Great fashion pic from mid 70's. My scan.
  2. This is an interesting interview. Paulina's childhood was even worse than I had read! It is kind of sad the way she says Father #3. This helps me understand her personality better.

Someone already posted a smaller version of this picture, but I thought some people would like to see it full size. My Scan.

Thanks Dayrell.these days I need to be encouraged by my friends!someone tells me: "not post HQ scans,is unfair to those who do not".in other words they want to continue doing copypaste from other sites. -this is a lovingly restored cover, more are damaged and more I feel compelled to repair the damage. for lovers of fashion and models.so that they can download and store in their collection. But this seems to be a fault at least for lovers of trash. In less than three months I gave to Bellazon about 500 scans and was paid with insults and nasty proffered by clowns, puppets and collectors of post. I can't believe anyone would insult you for that! Thanks for all the scans Fender!!

I found this about Roberta Chirko Myers: http://villagegreenpreschool.com/bio.html Roberta Chirko Myers grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago. She then traveled extensively as a fashion model and lived in Paris and New York City from 1983 till 1992. She met her future husband who introduced her to Brown County, IN., and she immediately fell in love with the landscape and the people who lived there. When she and her husband started a family they decided to put down roots in Brown County. Roberta enrolled her son in the Village Green Preschool in 2002. She found that she adored being around children and that children adored her, fondly referring to her as Miss Bert. She was offered an assistant position and accepted it gladly. Roberta's passion shows in her eagerness to help children in a playful, positive way. The 2009/2010 school year will be Roberta's fifth year with Village Green Preschool. Welcome Tyra! Roberta was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and it looks like Pittsburgh is very proud of this ...Never heard of Chicago. Oliviero "found" her in the late eighties and was crazy for her. I will try in the coming days to know more about this musician, Myers-Mayer or whatever. I loved Roberta, I think her career is over because she was essentially a model that expressed herself through the lens of a photographer.the models of the generation coming after were more complete ,could do almost all-there were some exceptions - the catwalk shows. This helps to put an end to many careers:Williams,Chirko et cetera. I'm also really puzzled by that date: 1983. It seems very strange that her career has begun so early. Thanks again for your contribution, Roberta was a very important model: in France and Italy was literally adored. I was looking around for information regarding the present whereabouts of Roberta. I figured the article's information was given by Mrs. Chirko Myers herself but I could be wrong. From what I read about Toby Myers, he had been familiar with Roberta's name and image from the 80's when he would see her on the covers of magazines, which would make sense since she did have a strong cover presence, especially American Elle. Around this time frame, Myers was a member of John Cougar Mellencamp's session band. It just happened that when John Cougar Mellencamp had met Elaine Irwin and had introduced her to his band members, that it occured to Myers to ask about Roberta. According to Elaine, she and Roberta had been roomates in New York City when they were both on the come-up and that there was still some contact between the 2 models. So accounts vary as to Roberta's story and it seems that information in second-hand as there is no direct quotes from Roberta herself. As to where she originally came from, the span of her modeling career, or whatever comes up in internet searches, the information could be right or wrong. In the case of her husband's account, I would take his word for it. But still, it was nice to know that she did something with her life that gave it some meaning beyond the smoke and mirrors that modeling is known for. HiTlover, Thanks again for the interesting information.I hope you will find more. I have some catalog that seems to document an activity of Roberta even after 1992. If you have any information about Susan Miner and Michelle Stevens you I'd be grateful.especially Michelle seems to have disappeared without a trace. Is the Susan Miner you are talking the one who was in that famous Revlon unforgettable women with Janice Dickinson and that Japanese model in the 80's?
  9. I agree. She is only hurting herself in the long run. By the way what was she talking about Spitzer naked in black socks? Who had that picture?

As a guy, I beg to differ. She's not the best, with the freckles all over, (personally), but she still looks pretty good. I have to add something, here. It seems that this site has mostly female members. A lot of times you all talk about what is sexy...and a lot of times you're wrong. Maybe you should get a man's input on what's sexy sometimes. Of course, all men are different, but in general we all have certain guidelines that are commonly accepted. I'm not trying to be nasty, here, I'm just saying that you couldn't possibly know what was sexy to a man without a man to tell you what was sexy to him. Just like a man...we sometimes think we know what's sexy to a woman, so we strut, and pose, and act all macho and do stupid shit to impress you, and we're probably usually wrong. It's like making love to a woman. What I think a woman wants may not be what she really wants, so I learned a long time ago to ask. "Here? There? Faster, slower? Harder, softer?" What I think feels good to a woman may not be what she really wants, so there's nothing wrong with asking her what she likes so I can better please her. The same thing goes for what we both think is sexy to each other. Maybe we should communicate more with each other. No discussion, here, eh? Don't any of you have an opinion on what I said? That's fine, I just like to discuss things like this, that's all. Don't mean to be offensive, or anything, it's just that life is a learning experience, and I still like to learn. So..just why does a woman think she knows what is sexy to a man? Thank you Brian it is always fascinating to hear the difference between what women think is sexy and what men think. As far as what women think men find sexy, it is usually what they {I don't include myself in this} have picked up from the media. If women are portrayed in a certain way and are considered sexy, many women pick this up. But as you said this is not always the case.

I feel compassion for her. Her father is absolutely insane and her mother just exploits her to support the family. She has been exploited by her parents her whole life. She really never had a chance. This reminds me of Michael Jackson. These parents who put their young children in the entertainment industry end up destroying their lives.

It looks like she is a cutter. I am very concerned about this young woman. I wish she would just leave LA and go live somewhere healthier. Those photos she took looking like Marilyn may prove to be prophetic one day. Marilyn died soon after that last photoshoot. I hope Lindsay does not end up the same way.

Yes, she did. You can tell on some of the earlier pictures that were already posted. She does look quite different.
