidance is telling her something. I am no longer frustrated by the pattern of her letting him hurt her bad and do shady things to her and then getting back with him as if her blood pressure wasn't raised by him. Because I am used to it. I literally predicted that this was going to happen because I could tell from Metin's actions that he was gonna plan something like this and Adriana is going to fall for it because she is clearly at a depressing sad stage in her life. I am starting to think she thinks she has to settle for him. I said Adriana usually gets rid of the trash, but with her getting older I think she has lost confidence to leave a man. This has happened so much that I am no longer surprised and I find it funny because it is so ridiculous. However, what is killing me that it's clear that Adriana has seen what we have seen in him. Her eyes were open before he came back and even though they are together I know she didn't forget. Like I said it's a chip on her shoulder. Her avoidance of sharing anything because he is around again is her knowing she made a poor decision and she knows its embarrassing and looks bad if people see how quickly she let him in her life again. Especially as someone who has kids, Adriana knows she is with someone that is toxic with her. She knows its unhealthy for her, and what affects her will affect her family/kids. She doesn't want people to know that she is willingly engaging in something even she knows is toxic and unhealthy. Its frustrating that she knows something isn't right and she is literally pretending she doesn't. We could tell when she was upset at him that her eyes were very open. Like I said, god can only help her. She had the chance to help herself for the new year and walk away but she chose to stay in mess. I hope someway and somehow she start loving herself more than she loves a man. She isn't loving herself more. Because them continuing this relationship is only going to benefit Metin the most because Adriana is the genuine one and the biggest supporting one as well as the successful. All Adriana keeps getting from him is creepiness, exploitation to help his career, awkwardness, and heartbreak. Continuing this messy relationship is loving him more than she does herself because she isn't getting alot out of it nor is she getting what she should. She literally said it herself with those posts. She knows she is getting the short end of the stick and she knows it not right. Adriana needs to love herself more no matter how depressed she may feel about being single again. That shame and avoidance of letting people know what she is up to and who she is with (metin) is telling her something, man This is random but after seeing a clip from her party and other videos of her Adriana has really good taste in music. Happy New years! No post for 2019 neither?? One thing I will never understand is why can't she just be normal and her usual self while with Metin. I mean, I know they BOTH have been avoiding social media just to keep from looking like fools because they did the most over a possible break up, only to be together the next week pretending to be truly happy with each other but still. No, the only person who should be doing that is Adriana. Like I said, its the reason why she had gone so quiet and thats why she waited days later to get mad at the turkish press. She didn't say anything the first few days of that rumor but all of a sudden days after. I am not even joking when I say "Jesus fix it". And this just adds on to how fake and disingenuous Metin is and he is just worried about attention being taken away from him and his career. Because no man would be doing the same thing neither. See why I didn't give my hopes up for a break up. I told ya'll he was going to flee to Miami and its going to be the same shit over again. I think her family from Brazil is coming from New years. Her mom took some pictures on a plane with her grandmother. I hope its true. It would be good for Adriana to be surrounded by real family and people that actually love her. Also, its good because I think Adriana being around her own people would remind her of her roots. I honestly think thats the to key to finding herself and her true soul authentically. I hope that is where her mom is headed

She does usually post Merry Christmas though, I can't recall a year she never did... even if its just one post, she does acknowledge it. Even last year she did, despite her going through the same thing with him at that time too. For me, its not about getting posts from her as much as it is the reason why she isn't posting. Its the holidays and she just ended apart of her career enormously, its a shame her spirit is a bit down, especially over somebody like that prick. He's not worth it. About following and stuff, at their age it means nothing and is barley used. Calling metin a "Creep" is putting it very nicely. You can call him worse given all he has done. It just sucks someone like him ended up meeting someone like Adriana. Vulnerable, sweet, and wears her heart on her sleeve. The post of Adriana that the media keeps sharing, is the quote about how parents raise their sons. And that its not a woman's job to raise them properly. Thats what she had posted. And he posts that old photo of him and his mom saying he was a "proud son" of hers. Proud to be the kind of son she raised. I COULD be wrong but I doubt it. I don't put it past him, it would be very ironic if he just randomly decided to post that out all the other times he could have (on her birthday, or mother's day or his own birthday). He chose a random day to post that after the quote Adriana posted was all over turkish media.

I mean I understand why she would be so crushed. Because she kept defending him and all that, and he was starting to change her alot. Like she was in so deep with that dude that she just did not seem like herself. When you are in that deep with somebody and then you realize that something isn't right and that your life is actually better off without that person, it will sting bad. Thats why I am not getting too excited about them being broken up for good because Adriana was VERY blinded this time, and its not easy to become totally unblinded in her case. Its going to take sometime for her to get used to the fact that somebody she probably shared alot with and who she clearly gave soo much to (let him drive/use her car, let him stay at her house all the time, let him enjoy the nice tickets she got from sports games and such. Supported his career publicly, alot of super famous people supported him JUST because of Adriana. She gave him so much while he did very little in comparison ) Anyways, somebody who she gave all of that to she realizes was somebody who was very shady and used her and didn't care about her like he should have. I just hope she doesn't think the answer is to get back with him. Thats not gonna make her happy again because the same problems will keep happening. She probably doesn't even see him the same anymore, so there is no use in getting back with him. What she gotta go through right now IS tough, I understand it. Its not easy. However, its whats best for her and I hope she knows that. Yes it does suck that someone like this guy (she was out of his league in ALL ways possible, both in looks and character), is one who seems to have affected her the worst. He is just trash and he doesn't care and doesn't think he is wrong. He never does. And now, Adriana is in a bad place emotionally and mentally. He has been the source of so much negativity in her life, its not even our life and even we just want it to end. And even with her being by herself right now, the negativity is still lurking around her. She just has to get over it is all. She has to know that she will be alright and that she doesn't need him in her life. She does not need no man, but she especially doesn't need one like him who has used her to benefit himself and caused too many problems for her. If she'd remember she doesn't need him and will survive greatly without him in her life she will be fine.

I think she posted that, just to post something. I think Adriana is still in a bad place right now, so she doesn't want to post probably because she is in a bad mood or to avoid turkish press talking more shit. But she probably felt like she should post something, even though it was random and had no message. I think if she was in a better mood, there would be better and more usual posts. UGH Seriously this is why I can’t with Metin, even with her not talking to him right now, he still has this dark cloud over her. Its so cool to see all different kinds of people (men and women) to be so familiar with her walks/openings that they even knew the segment names that she walked in. This surprised me because the segments people were naming, weren't even included in the video, they were segment walks of Adriana that they felt should have been included in top 10 to make the cut. The familiarity is impressive, like I am an Adriana fan but I didn't even remember the name of her 2005 candy opening segment but these men in the comments did lol
