Thats like putting Adriana down for bella hadid or Jenner. No matter how much work they get, nobody thinks they get it for good reasons. People know who is the superior model, its not them. Adriana has already made her mark, she doesn't have to compete with girls like that, she is 40 and had a long career, call me when they do that. She doesn't have to keep proving herself for the rest of her life because of younger NEO models. She is already a REAL supermodel, she is already Iconic. Thats why she is still being compared to them by FANS during these fashion weeks without even attending, because she has left her mark and is at a higher standard. Its the same case with Irina, Adriana's overall career is better and she did it on her own I get that you are an Irina stan, but real people know no matter how much Irina utliizes her relationships with her men and friends in the industry, she doesn't book those jobs because she better than Adriana. The fact that Adriana BEEN did what Irina is just now doing, when they are only 5 years apart shows that. Everyone knows it. It will never be okay to try to drag Adriana in the name of someone who didn't get their first Vogue work until they were in their 30s years after dating one of the MOST famous men in the world. Thats not a coincidence. While Adriana has been doing that since she was a teenager, without VS and without a famous boyfriend. It will never make sense to drag her in the name of Irina, its like dragging her for the hadids. It is a new era, models today are NOT getting jobs because they are good. You can criticize Adriana's career without comparing her to someone who depended on men and connections to get where she is about 15 years AFTER Adriana already got hers. If you want to go and praise someone's career that is not built off of their talents and look the most, go to their forum and do that. But adriana BEEN made a name for herself, she has BEEN called a supermodel, and is already seen as an Icon in her industry. She can not be torn down by somebody who still has NOT done all of that yet, and should have been by now. Irina is getting there and JUST now making it happen. To me, if it took that long, when you can see in her work WHY it took that long, considering all of this- she is not worth putting Adriana down for. Adriana def has better stats and more iconic WORK, there is a reason why Adriana had been with maybelline for atleast 10 years, and Irina couldn't even keep her Lo'real contract, a contract that usually lasts just as long as Maybelline contract. So don't start that mess again,. Adriana still has the better career overall. Irina doesn't keep contracts long unless its a friend behind it, and she still hasn't been able to do with ONE brand what Adriana managed to do with VS and Maybelline. And most people find her work boring or cringy, thats not the case with Adriana. People actually feel Adriana is very talented and enjoy her work, which is probably why she didn't need famous men or friendships for her exceptional higher earning career. That being said, Adriana DID have work at the start of 2020 and in 2019. You don't forget to compare her to Irina, but you somehow forgot she was alongside Irina in that 2020 MaxMara campaign. She was with Irina on the Vogue Spain 2019 cover and then on Vogue Arabia November 2019. She was still a maybelline girl in 2019-2020, She had her Puma campaign in 2019-2020 and her items sold out constantly, and her sunglasses in 2020, again best seller there . And her last Vogue Cover was April 2020. Adriana has barely traveled since. So IDK what you're on about, You did this when Adriana had an agency, so don't act like its about her lack of one now. . Its been one year and one hard ass year for everybody, Adriana IS not defined by half of a year. The OTHER 20+ years of her career defines her, something else you should actually be hoping for Irina to achieve, that Adriana has already been able to do. Stay around and getting first rate work for THAT long.

Yeah but its always been that way, like when she was number 1 with 47 million, the least it was from was modelling at that point. I think whoever made that, just combined alot of popular models and some numbers lol. Because Rosie was above Adriana, which has never been the case and its because her career isn't that extensive.

The makeup looks almost exactly like when she took a selfie saying she did her own makeup. That being said, IMO Adriana has been like that the past couple of years. When she was younger, she didn't wear much. But as she got older, for some reason she looks to wear like alot of eyeliner sometimes, or even overline her lips. I think she likes that look for some reason (I prefer when she wore less). But she seems to be into dark kind of makeup

One thing about modelling is it goes through its eras and phases. The neo take over will end and I think its coming sooner rather than later. like Gigi didn't bank as much work on her pregnancy as I thought she would. Like everyone thought she was gonna have the typical "pregnant" vogue cover like Gisele and even miranda kerr had, even when Adriana got pregnant the second time she got a major job with pirerreli calendar. That really didn't happen for Gigi. Bella's face is started to become morphed from all the work she got done and I expect that to start affecting the amount of work she gets because she doesn't even look good in her work. Photoshopping still isn't helping. And Kendall has slown down gradually compared to when she first came out. I think soon, the industry will be over them. Their time will pass like the brazilian takeover did, and like the russian dolls did. Only the best models stay for decades

I am sure it was the clothes. Because if she needed to lose weight it would have been seen here and keep in mind these photos are more recent When Adriana gains weight it shows in her face the most (and she starts using those filters alot in selfies), the fact that her face actually looks normal says something. Her face is a normal size (for her) You couldn't even see her face in those gym candids because of her mask. When Adriana gains weight, it seen in her face alot obviously that isn't the case right now. And didn't she JUST post a selfie of her stomach and boy in her ig stories on christmas??? It looked normal (for her, her waist will always be boxy) but she didn't have a gut at all. It makes no sense to say she needs to lose weight after how she looks in all the more recent photos

She looked fine in those photos of her in the black dress and on christmas. That being said, its the holidays. Adriana and models do not work in the months of December - January. So the fact that she is still working out everyday says you're being an ass saying she"needs to lose weight", this is vacation time for models, she really doesn't have to be doing anyway and she still is. AND she is doing what she has been doing for years, if it wasn't working, she wouldn't looked the way she has since she lost Valentina.

Exactly. She has IT and transcends generations and different types of people. Thats how exceptional she actually is. Yeah thats why she is considered "timeless" IMO. It doesn't matter how much it changes, she is always looked at as a blue print for beauty and models. The time changes doesn't stop people from loving her MASSIVELY

I was just about to post something like this except because of this video I saw: The fact that young youtubers and content creators are making POSITIVE videos about her as a good person who also happens to be a highly successful "sexy" model is so great. You have to be pretty big to inspire content creators to do that. And it was such a positive video and people in the comments all said the same things. That she is beautiful inside and out and there is more to her than her looks. Thats another reason why she is so big, people have gotten to truly know her even without the help of social media and they love the idea that they have of her. And honestly VS was the job that made people look at her beyond her looks to be honest The above video was uploaded December 8th and this video below, making some of the same points was also posted last week. IDK but for some reason everybody has Adriana on the brain right now lol. And its all about how despite being a model and known to be sexy, she is more than that

Yeah, I remember being naive and thinking I wanted to see Adriana with a high end makeup brand like Givenchy, Chanel, Marc Jacobs. But those contracts simply do not last nearly as long (and I don't think they pay as much). In my opinion her being able to stay with Maybelline as long as she already has is another bragging right for her. Only the better models can keep those beauty contracts like that. Adriana's extensive list of work AND memorable work shows that she is an exceptional model.

While I think Adriana did great for herself thus far, she became iconic and not every top model does no matter how much work they book. Even Adriana herself said during that Vogue Arabia interview that she did make some mistakes on her choices for her career. Like, she rejected certain opportunities earlier on that now she realizes she should have taken. Atleast she is aware, she does not lack self awareness and she does have alot of drive. She just likes to handle things her own way still. Like you said, she gonna be for herself. I don't care how much a model benefits from their relationships, it just takes you down some notches, ESPECIALLY when you can see in their work that without their famous partners, they would not be getting the opportunities. Gisele is the only one who actually has the talent to back up all she benefited from (I honestly feel like even without Leo and Tom, she would still be highly highly successful) Barabra.... She's a pretty girl and has a refreshing full figure. But I don't even know much about her. I think thats how far under the radar she is in terms of career. IDK why because I never looked much at the work that she did get much, so I can't judge if she just isn't talented enough but I do think she isn't the biggest model.

Exactly. Adriana is seen as actually Iconic. She just isn't a successful model, she actually made her mark. And @lucyford is right that it wasn't until covid, she slowed up. Which is understandable because for some reason Adriana just has to live in Miami. The others made sure to live in NYC, thats where you have to be. Also, Irina would be out in NYC with no mask during its shut down, so she didn't take it as seriously as Adriana clearly was. The pandemic has shifted things for alot of people, but Adriana is clearly motivated and I think she is trying to make some moves. We will see later, as we always do. Adriana always drops new work when we don't expect it.

I agree with this. I don't care what Irina does, at the end of the day she clearly needed those relationships. Not only because it changed her career but I am not impressed by her actual work. She is far from the best model. She had to rely on everything BUT talent and what not to get where she is. She will never be comparable in my eyes. And to me she is still a model who just books. She hasn't gone all out to break records and make history with her work like Adriana or Gisele or Tyra. These are models who have REAL bragging rights because of how they sell or what they managed to achieve with their work. Irina's career isn't like that, she just gets an opportunity any model who tries HARD ENOUGH will also get. But sometimes she blows those chances because she isn't that talented. I also agree with @Marsnoop another thing is they aren't even the same ages. Irina eventually will come to a point where her work slows down too, and honestly will she be known as iconic as Adriana for her actual work, I don't see that yet. She would be just another top model who has her successful run. Plenty of models have had those and will have those. but not plenty of models have down what Adriana managed when she was around the ages of Irina and Candice, especially Candice. She has been booking more but Adriana still has her beat in terms of over all career. I would be surprised if she surpasses her because Candice seems more like an Adriana than Irina, she doesn't kiss up nor does she get involved in high profile relationships.
