Clarence Seedorf
Seedorf: We Have To Win Them All AC Milan's Clarence Seedorf talked about the highly anticipated derby next weekend against Inter. With only five days to go before the highly anticipated derby of Milan, the tension is starting to build between the two camps. AC Milan playmaker Clarence Seedorf, who also played two seasons for Inter, talked about the match today. "At the moment I see a very strong Inter side," he said, "they can afford to control games and they don't need to take huge risks. This has to be an important signal for us, because we know we will face a team who know exactly what they want." Still, it seems the Rossoneri have more reason for optimism at the moment, as they are certainly in a better period of form than a while ago, having score nine goals in their last two league games (albeit against bottom clubs Reggina and Livorno). The Dutch number 10 assures that he knows what the team's objective should be. "In any case we are doing well right now, we have three games left in which we have to get nine points and then see what Fiorentina do," he concluded. Currently the Viola are the team holding that coveted fourth spot, although Milan came two points closer last weekend after the Tuscan side were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Sampdoria.

Wesley Sneijder
Sneijder Wants Title Drama To Finish Wesley Sneijder hopes that Real Madrid can win the league as soon a possible and has no desire to hold out in order to clinch the championship against Barcelona next week. Los Merengues could be retain the title without playing on Sunday if Villarreal fail to beat Getafe, but the majority of media and fans want to wait until the Blaugrana visit the three days later. Madrid meet Osasuna on Sunday in the Reyno de Navarra and Sneijder would be just as happy making the trophy mathematically safe before or after that match. "If we can win the league then I would prefer to do it as soon as possible. Osasuna will be a very difficult game," he said, before wondering what that could mean for the celebrations at La Cibeles. "We will return late on Sunday. I do not know if we will go that night or on another day." With the league title virtually wrapped up in his first season at the Bernabéu, Sneijder has now set his sights on conquering Europe next year. "It is pefected me. A dream come true," he continued. "Next season we can win the Champions League. This year we were unlucky against Roma." Sneijder has been surprised by how together the Madrid squad is and expressed his admiration for the professional approach of the club captain. "I found every to be very united. I do not know what it was like in previous years, but it is great now," he explained. "Raúl stands out. He is an example to everyone and is the most consistent player in the team. He is someone who you identify the club with." Finally, the Dutchman revealed that he would be happy to remain in Madrid for the rest of his career, but if that is not possible then he will return home. "I am very comfortable in the city and with the fans and what is happening to the team. We are like a family and I think that will last for a long time," he stated. "If I cannot stay with Madrid for the rest of me career, then I will go back to Ajax."

Guti
Guti To Miss Osasuna Trip Guti will not be part of Real Madrid's squad to face Osasuna on Sunday after picking up a left-knee injury that forced him to miss training on Wednesday. The injury will definitely rule Guti out of the game with Osasuna, but also makes him a doubt for the 'clásico' against Barcelona in midweek, although Madrid could already have the league title sewn up before they even take to the field against their great rivals. Guti suffered a twisted left-knee and was unable to take part in any of Wednesday's training session as he spent the time inside Madrid's facilities undergoing physiotherapy work on the injury. "He has suffered a contusion and twist of the external lateral ligament of the left-knee," the club's medical statement read. Christoph Metzelder was the only other player missing from the session, also through injury, while Ruud van Nistelrooy continued his recovery from injury by taking part in a small-sided game with the rest of the squad in an attempt to prove his fitness to coach Bernd Schuster ahead of the weekend game. The Dutch striker has all but shrugged off the right ankle problems that forced him to have surgery to alleviate the issue and is fully expected to be among the squad of eighteen players that Schuster picks to square off against relegation threatened Osasuna on Sunday.

Coulthard's Formula One shunt seals disappointing day TYWNHOLM racer David Coulthard looked set to pick up his first points of the season – only to be hampered by a rear-end shunt. The gutted F1 driver eventually managed 12th place at Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix despite being close to a points finish. He said: “It’s a horrible thing about being down near the end of the grid – you try to keep out of trouble, but it’s never so easy. “I got whacked by [Adrian] Sutil going into turn four and picked up some light damage to the side of the car, but after that I was running okay. “After my pit stop, I took a defensive line into turn four and five to show [Timo] Glock that I knew he was there, but he hit the rear of my car and punctured a tyre.”
