i'm really happy to see him with hildamay. i don't want to be rude but hildamay's members are really more "professional" than snish's members. only to see their myspace friends... snish has photographers and hildamay has Rock Sound... and i'm sure they have already try to send demo at the rock magazins etc... and same thing for lastfm... even if it's not very "popular" for the moment it will be very positive for the futur... if one day they will add the "similar artists" i know that's better to be "unique" but there are too much unknown "unique" artists... they feel more mature! they know want they want and they do all their possible to have it. snish is more "passive" i hope it will be a positive experience for Josh, for snish and for hildamay of course.

  15. I think your question is wrong. Maybe you should ask “which decade was the best from the musical industry” But it’s hard to compare the 60’s and the 90’s.. During the 60’s it was very expensive to record an album and same thing for bands’ tours! Plane was really more expensive than now. ditto for the public/fans! if you if bought the “wrong” CD you lost your money… radio and tv was very limited… musical magazines too! they focused on Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Cat Steven, The Doors, Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, Black Sabbath etc etc etc So people bought their albums and bands who hadn’t the luck to be on the radio/magazines/tv stayed unknown from the public. actually they are always unknown because it’s like the old movies…They are somewhere in a box, in a hidden place, they are half destroy and they will stay hidden forever. Now, the actual music is on internet and there are so different labels… And now we had forgotten the bad old bands/music… when labels know a kind of music has success they focus on this music… so it’s hard to create something new and become famous in same time… or you need to be a very lucky person! But sometimes people have luck! By the way I think musicians, their art, their music is influenced by their favorite bands/music and in the 60’s there wasn’t music as the Hip-Hop, Electronic, New Wave, Trip-Hop, Hardcore, Mathrock (limited at Frank Zappa and it was more an experimental music than Mathrock), Metal, Grunge, techno etc etc etc I think the best decade for the music is now… because now if people don’t take care of the radios, magazines and TV they are totally free and they can listen what they want, when they want. For the musical industry/talent I will say the best decade was the 60’s. And about my personal taste I will say 1985/1995 (I know this is not a decade but this is 10 years…)

i wanted to post more but i choose the softest for the first part and i hadn't time to put the nude picture. "unfortunately" in 90% of his work there are nude people... and i deleted the cadaver/beheaded pictures because i saw bellazon doesn't accept them... his work is so incredible. very beautiful... he used the sexuality, the people "fears" without vulgarity... i'm totally in love with his work. it's just fabulous. the 18, 19,20, 21 and 22 pictures come from his fashion work for New York Time magazine. it's totally different of his normal work but i think the reasult is very interesting. and lol, i didn't see the penis on this picture XD moderator won't be happy XD and i just discover there is a panis on the second picture two... at the beggining i thought it was the man intestine or a mini leg... as a parasite siamese but no, it was his penis... the nude pictures/draws http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL27915.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL29276.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL36421.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL36419.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL34184.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL34183.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL34182.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL34180.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL34179.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL34027.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL33804.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL32854.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL32580.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL32709.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL31939.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL31937.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL05702.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL05722.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL05724.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL05725.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL05731.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL05738.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL06068.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL06075.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL06245.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL06435.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL06478.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL06798.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL06986.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL07687.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL07853.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL08631.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL08646.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL10346.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL14263.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL17839.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL19754.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL25163.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL25317.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL25356.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL25825.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL26444.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL56449.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL27630.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL27901.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL29217.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL29218.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL29222.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL29272.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL29273.JPG http://www.baudoin-lebon.com/upload/oeuvre/BL31190.JPG i will put the rest later

  18. http://www.davidknipper.com/famous_person/...peterwitkin.jpg HOTLINKING Please do not hotlink from another person’s website, If you're not sure what hotlinking is, please visit this page for more information. http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?showtopic=22405 **edited by MauiKane Joel-Peter Witkin is a photographer whose images of the human condition are undeniably powerful. For more than twenty years he has pursued his interest in spirituality and how it impacts the physical world in which we exist. Finding beauty within the grotesque, Witkin pursues this complex issue through people most often cast aside by society -- human spectacles including hermaphrodites, dwarfs, amputees, carcases, people with odd physical capabilities, fetishists and "any living myth... anyone bearing the wounds of Christ." His fascination with other people's physicality has inspired works that confront our sense of normalcy and decency, while constantly examining the teachings handed down through Christianity. His constant reference to paintings from art history, including the works of Bosch, Goya, Velasquez, Miro, Botticelli and Picasso are testaments to his need to create a new history for himself. By using imagery and symbols from the past, Witkin celebrates our history while constantly redefining its present day context. Visiting medical schools, morgues and insane asylums around the world, Witkin seeks out his collaborators, who, in the end, represent the numerous personas of the artist himself. The resulting photographs are haunting and beautiful, grotesque yet bold in their defiance a hideous beauty that is as compelling as it is taboo. Witkin begins each image by sketching his ideas on paper, perfecting every detail by arranging the scene before he gets into the studio to stage his elaborate tableaus. Once photographed, Witkin spends hours in the darkroom, scratching and piercing his negatives, transforming them into images that look made rather than taken. Through printing, Witkin reinterprets his original idea in a final act of adoration. Joel-Peter Witkin lets us look into his created world, which is both frightening and fascinating, as he seeks to dismantle our preconceived notions about sexuality and physical beauty. Through his imagery, we gain a greater understanding about human difference and tolerance.
