  5. thanks for the tweets and pics, ox.
  6. The bit about Daniel Day Lewis was hilarious as well and the xanax/e-cigg was so funny too. The whole interview was great. I just wish it could have been longer.
  7. Man, watching Leo live is priceless... he's hilarious! Loved when he imitated Scorsese, and LOL at people on the hotel wanting him to make the "king of the world scene".
  8. Wolf made more than 1 million in Brazil which is a LOT here considering this movie is not a blockbuster and it's still on theaters. I'am very happy for that!
  9. thanks all for the updates! I don't know if this interview was posted before... but Leo talks about Lupita Nyong'o at the end, very nice. http://www.eonline.com/videos/217617/leo-dicaprio-praises-lupita-nyong-o
  10. edited: just saw the article was posted on the main thread.
  11. Omg, this article says everything. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/michael-russnow/leonardo-dicaprio-oscar-best-actor_b_4801436.html And some people might think about this bit of the article: Through it all, he has mostly been acclaimed for quirky dramatic performances until finally his well-known personal impishness came forth comedically in The Wolf of Wall Street. Leo displayed so many facets, delivering emotional high points while also sometimes hysterically funny, that I wonder if his excellence has become so expected we don't realize how different the role is and what a masterful actor he truly is in this movie for which he was honored with his fourth Oscar nomination. And that's it, I don't have nothing more to say in regards to Oscar. Leo's my winner... whatever happens.
  12. WOW, ox, thanks a lot to post that article about Gilbert Grape, great read indeed.
  13. Another video from Bafta: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtrQFzMMPTQ
  14. Now, this is CORRECT! Loved him blowing a kiss for the camera, he looked so handsome and adorable as always.
  15. And I understand when people say that Mathew reinvented himself because it's a true fact he used to do silly comedies in a not remote past... so my congrats for him to chance his career in another direction. But I see in Leo's case a similar thing, I mean Leo has been in such sucessful movies recently but apart from Calvin Candie that already brought some kind of humor and maybe his Frank Abagnale in CMIYC... but his other characters has been all dramatics. So this time Leo came with something new, a humor I never saw him doing in any other performance, a physical performance I never saw before, apart from his powerful acting on this movie and I'am not saying this because I'am his fan, I'am saying because I was impressed while watching him, I was like: "this is another side of leo", it's another level of acting. If it's about to prove something different, Leo has proved as well. Not disrespecting any of the other conterders for this year Oscar race and I'am sure all of them deserve the award, but it really makes me a bit bored when people say it's not Leo's year... why not? Why it's always the other actor time... Leo's turn never comes... it always have someone that was "better than him" or "deserved more than him". This bothers me. I respect other people opinion and different points of view, still this is how I honestly feel.
  16. Well, I can't say nothing in regards to Mathew's performance in Dalla's Buyers because I didn't saw yet... but everything I hear is that he will win because of his weight loss. Off course it's a part of his work composition, but for me the most important thing is the ACTING, not if the actor lose or gain weight, I mean if loss of weight is more impressive than his performance and he's going to win because of this... that's absolutely not fair. I can't give my own opinion of his performance yet since I have to watch the movie first, but I've seen critics saying Chitewel and Leo deserves more than him, but IDK what academy members think. I can say the part Mathew did in Wolf was great, really great. But I can't help but say Leo's performance in Wolf was just terrific, it's brilliant and fearless and if he wins it will be VERY WELL DESERVED.
  17. Pre- Bafta party is happening but I don't know if Leo will attend.
  18. Wolf Lego poster. and one more pic from his interview on CBS.
