Germany crushed Ecuador 3-0 and Sweden! My goodness! I swore it was going to be 1-1 then Gerrard scored and I was so pissed <_< . But Larsson scored too, and I was so relieved. Can't have England breaking the record now, Sweden vs Germany is going to be really tough because Germany so good, and I have no idea who I want to get through because I like both teams about equally, too. Plus I might not even get the chance to watch it, I think I'll be out then. But that's neither here nor there. I was disgusted by Rooney's hissy fit on being subsitituted - what's that all about? If you can't take being substituted, following the coach's orders (no matter how inept he is) - and it's for the good of your stupid foot anyway - then you shouldn't play. Period. Walcott, though, I pity him so much. He's never going to get a game unless England are 3-0 up with 15 minutes to go (how likely will that be?!) which means he'll never play, and with Owen out (I feel bad though because I laughed at him at first, I thought he just lost his balance. Then I realised he was in so much pain ), Eriksson's plan has backfired because he only has Crouch and Rooney now (we won't include Walcott for the reason above). But what's new?
