Because if she needed to lose weight it would have been seen here and keep in mind these photos are more recent When Adriana gains weight it shows in her face the most (and she starts using those filters alot in selfies), the fact that her face actually looks normal says something. Her face is a normal size (for her) You couldn't even see her face in those gym candids because of her mask. When Adriana gains weight, it seen in her face alot obviously that isn't the case right now. And didn't she JUST post a selfie of her stomach and boy in her ig stories on christmas??? It looked normal (for her, her waist will always be boxy) but she didn't have a gut at all. It makes no sense to say she needs to lose weight after how she looks in all the more recent photos

She looked fine in those photos of her in the black dress and on christmas. That being said, its the holidays. Adriana and models do not work in the months of December - January. So the fact that she is still working out everyday says you're being an ass saying she"needs to lose weight", this is vacation time for models, she really doesn't have to be doing anyway and she still is. AND she is doing what she has been doing for years, if it wasn't working, she wouldn't looked the way she has since she lost Valentina.

Exactly. She has IT and transcends generations and different types of people. Thats how exceptional she actually is. Yeah thats why she is considered "timeless" IMO. It doesn't matter how much it changes, she is always looked at as a blue print for beauty and models. The time changes doesn't stop people from loving her MASSIVELY

I was just about to post something like this except because of this video I saw: The fact that young youtubers and content creators are making POSITIVE videos about her as a good person who also happens to be a highly successful "sexy" model is so great. You have to be pretty big to inspire content creators to do that. And it was such a positive video and people in the comments all said the same things. That she is beautiful inside and out and there is more to her than her looks. Thats another reason why she is so big, people have gotten to truly know her even without the help of social media and they love the idea that they have of her. And honestly VS was the job that made people look at her beyond her looks to be honest The above video was uploaded December 8th and this video below, making some of the same points was also posted last week. IDK but for some reason everybody has Adriana on the brain right now lol. And its all about how despite being a model and known to be sexy, she is more than that

Yeah, I remember being naive and thinking I wanted to see Adriana with a high end makeup brand like Givenchy, Chanel, Marc Jacobs. But those contracts simply do not last nearly as long (and I don't think they pay as much). In my opinion her being able to stay with Maybelline as long as she already has is another bragging right for her. Only the better models can keep those beauty contracts like that. Adriana's extensive list of work AND memorable work shows that she is an exceptional model.

While I think Adriana did great for herself thus far, she became iconic and not every top model does no matter how much work they book. Even Adriana herself said during that Vogue Arabia interview that she did make some mistakes on her choices for her career. Like, she rejected certain opportunities earlier on that now she realizes she should have taken. Atleast she is aware, she does not lack self awareness and she does have alot of drive. She just likes to handle things her own way still. Like you said, she gonna be for herself. I don't care how much a model benefits from their relationships, it just takes you down some notches, ESPECIALLY when you can see in their work that without their famous partners, they would not be getting the opportunities. Gisele is the only one who actually has the talent to back up all she benefited from (I honestly feel like even without Leo and Tom, she would still be highly highly successful) Barabra.... She's a pretty girl and has a refreshing full figure. But I don't even know much about her. I think thats how far under the radar she is in terms of career. IDK why because I never looked much at the work that she did get much, so I can't judge if she just isn't talented enough but I do think she isn't the biggest model.

Exactly. Adriana is seen as actually Iconic. She just isn't a successful model, she actually made her mark. And @lucyford is right that it wasn't until covid, she slowed up. Which is understandable because for some reason Adriana just has to live in Miami. The others made sure to live in NYC, thats where you have to be. Also, Irina would be out in NYC with no mask during its shut down, so she didn't take it as seriously as Adriana clearly was. The pandemic has shifted things for alot of people, but Adriana is clearly motivated and I think she is trying to make some moves. We will see later, as we always do. Adriana always drops new work when we don't expect it.

I agree with this. I don't care what Irina does, at the end of the day she clearly needed those relationships. Not only because it changed her career but I am not impressed by her actual work. She is far from the best model. She had to rely on everything BUT talent and what not to get where she is. She will never be comparable in my eyes. And to me she is still a model who just books. She hasn't gone all out to break records and make history with her work like Adriana or Gisele or Tyra. These are models who have REAL bragging rights because of how they sell or what they managed to achieve with their work. Irina's career isn't like that, she just gets an opportunity any model who tries HARD ENOUGH will also get. But sometimes she blows those chances because she isn't that talented. I also agree with @Marsnoop another thing is they aren't even the same ages. Irina eventually will come to a point where her work slows down too, and honestly will she be known as iconic as Adriana for her actual work, I don't see that yet. She would be just another top model who has her successful run. Plenty of models have had those and will have those. but not plenty of models have down what Adriana managed when she was around the ages of Irina and Candice, especially Candice. She has been booking more but Adriana still has her beat in terms of over all career. I would be surprised if she surpasses her because Candice seems more like an Adriana than Irina, she doesn't kiss up nor does she get involved in high profile relationships.

No actually she gained followers more than she ever has recently. She was on 12.5 since she retired from VS. She only just went up to 12.6 recently. And she is actually staying there. Maybe if you check the numbers they shift up and down but obviously nothing significant for her to be on 12.6 when for the first half of the year she had 12.5

Yeah Puma, is not a long term kind of thing. Thats basically just a clothing line. Models don't stay with those for long term, its usually just a season. The fact that she worked for Puma for more than year was rare itself. Something like Maybelline, they offer long term contracts, a model can still with a beauty brand for like 15 years. Look at Eva Longoria and lorreal.

But she was there because lais thanked her for those cookies. So its not just marko taking the children to events. Adriana just isn't shown in every documentation

^ If I recall you are one of those people who think she doesn't look good on candids at all and looks better in selfies and what not. I think its the reverse. Adriana doesn't typically look like her usual self in selfies because she is weird about taking them lol. She does herself no favors with them. The angles and the filters make her look unrecognizable at times. Which isn't the case in real candids, you would actually recognize her in her real life and when she is out and about. Her face may look bigger in those older candids because she probably gained weight, or for some reason is carrying more weight in her face (hopefully not from anything like fillers that will make her face big initially). But we have seen she does tend to use more filters if she gained weight and it shows in her face. She also hasn't been posting herself much which is another thing she does when she gained weight. It happened in 2018. So she probably has gained more weight while being at home. But hopefully by now she has rid of it, it happened to alot of people. But hopefully thats not the case anymore and she stop using those filters that make her look russian. Why do that when you look like Adriana Lima lol

I think her eyebrows are finally starting to look normal again after that terrible job but I wish she'd stop using those filters that make her look russian. She keeps using filters that do her no favors, I wish she knew she is better off without all that crap

Maybelline just sent her something more recently and promoted it.. I don't think it would make sense for Maybelline to not have her under contract anymore but then send her something RIGHT after her contract was over. Thats like VS sending her something in 2019 (something they was doing), after she retired from them in 2018. Like why do that if you let the person go. But it does make sense to send her stuff and she truly does promote it. With the Ilia, all she did was show what she got. She does that often, even with clothes, it was probably thought less. But Adriana put on what maybelline gave her and showed/displayed exactly what product she wore, that is def promoting what she did with maybelline

I agree. And even if it doesn't go as planned, she can always just go back and sign up to another agency guys. This something completely reversible if need be. Not like she did something permanent, its something that can be fixed if it needs to be Also, in her caption she mentioned the work she has gotten from 2018 up to this point, was actually by HERSELF. And thats good because thats more than 2 Vogue covers and campaigns with miu miu, BCBG, and MaxMara. So its not like it hasn't worked out before. Lets hope it continues to. And even if not, it takes nothing for her to sign up to another agency again as I said.

Its obvious from her last interview with Vogue Arabia and her IG posts, she hasn't quit modelling nor does she want to. First, it would be "retiring" and if she did decide to retire its not gonna be just sudden and without an announcement/statement. Ya'll gotta remember this covid stuff has changed things around for some people for different reasons. We don't know exactly how this has affected her and her plans. Also, at the end of the day we NEVER know about Adriana's work and what she is doing until the actual work comes out. Its been that way for years. Most of the work that comes out, we have no idea when it was shot. Ya'll should be patient, its not like its a regular year for everyone. She literally had a campaign and a Vogue cover come out right before covid

@Wicked Game is right. She did dump him very quick. Like literally one night they were in Cannes at the amfar party, where she had on that big black dress, very covered. They went there and the next day (literally) Adriana unfollowed him, removed pics and she even followed a domestic violence account afterwards as well. And yes he actually left miami right after that. We don't know why or what happened, but it had to be huge and bad for things to change literally over night and then he left the state of Florida

Yeah, she is def rubbing alot of real fans the wrong way with it. I know of a former fan account of Adriana, they just changed it. They had been a big fan for years, and had like 80K followers for their fan account. I do know this fan was progressively getting annoyed with Adriana's antic sometimes, and they started to question what she is really about. And after adriana's last IG story stunt posting that conspiracy, they just decided to unfollow her and turned that big account into a gisele fan account instead and only follow Gisele and Alessandra. Its sad because that was a big fan, she was even concerned for Adriana when Adriana was dating Metin. So, its not like they were only fans because of what Adriana looked like, but because of Adriana's personality as well. I think all these wack and bad conspiracy posts was the last straw. THAT is why fans try to warn Adriana and her people because, its important to know how the public conveys these things. I don't care how much Adriana says she doesn't care if people misunderstand her, you have to think about these things. If you want people to continue to support you and hire you, put money in your pocket, put food on your table- don't do things that will piss alot of people off. Don't do things that will turn people off. Its not gonna be the vaccine that take away Adriana's job but those IG stories. Thats the thing. Nobody is really gonna get in the way of Adriana and her career, but HERSELF. She has to be smarter and more open-minded
