Also, watched a Gisele interview yesterday and she talked about how at that time it was very risky to even accept a VS contract if you cared about wanting to be a Vogue kind of model. She said she had a long talk with agent before accepting VS contract because they warned her, signing a contract like that is basically like committing to commercial modelling and not Vogue. Clearly someone like Gisele made it happen, but it explains the careers of Tyra, Heidi, etc and to an extent Adriana's. Adriana STILL did well enough, she has alot of HF campaigns actually and 2/4 of the Big Four. But yeah, it wasn't easy getting that alone and the Vogue covers she does have because Adriana def committed herself more to commercial, but she still has a better hf career than most other VS angels. But yeah overall, her career is rare and in a good way . She has alot of bragging rights and thats what gave her the supermodel title.

Exactly. Adriana has not only reached a great supermodel status, but she actually has one helluva OVERALL career. Sure, she doesn't have the most Vogue covers because she was rising at a time where it truly was hard to get one, even Tyra had to retire with only one Vogue cover and Heidi only has like 4, it was hard. But outside of that Adriana def has an exceptional career, the only thing she hasn't done is a hair campaign and skincare. But she did basically everything else, and was highly successful at it too. Even when she sold cellphones, everybody remembered her for doing that. Anytime she does something its actually remarkable

You need to read again, someone ELSE came in here bring Adriana down in comparison to Irina-another model. You're literally acting as if we were talking badly about other models here. We were not. Stop lying, you need to accept that, if ya'll don't want people talking about your favorite models, DO NOT bring them up to try to attack Adriana in her own forum. That is how this started and YOU need to accept that. Wasn't nobody talking about other models until the other Irina stan came in. If you all don't want people talking about other models, don't try to use them to bring Adriana down, PERIOD. I agree that AT THIS POINT we don't know what Adriana has going on or even planned. Like we haven't even seen her at the gym because she hasn't even been sharing that. It was last year when she made that statement, and she actually removed that email from her bio. That is for a reason. So, at this point we don't know how people are going to be able to contact her for stuff. We do not know why this change was made but it has to mean something. Clearly some things have changed and we do not know what. We do not know what she is up to or her next plans, or where she wants to head as of now. But I don't agree with anybody talking about her as if she is a half accomplished 25 year old model who is lazy and letting people down. She is allowed to do what she wants after 20+ years, she's grown too, let her figure it out and be more real with how great her career has been thus far as well as her impact. And yes, as I stated she had one of her most active years between 2018-early 2020 (before covid)

Another brand deal SOME people forgot she has done since leaving VS was her deal with Chopard's in 2019, she had a campaign with them. Thats Jewelry and they sell watches. We haven't seen Adriana work with IWC since she worked with Chopard's in 2019. So that deal has been over with actually. Because they are both Jewelry and it would be a contradiction in terms of contract. I don't recall Karolina having another jewelry brand deal outside of IWC so it makes sense she was still there. I think that was a good move on Adriana's part because she had been working with SWC since 2011. Chopard's is another brand under her belt. So IWC was crossed out when she got another deal

Did you really just typed two large paragraphs yourself. Just like Irina did x, y and z to finally get where she is. Adriana also did what she had to, Adriana comes from fucking nothing. Who gives a shit about social media and what other social media era models do when you're already an iconic supermodel and has been working consistently from ages 16-39, she BEEN doing the damn thing. When Irina has that many years and broke records like her, then you can talk. Irina and the rest of the models in this generation are NO type of standard for Adriana if anything its the reverse.

You can criticize Adriana's career without comparing her to someone who depended on men and connections to get where she is about 15 years AFTER Adriana already got hers. If you want to go and praise someone's career that is not built off of their talents and look the most, go to their forum and do that. But adriana BEEN made a name for herself, she has BEEN called a supermodel, and is already seen as an Icon in her industry. She can not be torn down by somebody who still has NOT done all of that yet, and should have been by now. Irina is getting there and JUST now making it happen. To me, if it took that long, when you can see in her work WHY it took that long, considering all of this- she is not worth putting Adriana down for. Adriana def has better stats and more iconic WORK, there is a reason why Adriana had been with maybelline for atleast 10 years, and Irina couldn't even keep her Lo'real contract, a contract that usually lasts just as long as Maybelline contract. So don't start that mess again,. Adriana still has the better career overall. Irina doesn't keep contracts long unless its a friend behind it, and she still hasn't been able to do with ONE brand what Adriana managed to do with VS and Maybelline. And most people find her work boring or cringy, thats not the case with Adriana. People actually feel Adriana is very talented and enjoy her work, which is probably why she didn't need famous men or friendships for her exceptional higher earning career. That being said, Adriana DID have work at the start of 2020 and in 2019. You don't forget to compare her to Irina, but you somehow forgot she was alongside Irina in that 2020 MaxMara campaign. She was with Irina on the Vogue Spain 2019 cover and then on Vogue Arabia November 2019. She was still a maybelline girl in 2019-2020, She had her Puma campaign in 2019-2020 and her items sold out constantly, and her sunglasses in 2020, again best seller there . And her last Vogue Cover was April 2020. Adriana has barely traveled since. So IDK what you're on about, You did this when Adriana had an agency, so don't act like its about her lack of one now. . Its been one year and one hard ass year for everybody, Adriana IS not defined by half of a year. The OTHER 20+ years of her career defines her, something else you should actually be hoping for Irina to achieve, that Adriana has already been able to do. Stay around and getting first rate work for THAT long.

The makeup looks almost exactly like when she took a selfie saying she did her own makeup. That being said, IMO Adriana has been like that the past couple of years. When she was younger, she didn't wear much. But as she got older, for some reason she looks to wear like alot of eyeliner sometimes, or even overline her lips. I think she likes that look for some reason (I prefer when she wore less). But she seems to be into dark kind of makeup

One thing about modelling is it goes through its eras and phases. The neo take over will end and I think its coming sooner rather than later. like Gigi didn't bank as much work on her pregnancy as I thought she would. Like everyone thought she was gonna have the typical "pregnant" vogue cover like Gisele and even miranda kerr had, even when Adriana got pregnant the second time she got a major job with pirerreli calendar. That really didn't happen for Gigi. Bella's face is started to become morphed from all the work she got done and I expect that to start affecting the amount of work she gets because she doesn't even look good in her work. Photoshopping still isn't helping. And Kendall has slown down gradually compared to when she first came out. I think soon, the industry will be over them. Their time will pass like the brazilian takeover did, and like the russian dolls did. Only the best models stay for decades

Because if she needed to lose weight it would have been seen here and keep in mind these photos are more recent When Adriana gains weight it shows in her face the most (and she starts using those filters alot in selfies), the fact that her face actually looks normal says something. Her face is a normal size (for her) You couldn't even see her face in those gym candids because of her mask. When Adriana gains weight, it seen in her face alot obviously that isn't the case right now. And didn't she JUST post a selfie of her stomach and boy in her ig stories on christmas??? It looked normal (for her, her waist will always be boxy) but she didn't have a gut at all. It makes no sense to say she needs to lose weight after how she looks in all the more recent photos

She looked fine in those photos of her in the black dress and on christmas. That being said, its the holidays. Adriana and models do not work in the months of December - January. So the fact that she is still working out everyday says you're being an ass saying she"needs to lose weight", this is vacation time for models, she really doesn't have to be doing anyway and she still is. AND she is doing what she has been doing for years, if it wasn't working, she wouldn't looked the way she has since she lost Valentina.
