  2. Happiest Birthday, dear Shalom may it be blessed with joy and beauty and all things wonderful and delightful
  3. Thanks, Carmelita for the news and your learned opinion (truly). Nice pics of Shalom. Her "silhouette" is so lovely. Thank you. Classy, chic, elegant, glamorous, beautiful. I love her. When she was with the other model agency before this one for awhile she had this little video walkin down some stairs. Lasted about 30 secs. It was so cool. But now it is gone. I never could download it. Anyway, good hearin from you, lady, take care. Ms Tennant is OooKkk, but Shalom, well, there is nobody else like her.
  4. My apologies, it has been awhile since posting here at this wonderful web site, Bellazon. Just visiting Shalom's beautiful thread and elegant memories. I visited www.patrickmcmullan.com and saw some beautiful and recent images of Ms Harlow at Victor & Rolf's 5 year celebration for their perfume, Flowerbomb. If anyone has scans of them, please post, they are gorgeous photos of a gorgeous lady. Also is Shalom going to be at Milan or Paris for the Spring2011 Shows? At DNA I saw no showcard for her. Here are some a handful of photos. The last one, Flair Italy, October2005, is from Rado's fantastic web site. Merci.
  5. Here is the link to Angela's newest ed in Vogue (Russia) to buy this what-will-be a rare and valuable mag "Shrink To Fit" by S Meisel with many gorgeous models including Ms Lindvall great price for Europeans! well worth it! i can only imagine exchange rate makes it tuff for Americans but what a mag it must be! Guinevere - and with Amber Valleta on the cover! other great photographers like Sorrenti and Roversi http://cgi.ebay.com/Angela-Lindvall-Lara-S...=item5d28addffa
  6. The VS Photoshoot pics were gorgeous! Thanks for the post! The following link is for "Ladyflash" of TFS. I didnt know how else to send her this info. I think she wanted to buy the new Hugo Boss Catalog with Ms Lindvall in it. Here is the ebay link if interested. It took a while to search but found it finally. Costs too much for me http://cgi.ebay.com/Angela-Lindvall-Erin-W...=item5d280a7dca
  7. wow, nice scan of Shalom, carMELita, is it a new Chanel ad? I just love this photograph of this beautiful lady of elegance (to dance with her would be such a wonderful dream) photograph from Marie Claire Germany June 1995 by Thomas Krappitz
  8. I've heard Shalom speak a little on YouTube. There is one which starts with Shalom sitting on the floor in this gorgeous pants-dress singing to a bird in a cage. Her modesty and wisdom is implicit in her little "get to know me" piece. Her voice is just as elegant as her looks. There is a very short video at IMG's website (Paris maybe?) that I could look at forever. This image from Meilofon web site is one of DKNY ad by P. Lindbergh which I didnt know until rado. 2 others from same ad are beyond beautiful. Thanks, CarMELita for replying and adding insight.
  9. Merci CarMelita, I checked out that web site and spent over an hour there "leafing" through Ms Harlow's pages of photo/scans. Some were very rare and never before seen by me, the ones by Meisel and Krappitz in the mid-90s are so beautiful and stylish. I love Shalom's hair cut short. If only the pics were HQ, but, then, the mystery and charm would have ended. That is why Joyce and Faulkner and Tennyson and Dickens are such great writers: it takes a lifetime to understand their words and many, many readings of the same book to realize the depth and detail of each page. Anyway :yuckky: thanks, "Mel", for the opened door.
  10. Yes, Carmelita, some of your HQ scans are really super clear and very detailed. Great workladyship. Greta's earliest work while still in Europe I think were her most elegant and artistic. The silent movies depended so much on expression and exaggeration and the subtlest of movement to convey ideas and meanings. That is why Chaplin is the greatest actor of all time. Pantomime- what a lost and beautiful art. Anyway, Garbo should have stayed in Europe. She would have been something more than a goddess. Ingmar Bergman understood in later decades. Thanks, "Mel", for the memories invoked and a wonderful look back at her pure beauty and innocence. Her life while glamorous was tragic. No one stopped to really say hello to her and ask her what she thought, no man ever befriended her, no man was ever in love with her. None thought to see she never really stood upon a pedestal but Garbo actually knelt to catch her tears.
  11. Thank you, Emilia, for the Versace HQs! Angela is so lovely. Even lovlier now. Some of the pics at Morgan's Hotel seem to be gone. Bummer. Or maybe it's just me. But merci anyway everyone.
  12. Yes, ditto here! And so nice to see Shalom at Victor & Rolf, SS 2009 so classy and gorgeous toujours thanks, FRANCEITALY, bubbles, dayrell
  13. Thank you, korravai! The 4th pic(close-up) of Maggie is very nice. She is the same time period as Kirsten Owen, Karen Elson, Kristy McMenamy, Aurelie Claudel, and Nadja Auermann and other very beautiful models.
