I do like Behati's personality, I just don't think she fits what I see as a VS model personality-wise. Also, I have read a lot of postive comments about Erin's personality. Lindsay, not as much, but I do like her personality nonetheless.

Indeed, I personally find Lily kind of depressing, but she does seem relatable as she is kind of an everyday girl. It's not what VS usually sells with though... Don't be a Tyra, everyone has a personality, just not necessarily an excessively outgoing one. At least they don't spit out rehearsed speeches or sleezy-double entendeurs all the time unlike Candice and to an extent Rosie and actually convey a sense of who they are aside from their job as walking-talking Barbie dolls. They did have girls like Tyra and Stephanie in the beginning, then (like the whole fashion world) they went for the Brazilians.And Behati, while very charming, is IMO better suited for PINK than VS, which VS seems to have picked up on.

Again, Rosie is an Angel. She's just currently "on leave" because she was filming Transformers, that's why, I guess, Lindsay is currently occupying the free VS Angel slot. In Candice's defense, it's not that she has only five pose, it's that VS as a whole only uses five poses. They used to be classy, now they're just repetitive and borderline trashy. (Most of) their models still look good though.

I *think* it went something like: VS gets rid of Izabel, Karolina & Selita. Then they open their facebook and realize that 6 Angels isn't gonna cut it for a big audience, especially when they keep going on maternity leaves. So: 1) They call Behati an Angel 2) They bring in Emanuela, Lindsay, Rosie and Candice, their rising stars, as well as Chanel, whom Ed wanted to sign since she was like 14, as their new faces 3) Emanuela can't do the show, so they credit Erin instead, Chanel gets forgotten along the way 4) Marisa's contracts runs out, they cut her from everything VS, then negotiate some kind of deal to feature her during the swim campaign and not waste to much film/money 5) The Swim & BBV campaigns lead to them adding Lindsay, Rosie and Candice to their Angel/Supermodel/Whatever-the-kids-call-it-these-days line-up 6) 3 weeks later, the Nakeds campaign comes up and Chanel and Erin are added as well 7) Rosie, Candice & Lily do Very Sexy V 8) Rosie gets the co-lead role in Transformers 9) New semi-annual sale commercial featuring the new girls, Adriana and Doutzen 10) Doutzen and Miranda are announced as preggers 11) Incredible campaign, Canada openings, Lindsay starts falling off the face of the VS Earth and only appears in archive footage & print, Lily rises 12) Bombshell tour with Erin, Candice, Lily & Adriana 13) Heidi announces she quits 14) Lily is added to the Angel/Supermodel/BombshellWhatever-the-kids-call-it-these-days line-up 15) Marisa announces she quits 16) The VS show rolls around, Adriana, Alessandra, Behati, Candice, Rosie, Erin, Chanel & Lily are deemed Angels, Lindsay, Izabel, Selita, Karolina & oddly Jessica Stam get extra time at the photo-op as former faces 17) GQ puts Erin, Candice, Lily and oddly Lindsay on their cover 18) I type this tl;dr post Emanuela, Gracie: not Angels, never were, just did some campaigns, like about a dozens of models before them. In any case, VS is over the 2000-2007-ish "silent models" phase. I mean Selita, Marisa, Miranda, Rosie, Lindsay, Chanel, Erin and Lily all come from countries where English is the official language, while Doutzen, Behati & Candice grew up in countries where people usually speak English rather well. The models speak more in the recent campaigns than they used to, so I guess this explains that.

Such a powerful written book I still have chills when I think about the chapter about how she and her grandma would drink coffee together (and eat cupcakes, lots of it) and how she decided to become a model because of one the discussions they had while doing it. I hear there's an adaptation in the works. The teaser should be out anyday now!

I think there's one thing we shall will would should can could may might agree on, it's that Adriana made it to where she is at VS because of her adequately sized mammaries and striking look moreso than because of her rhetorics and eloquence.
