Yes, Rihanna was rude with Kendall on twitterYou guys really think Rihanna cares THAT much about Kendall to give up performing at the VSFS?! Damn I didn't know it was that bad haha. To me VS casting Kendall is a sign that they finally caved into the "social models" trend. About a year too late.

Do you guys think VS casted Kendall last minute to make up for the fact that Rihanna is out? Or was she in all along?

+1 Cant figure why they kept her and dropped Gigi +2 From what I've heard from a model close with Rachel Hilbert, is that the VS team thought Gigi lacked enough energy to be a good fit for PINK. They chose Rachel over Gigi. There may have been other reasons (maybe $$$ as well), but I know that Gigi's lack of energy was a factor. Having met both Gigi and Rachel, I can definitely say that Gigi is more mellow and laid back while Rachel is more outgoing and in-your-face. Although Gigi is 100x more attractive in my opinion.

I don't see Rachel going into mainline at ALL. I really hope they find a better model. Her face is just...of putting. Body nothing special either. She's fine for PINK though.

Rihanna!!! How does this give off Rihanna though. Because she's mostly known as Rihanna, not Rihanna Fenty. The "last names sorta optional" is definitely alluding to her and The Weeknd. The fact that they wrote it as last nameS makes it clear it's more than one performer without a last name, I think. So far the combo of Rihanna, Selena, and The Weeknd checks all the boxes. Let's see if they surprise us. It also goes with the clue of "3 Megastars." I doubt VS would consider Nick Jonas a megastar. We just need a clue now that confirms The Weeknd. I feel like Selena and Rihanna have basically been confirmed.

If only "one of them" is no stranger to the show, that implies that the other two are new. I would definitely say that Rihanna is in, but only because Candice and Behati have bene talking a lot about Rihanna in interviews for the past few months. I could totally see them bringing back RiRi for the 20th show as she was great in 2012 and all the models seemed to love her. Taylor is out because of her show in China. So basically the 3rd performer is a girl with a name with three syllables who has done the show before, and who isn't from the USA or Canada. (if you assume it's Selena Gomez and the Weeknd)

So it's Selena, The Weeknd, and one last girl. Pleas please let it be Beyoncé or Rihanna.

The good news is we are only getting 3 performers. Last year was way too much with 4 (Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Hozier, and Ariana). And if one of the performers only does PINK, that leaves 2 for the rest of the segments! Not bad. My guess is The Weeknd, Selana Gomez, and Nick Jonas (who will perform in PINK like JBiebz). If The Weeknd is performing, Bella Hadid will get casted (just like Anne V. in 2011). And if Bella is casted, it's safe to say Gigi will likely be too. and if Gigi is casted, Kendall isn't a long shot...

Candice has actually been oddly quiet.

I highly doubt Toni will return. She's barely working in general anymore and VS always likes to use girls that are current in the HF scene. For example, when Hilary Rhoda returned on the HF scene (after dropping a shitload of weight, unfortunately) VS casted her right away. Same with Eniko last year. If VS is gonna go for a "golden oldie," I could see girls like Trentini, Poly, or Isabeli having a better shot since they at least walked a full fashion month and have had a constant stream of work. I also pray that Raquel gets casted at least once more; her opening at Versace was on point. I'm actually pretty impressed with how many of #TheNewestAngels have realized that to stay relevant they can't rely solely on VS. Jasmine, Stella, Martha, Kate, and Taylor have all walked a pretty steady stream of shows. Taylor is absolutely killing it, especially. Jac, Sara, Elsa, and Lais haven't done much, but they are definitely pretty established in print. Even Behati and Lily walked more shows this season than ever before (not including Behati's HF days). I'm not surprised that Candice didn't walk as much. She's definitely "over it" and just wants the VS check IMO. Also, VS is totally gonna last Binx and Lexi in PINK. I can already see it. Anna Ewers will probably be thrown in. Gigi and Bella also have a fair shot. They absolutely killed it in terms of bookings. I'm just not sure if VS will want them considering they have more voluptuous bodies than the typical girls they cast. I'm pretty sure Kendall's chances are over too. If they wanted her, she would have been casted by now.

I wonder if the new 'it-girls' like Lexi Boling, Mica, Binx, and Anna Ewers will walk? Out of those, I'd love to see Binx in PINK and Anna in mainline.

If we are to have any veterans return, I would love to see Raquel, Poly, or Caroline Trentini. They all have KILLER walks. No thank you to Lindsay returning. She doesn't add anything and is super forgettable on the runway. Replace her with Sasha Luss please! Also I don't wanna be rude, but if Gigi doesn't lose weight, she's not walking this year's show. Her whole schpiel about being judged for her body is gonna be super hypocritical if she drops a ton of weight for VS.

I tried to see Irina after Cushnie et Ochs but I missed her! Next time hopefully! Sara I've met and she's incredibly sweet and talkative. Love her. I haven't spoken to Nina but I've seen her a few times. From what I've heard she's very nice and fan friendly. Took this shot of her though!

Hey guys! So over this past NYFW I got to meet and mingle a bit with some of the #TheNewestAngels and other VS models! I'll give you some of my impressions. Also, my observations are based on my own encounters. Not trying to define someone's entire personality here. _______________ (no picture because I hate how it came out haha) Kate G - mehhh. I understand English isn't her first language but she wasn't friendly at all and was super reluctant to pose for a picture. She had a "whatever" attitude Taylor Hill - So sweet! She was very humble and really friendly. Absolutely beautiful in person and very soft spoken. She glowed. Dani Braga - THE NICEST PERSON IN THE WORLD. She was soooo amazing with me. Bae for sure. We spoke for a bit and she's super smiley, energetic, and a bit loud lol. She gave me a hug and a kiss which was really sweet and above and beyond for a fan. Huge supporter of her now! Cindy Bruna - Total sweetheart. She's soft spoken but super sweet and smiley. Blanca Padilla - On the quieter side but she's friendly. She so stunning in person too. A bit alien like actually! Martha Hunt - Cool chick! She's really fun to talk to and super friendly. Shanina Shaik - Great with fans! She's not very talkative but she's nice.

I want Lily to get it because if it's not now, it's never. It would be a great way to send her off if she really is leaving VS soon. What I think will happen: Adriana or Candice > Lily or Behati >>>>>>> #TheNewestAngels

I mean I could see VS having a problem with the smoking when they want all their girls to promote VSX so much, as if they use it in their personal lives too. Smoking + fitness/health doesn't really go together.

How has VS not called her?! Hopefully Sara can get her the hook up haha. She'd be a better angel than many of their #TheNewestAngels

Lais is so perfect. She's so likable and absolutely stunning. It's a shame that her soft spoken personality isn't appreciated as much. But then again, Candice also has a similar disposition and she's pretty big. If VS gives her the proper push she could definitely be as big as Candice. I'm clueless as to why VS made Kate an angel. She's gorgeous and super sweet and intelligent to have learned English so quick, but she's not ready at all.

Yeah in 2008 the girls were all given different hair styles which was cool. But I agree, I can't see it happening anymore. I think the best hair was in 2005. I love how all the girls had looser, more "beachy" curls but still a lot of volume and length. I feel like it's so pedestrian now.
