Good Movies That Aren't Popular But Are Must-Sees
The Last Laugh (1924) german silence film directed by F. W. Murnau Plot : Jannings' character, the doorman for a famous hotel, is demoted to washroom (bathroom) attendant, as he is considered too old and infirm to be the image of the hotel. He tries to conceal his demotion from his friends and family, but to his shame, he is discovered. His friends, thinking he has lied to them all along about his prestigious job, taunt him mercilessly while his family rejects him out of shame. The man, shocked and in incredible grief, returns to the hotel to sleep in the bathroom where he works. The only person to be kind towards him is the night watchman, who covers him with his coat as he falls asleep. Following this comes the film's only title card, which says: "Here the story should really end, for, in real life, the forlorn old man would have little to look forward to but death. The author took pity on him and has provided a quite improbable epilogue." At the end, the doorman reads in the newspaper that he inherited a fortune from an American millionaire named A. G. Money, a patron who died in his arms in the hotel bathroom. Jannings returns to the hotel, where he dines happily with the night watchman who showed him kindness. It is this ending that inspires the English language title. Murnau noted that the story was absurd on the grounds that "everyone knows that a washroom attendant makes more than a doorman.

The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore (2011) american animated movie directed by William Joyce and Brandon Oldenburg The film has received 14 awards, including the Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival, "Best Animated Short" at the Cinequest Film Festival, and the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. plot : Morris Lessmore sits on a balcony in the French Quarter of New Orleans writing his memoir. Suddenly a hurricane strikes, blowing Morris’s writing out of the book and blowing him off the balcony. While Morris frantically grabs for his book, the hurricane blows away the buildings. After the storm, Morris finds the city and its residents devastated. He walks through the streets strewn with book pages and into the countryside. There he sees a woman fly past, magically suspended by flying books which she is holding with ribbons. She sends one of the books down to Morris. The book’s pages flip back and forth to animate an illustration of Humpty Dumpty, who urges Morris to follow him. The flying book takes Morris to a library where other flying books live. Morris finds no humans there, but notices several portraits on the wall, one of which is the woman he had seen. Morris then becomes the proprietor of the library. He takes care of the books, even saving the life of an early French edition of Jules Verne’s From the Earth to the Moon after it suffers a catastrophic injury falling from a shelf.[Note 1] He also gives out books to those who visit the library from the city still suffering from the effects of the storm. Eventually Morris begins to rewrite his memoir, sharing passages with the flying books who gather around him on the grassy hill opposite the library. Years later Morris, now an old man, finally completes the book. Satisfied with his life’s work, he closes the book and heads for the door. The flying books swirl about him and Morris becomes young again. He then flies away, carried by flying books like the woman earlier. As he departs, his book, which had earlier been a regular book, becomes a flying book like the others, and returns to the library. Just then, a young girl arrives. She sits down on the steps of the library and begins to read Morris's book as the flying books gather around. The final scene shows Morris’s portrait added to the picture wall in the library.

i love him so much than when i posted his pictures i was near to create a thread only for this kind of photographers because of all the pictures i have... i mean, many thousands. but i'm feel to lazy to upload one by one every photo. for the moment bellazon could only be proud to have one of the largest Diane Arbus' collections on internet (maybe the biggest... i never saw a collection as important as mine including on blogs, google gallery, tumblr, auction websites, books or exhibitions). that's enough. The best of the worst
For Y'ur Height Only (1981) filipino movie directed by Eddie Nicart plot : In the film, Weng stars as Agent 00, who is sent to stop the drug trade and its mysterious warlord Mr. Giant. (Giant is a dwarf, while 00 is a midget.) He befriends a woman who, still in the grip of the organization, works as a mole for him. This leads to many battles between 00 and the villain's henchmen. The plot shifts to Mr. Giant's true goal: using the N-Bomb. Created by Dr. Kohler, it is a weapon that does something that is never really explained. Always the company man, Agent 00 takes this story swing in stride and continues to fight the villains. One part early on has him sneaking up on people throughout, which is easy given that he exists just below most people's peripheral vision. Another has him taking on Samurai and with a conveniently-scaled katana sword.
