Will Rani and Saif be able to create the magic of 'Hum Tum' After an impressive Hum Tum, and just-about-average Ta Ra Rum Pum, will Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji create magic in their next film Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic? The numerologists don’t think so. Numerologist Niraj Mancchanda says, “Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic comes to a number 13. That means ‘expect the unexpected’. Not only the title, but even Kunal’s company’s name also comes to a number 13. Thus, the movie will fail at the box office. But since the film was completed without any title, and the title was finalised only recently, Kunal will make a great film that’ll garner rave reviews, but the box office collections will not be great. In fact the collections will be below expectations!” Numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi suggests that Kunal should add an extra ‘K’ to the title. “Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magick will create the karishma which the makers want at the box office,” he says. Now, will it be ‘magic’ or ‘magick’ for Saif and Rani? That remains to be seen.

Date Problems - Aishwarya Rai She is at the most promising stage in her professional and personal life, but Aishwarya Rai is one worried woman currently. If reports are to be believed, Ash has to choose between two very good (to say the least) projects with the most sought after film makers in India. Ash has dates to accept only one film and she has to choose between Maniratnam and Shankar, both of whom had given important roles to this former Ms Universe during her initial stages in the film world. Who can forget Ash in her grey sweater, sitting on the edge of the railing near the Kodai suicide point, flirting with Mohanlal in Iruvar? One could not but smile when the beauty swayed in a half-saree for Shankar's Jeans. While Shankar was the man who gave her the title of being the world's eighth wonder in his Adhisayam song, it was Maniratnam who gave her an idea of screen presence and acting. Ash's movie with Mani, where she will be paired with Abhishek (their romance bloomed in Guru) and Vikram (in Tamil) was a commitment that came much before Shankar's Robot with superstar Rajinikanth. Both the movies are in the pre-production stage and the shooting for both is slated to begin this September. Aishwarya, who has said that she is looking forward to working with her husband all over again, has also said she was dying to work with Rajinikanth. Also, this dilemma takes on a different angle, with the astronomical fee she is supposed to have been offered for Robot. If Ash accepts this offer, she will be completely occupied by Robot, as it is Shankar's dream project and demands that kind of time from its actors. In fact, inside sources say Ash's contract with Shankar speaks of her putting motherhood on hold for this film, as it involves Ash losing weight and looking her best. Rumors are rife that Aishwarya may just lose Maniratnam's films (both the Hindi and Tamil ones) to Deepika Padukone. When Aishwarya faced a similar date problem in Hindi for the role of Jhansi Ki Rani in a movie, the offer went straight to Deepika, who, of course accepted it eagerly. So is Ash going to call the shots and ask Mani and Shankar to sort out their shoot dates so as to be a good part of both the films or is she going to sit plum on just one of the two offers and refuse the other? Watch this space for more.

Ronaldo: I Was Extorted By Them Crocked Milan star Ronaldo has stated on his official website that he was the victim in the sex scandal involving three Brazilian transvestites. Ronaldo hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons yesterday when it was reported that he had had an altercation with three transvestites in a motel on Sunday night. One of the three men, Andre Albertino, has accused Ronaldo of taking cocaine with him in a motel in Rio De Janeiro before receiving payment for sex acts. Ronaldo has told police that he picked up the three transvestites, in the belief that they were female prostitutes, and did not realise they were transvestites until they got to the motel. The striker has accused one of the transvestites of trying to extort him, and said that after he offered to pay the transvestites anyway, one of them allegedly asked for $30,000 to hide the story from the media. “There are no accusations for Ronaldo to answer,” read a statement on Ronaldo's official website. “An active supporter of social causes, he has never used drugs and is an idol to youngsters all over the world. "All the evidence points to a case of extortion with Ronaldo as the victim.” The news is said to have hit Ronaldo hard, and as he waited to offer his statement to the police, he repeatedly stated: “This could end my career." The 31-year-old is in Brazil as he continues his recovery from a horrific knee injury sustained against Livorno in February.

AT THE RIGHT MOMENT Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf talked at the Milanello sporting center about the team's week ahead of the game against Inter. - THE DECLARATIONS OF CLARENCE SEEDORF - MILANELLO - Here are the declarations made by Clarence Seedorf to Milan Channel's microphones after the training session: Clarence, we are in the week that leads to the match on Sunday against Inter... "At the moment I see a very strong Inter. They have to control their games and they don't need to take any big risks. This must be an important signal to us because we know we will find a team who know exactly what they want. In any case we are doing well right now, we have three games left in which we have to get three points and then see what Fiorentina do. I think it's right to celebrate every single victory, each game in this period is important, also the one on Sunday against Livorno. There's still a lot of time to get ready and we don't need the whole week to do it ahead of the derby, we will be ready at the right moment. The important thing is to have the tranquility and serenity in our work, without thinking about the game all the time. We have to stay calm, and prepare the game against Inter the same way we have done with the other games these last weeks." What is the best memory you have of a derby? "Certainly the goal I scored to make it 3-2 when we came back from 2-0 down. It was very significant because it helped us to win the Scudetto." Ibrahimovic's absence? "Inter continued to win despite his absence because they are still a strong team, with five very good strikers who can make the difference."

SuperPippo: We Will Beat Inter Pippo Inzaghi has declared that Milan will beat Inter in the derby and go on to qualify for the Champions League. The Rossoneri are struggling to qualify for Europe’s premier club competition, as with just three games remaining, they trail fourth-placed Fiorentina by two points. Milan also have a difficult run-in as their three remaining matches are the derby against Inter, an away trip to Napoli, and a home clash with Udinese. Ahead of this Sunday’s clash with the Nerazzurri, Inzaghi has promised that Milan will collect maximum points from these games. "The derby means a great deal. It is compulsory to beat Inter, Napoli and Udinese,” the prolific striker told the Gazzetta dello Sport. ”Milan will do this. We will win the derby and the other two game. We will be in the Champions League.” Inzaghi has been in simply stunning form of late, having scored eight goals in his last four games. Asked just how he can still be performing so brilliantly at the age of nearly 35, the World Cup winner had a simple answer. "The pleasure of playing," he stated. Inzaghi is making a late charge to be called up to Roberto Donadoni’s Euro 2008 squad.
