  1. That is very cool! Very very nice. Did you have a print made and scan the print, or scan the film? Was it Ektachrome?

She walks in a couple of the Academy of Art Graduation Fashion Shows. She opens the 2015 show if I remember correctly.
  3. Not Stephanie Seymour. It does look like Ritts work. Maybe Carré Otis.
  4. You post a lot of nice work. My compliments. I liked the vintage ads a lot. In the panel, the image in the middle row on the right (cupcakes) appears to have been horizontally flipped.
  5. I don't have my Avedon books anymore. But my recollection is some of these Versace shots were in a book like The Naked & the Dressed.
  6. You might enjoy Michael Gross' book, Model: The Ugly Business of Beautiful Women. https://www.alibris.com/search/books/isbn/9780062067906?browse=1&mtype=B
  7. You know that Sport magazine, a competitor to Sports Illustrated through the 90s, also had a swimwear issue, and that Cindy was in that? The year after she was in SISE. Crawford I mean, not Margolis. Margolis would also be in it but later.
  8. Yes agree. I believe Renard did all her calendars. Her Sports Illustrated stuff was not as good. Same exact concept but her work with Renard was consistently better, and for several calendars. Ritts & Crawford was a good analogy. Especially as they teamed for Playboy, and she could have picked Glaviano or D'Orazio obviously. Though I think Cindy did great work with Newton and Skrebneski and Weber as well.

  13. Leaving Las Vegas. One-third of the book is very very good (in my opinion), one-third of it is okay, one-third of it seemed incomplete/needed editing. Great movie. Goldfinger. Parts of the book are just fine, but parts of it I also found a bit offensive. Love the movie. Memento the film I think is better than Memento Mori the short story. It happens I'm reading Planet of the Apes right now (the 1963 novel by Pierre Boulle). I just started it, but so far it's good. Better than the remake for sure (so far), but I love the original film. I want to read Cool Hand Luke. That's on my list. A lot of the noir films could fit. If you don't like the writer's style, then you'll probably prefer the movies. Maltese Falcon or A Gun for Sale for example. I'm just not a huge fan of Dashiell Hammett or Graham Greene, for example, but love those movies.
  14. You might search for posts from capt_bob, or send him a PM maybe. I don't know if there's anyone who posts more VS catalog stuff from the 90s, and he will typically post several different versions of the same image. I sometimes also see him on bwgreyscale. http://www.bwgreyscale.com/message_board/index.php
  15. Thanks for posting! They say the exhibit is coming to the Getty in Los Angeles (a really nice museum) next year as well. That would be a bit of a drive, but so tempting.
  16. One more. Thought a couple of these were pretty good, especially the 1st. Cartoon sketches/caricatures of Claudia: http://www.ict4us.com/popular/caricatures/...laudia+Schiffer But the one with the CHANEL logo is
