The issue with Lindsay is that VS never quite figures out what they want to do with her. They don't want to Candice her and they don't want to ditch her either. She was starting to be promoted in late 2009 alongside Emanuela but then for some reason, they decided to drop her and spent a lot of time promoting Candice, Rosie, Chanel, Erin and even Lily instead. Then when they rehired her because Rosie ditched them, all the other girls had an established identity and Lindsay didn't. She never quite got an opportunity to connect with the audience the way the other Angels did. Yet, because she is, I guess, one of their better sellers and spokesperson they keep on using her, putting her on the backburner and bringing her back to fill in for whomever has left before she has. Doutzen and Alessandra may have a lighter schedule, but VS has at least established them, while Lindsay got the short end of the stick and was lost among a sea of new recruits to face the social media era. Elsa is a whole different case. VS has spent the last 3 years whoring her up to their young customers, like they did with Behati before her, of course she will have a heavy following. PINK is their biggest seller and she had a crapload of events with them.

Could it be that Lindsay is finally doing stuff outside of VS?

There's no such thing as a "natural" weight. And Lindsay > Life > French Fries > Erin.

Yep. She is one of their main Swim girls this year, being featured in the videos and all that.

So Chanel is back all over VS's website? How do y'all feel about that?

Well, she still has the best body out of all the Angels.

Weren't Izabel and Selita the original faces of VSX? And then they relaunched it later on.

She looks hot in that video. I hope VS keeps using her for VSX, I think she's pulling it off rather well so far.

I personally think that the problem lies in the fact that VS doesn't view Lindsay as selling the same type of stuff as Candice and the likes. Just like they have Elsa for PINK or Doutzen/Adriana for VSX, Lindsay is a girl they used more for loungewear, sleepwear, beauty and not over the top sexy lingerie or swim. They tried it, it didn't work, so they have her shoot a few styles that cater to her client base, but they use girls like Candice, Alessandra or Gracie who sell to a wider swim crowd for most of the bikinis.

I meant she shot only one suit for the catalogue (well, technically she shot like 3, but there's one that they keep on 'shoping : same beach, same suit, different base color). The rest they used for the video. That's because before that, the last time VS used her for swim, the bathing suit she wore flopped hard. Then again, it was uglee.

Last year she shot one suit that was shopped to look like a dozen (pretty much like her Valentine's Day pic this year) and few videos. I guess we'll have to wait for the videos. Anyways here a bunch of Madoff BTS shots, some may be reposts

Last I checked, Chanel didn't hit menopause or get pregnant. Unless she has Cushing's syndrome or sth, I don't see why she would get "curvier" at her age, aside from a diet change.

I think Sara is out of the running because she never was the main PINK girl and VS seems to have moved on from promoting her as one. She always played second fiddle to Elsa.

Maybe. Either way Sara and Jessica are out of the running.

I think VS is waiting for Elsa's contract to be over to start transitioning her into mainline. Then Monika will take over PINK.

So, is the Vanity Fair thing with Jimmy Fallon supposed to be a VS tie-in? If so, why does it feature Chanel, Erin and Elsa?

Her talk spot was very obviously edited but I still hope she makes it to Angel status one day.

Lol at them putting VS in the headline when she worked for them over 4 years ago and even then not that much. But she seems cool.
