    Arlene Baxter (born November 27, 1962 in Oceanside, California) is an American model and actress.

    Baxter's modeling career started at the age of 16 when she was discovered by scouts. After doing some local work, offers came in from Europe and Japan. While living in Tokyo for nine months, she modeled in print work and on the runways, as well as appearing in television commercials. After moving back to the States, Baxter worked for Elite Model Management. With Elite, she would travel to Germany, Italy, France and finally New York City, where she lived for the next 10 years.

    Her gorgeous body helped her become a successful model and she worked for such famous brands as Victoria Secret, Saks Fifth Avenue, Avon, Galleries Layfette, Christian Dior, Nordstrom’s, Bloomingdale's and others, and was chosen as Playmate of the Month in the Playboy magazine's December edition in 1993. She appeared in the special editions of Playboy on May 10, 1994 and December 1998. She also did covers for Italian Bazaar, Italian Cosmopolitan and Conde Naste Travelers and French ELLE.

    Arlene also features in the 1989 ELITE swimsuit Calander alongside Stephanie Seymour, Cindy Crawford, Kathy Ireland, Jill Goodacre and Carol Alt.

    Arlene dated actor Nicolas Cage.

    Does anyone have any more info on Arlene? I don't have a lot to post on her right now. I have all of her Playboy pictures but, as I understand it, they cannot be posted on BZ... which is a shame because, sexy nudity or no, she looks gorgeous in them. :whistle:

    Oh, according to People. she is up to star in ' Peepshow' in Las Vegas. Don't know how that will help her career, but it's work!

    To be honest, I only really liked her in her Playboy spread with the red hair. She was SENSATIONAL in those pictures! :drool:

    Also glad to hear the whole sex tape thing was not true. She seems like a smart and cool girl.

    ^ She has in fact gone back to being a redhead just this month ( see the picture I included of her new red hair)

    Yes ( Her beauty really lay in her hair and her eyes, but she was gorgeous for sure, although it's hard to look at her old pictures now without seeing the horrible future that would come! Lol!)

    No ( If she hadn't done all the drugs etc, you just know she would be stunning now but her skin is awful!)

    No ( Although I'm very prepared to be proven wrong. She is only 5"5 though!)

    By voting in this poll you are helping to quell a very big argument between five of my male friends :laugh: They were arguing the other night about whether or not Lindsay Lohan was every hot ( the ratio was 3:2, but I wont tell you which way. Just guess.)

    Anyway, I added the " is she still hot" question because, following the guys debate, I had a peak at Lindsay's thread today and was... shocked, lets say. Furthermore, I was shocked to read she's apparently changing her career to modeling and signing with IMG!

    So, anyway, I think this is an interesting topic. No real harm or offense is meant to Lindsay here. I'm wishing her all the best in getting back on her feet. :heart:

    Lindsay as a model? Interesting... She really doesn't come across as a model to me. I mean, she's a pretty girl but not quite a model, IMO.

    Anyway, I do hope she finds some work. I feel really sorry for her. I've never been a huge fan, but recently it sounds like she's grown up a lot and I really hope the best for her.

    I can never make up my mind about her.

    Why I like her:

    1. She has great fashion sense, although it is slightly overrated.

    2. She's friends with a lot of actors who's personalities I like ( Keira K, James F, Heath L. when he was alive, etc.)

    3. At times she seems very genuine and cool.

    Why I dislike her:

    1. She never comes across well in interviews. Her openness about drinking and doing drugs and men, while perhaps it's not really " her" deep down, just makes her come across as cheap and stupid.

    2. She's very pretty but not as gorgeous as some magazines suggest, and that sort of makes her seem " oversold" ( although that's obviously not her fault)

    3. All the rumors that she's stuck up and can't live without the press. I've read about 50 stories about her throwing hissy fits and being rude and stuck up and setting up situations to be photographed by the paps. Unattractive.

    Anyway, obviously I don't know her and I'm just talking about her celebrity "image", but I really have no idea what to make of her 90% of the time!

    I do think it's a sad thing that she has been so chewed up by the media machine though. People really seem to hate her now!
