The situation with Marisa was simple: after Tyra left they had no US Angel on their roster, it created some backlash during the 2006 VSFS and VS decided to hire an American quickly. I'm guessing Marisa got the spot because they had a longstanding Relationship with her and she was a hell of a spokesperson. ETA: New Girl means nothing. Toni, Katsia and the likes lso got a New Girl/New Face spot and nothing came out of it.

I saw Sara when she was running with Shanina (and their trainer) on the Hudson River Pier when I was taking a walk with my roommate. Sara is really sweet; I spoke to her in Portuguese so she was able to express herself well. She has a striking face, and a friendly demeanor. She's pretty short in person too, she doesn't have that 'lankiness' that other models usually have. But overall she's really pleasant! Models look lanky because they are. The only fullness they have is because of bra stuffing and photoshop, lbr. Speaking of bra-stuffing, where did the implants go?

I like sporty Doutzen. And I think she fits a sportwear much better than Candice ever did/will.

I still can't comprehend how she didn't do either the VS or the Etam FS. Hopefully she'll do Calzedonia.
