I think when they create a magazine and need a photo to illustrate an article, they just take any photo that suits the style from the magazine's archive from any photo session.The editor doesn't care who is in the photo, the main thing is that you don't have to pay for it because it was from the archive. that's how it was in Russian Cosmo in the past
