I agree with you. It's unfortunate that she looks a bit thinner in this photo (and I hope, only in the photo) but I think she does want to try and take on a HF career. I just hope castings went well for her and she gets to do a lot of shows and maybe attempt Milan and Paris. BTW it's not a showcard, but a polaroid they do when they meet models at castings.

Well NY mag said Emily also shot some for VS's Angel collection. I think it's a great Victoria's Secret put her first in more demure lingerie, swimwear and clothing because she's only 18 so I would think it'll be awkward if she wore some of their typical looks (keep in mind that she hasn't done super provocative shoots yet). Also Emanuela is one of their younger models and she didn't have to do the Pink segment either when she did the show for the first time.

I think it's because this event has one of the biggest fashion circle in New York attending but she held out on her own really great! This was her first public event and she showed up looking like a knockout . She got to meet Andre Leon Talley at the event and is moving into her first apartment on Monday (from what modelina said). I'm so stoked that she could do runway for SS10 since Maybelline is replacing MAC as official cosmetics sponsors for NYFW.

I still can't believe he was at least 16 in that photo. God he looked the part of a seasoned professional !
