I hope the Astros advance into the World Series. It would be nice to see the White Sox and Astros duke it out for that championship they've both been waiting for.

In the past, balls would bounce or drop in the Yankees favor, a la, the Todd Zeile near homerun in Game 1 of the 2000 World Series. Umpire calls would also seemingly go in favor of the Yankees everytime. That's why many people actually believe that God is a Yankee fan. I was hollering at the televison when Robinson Cano was called out of the baseline in last night's game. It was one of the worst calls I had ever seen.

Why bring the Mets up? Like I said before, the Mets are a team on the come. We still have major holes in our team, so making the playoffs this season was not a priority. Seeing progress in our young players and getting back to respectability was. Very rearly does a team that was 20 games under .500 the previous season make a dramatic turnaround and make the playoffs and/or win a championship the next season. Yankee fans around the city constantly knock our team so it's only fair to give it back to you guys. It's all in good fun. Did you see the headline on the back page of the NY Daily News? I laughed my ass off when I saw it. It's so true. The Yankees need to stop plucking players off the All-Star team and start getting players who know how to play the game the right way. I think they've forgotten how they won their championships. The Angels and the Cardinals have those types of players on their teams.

At least they made it to the playoffs? You sound like Knick fan. How can a Yankee fan be content with them just making the playoffs. With a $210 million playroll and a first round exit all Yankee fans should be embarassed at the way the team underperformed this postseason. Let's clear this up. IT-WAS-A-JOKE. :trout: OriginalSin is Ms. Yankee on this board and when they get eliminated she said that she was also a LA Angels fan. I just thought that was funny. I've never met a Yankee fan that had another favorite team. Yankee fans are hardcore, well, at least some of them are. There are many frontrunning fans roaming the NYC streets.

Hey, your not allowed to have two favorite teams. You either like the Yankees or you don't. Anyway, can Arod be anymore predictable? When Jeter hit the single in top of the 9th, I said to my friend, "I will bet you that Arod hits into a double play.". A few moments later, 6-4-3 double play. The curse of Arod continues....
