Let me answer this quick: Why do they focus on new girls: press (Cara), brand longevity (Barbara, Sara, Jac) Lais broke her foot: dramaaaaaaa, also, heavily used contracted catalogue girl, makes her relatable, but she's too much of a PR flop to be an Angel, Adriana is enough Why don't they talk about the older girls: all the Angels had a decent speaking role. Sure some were omitted here and there but as you said, we pretty much know everything there is to know at this point, so all they really do is spit out the lines VS feed them Gay dad/Lesbian mom: no one curr, it's 2013. English music: Guess what: Neon Jungle (not Fire) are English, so they just were a few segments late. Elsa has a great ass: I agree.

Her 15th anniversary is about now actually. She shot her first commercial with VS (the Cotton one with Laetitia and Heidi IIRC) in late 1998 and it aired in early 1999. They always refer to it as her first job, meaning it happened before the VSFS 1999 which was held on Feb 3. 1999. Counting castings and the holidays, I doubt it happened in the short remaining 1999 window. Her 15th anniversary as an Angel would be some time after May 18, 2015 considering she was reportedly hired as Angel "after the Cannes fashion show" with no clear date given (and oddly being omitted in the, albeit brief, 2001 opening which featured Gisele, Daniela, Tyra & Heidi). Also, Lindsay is getting married next summer, so she's definitely getting the Fantasy bra, the PR blitz has already begun.

I personally think that it's Doutzen's call to work less with VS rather than the other way around. She chooses to spend more time with her family and that's OK.

Barbara F has done some catalogue work for VS but not much so far. She has been seen at a photoshoot on the beach recently but I'm not sure if it was for VS swim or not.

Oh, there are definitely some models who don't like one another. Chanel didn't seem to be very liked by some of the models and Candice and Lindsay always come off very frosty towards each other, which is why I was surprised that they were seated next to each other at this year's viewing party.

They call the runway models Angels. Not all the models. And I'm waaaayyyy too lazy to count the Americans and Brazilians.

Also, stop touching the damn piano! Damn these girls love swaying their trains.... Segment 2: Release Lily? El Oh El! I'd get stuck on a deserted island with Lindsay and Alessandra. My mistake, she didn't look that French to me. FMD lists her ethnicity as "Italian/Congolese", so she's an import. I'd rather have that Jablonski girl (Constance? Jacqueline?). Such a French name, right? And IKR? Next thing you know they'll have German people walking the show. Could you imagine? Either way, I hope VS does the wise thing and edits everyone but Cindy out of that segment.

So I need to get this off my chest (which, you may very well assume is looking plumper than usual thanks to a VS two-cup push-up): Victoria's Secret is so RACIST! I mean, the whole Wild Things debacle was bad enough, then came Karlie's Thanksgiving but right now they didn't just cross the line, they catwalked all over it in classy 6'' heels. I count a grand total of 0. ZERO. Zee Ee Ar Oh. French models in the Parisian nights runway section. It is a severe case of Frenchface and I cannot condone it. Like hasn't VS learned by now that only Black people can portray black culture, Natives native culture and French french culture? And that people don't like blondes (and yes, I know this is completely besides the point, but can this ever be pointed out too often? I think not.) And then they added insult to injury by having them walk to the beat of a Molly Cyrus song. Like couldn't they use a song from France's vast repertoire like Edith Piaf's or Daft Punk's? No, they had to use that of a culture appropriating twerking tomboy with hypoglossal nerve deficiency. We don't even let people express their cultures in France! And then there's the fact that this reinforces the Lido®-Moulin Rouge®-Crazy Horse® stereotype that Paris is full of sluts and French women put out all the time. They are even, get that, parading in lingerie! Get it right VS, since Sarkozy, the prostitutes have been relegated to the suburbs and the forests! French women have class and dignity. Nabilla Benattia is Swiss, not French, Goshdangit! I will never, ever get back together watch the VS show ever again, now! BTW, does anybody know when it airs in France, I need to set up my Tivo.
