Cast for I Love You Ten Million Times I Love You Ten Million Times [천만번 사랑해] is a new SBS weekend drama whose main cast has already been filled by Lee Soo-kyung, Ryu Jin, and Jung Kyeo-woon. I’d noted the interesting-sounding plot when the drama was first announced; it deals with surrogacy and the complications that arise when the surrogate ends up marrying into the family of the infertile couple she is helping out. Adding some color to the younger supporting cast are Super Junior’s resident oddball Kim Heechul and Boys Before Flowers‘ Lee Shi-young (both of whom are known for their rather offbeat “fourth-dimensional” personalities). Heechul plays a cheerful, saucy character who works a part-time job at a restaurant. He has a romantic storyline with Park Su-jin (mehhh), the singer-turned-actress who played Kim Bum’s ex-girlfriend in Boys Before Flowers. Meanwhile, Lee Shi-young plays a woman who works at the information desk at the same office as Ryu Jin. She harbors a crush on him, while he is attempting to have a child with his wife (Go Eun-mi) via surrogate (Lee Soo-kyung); the story hints at a possible affair between him and Lee Shi-young. I’m hesitant about the story (though I like that it’s different), but I like all the actors involved (minus Park Su-jin). Lee Shi-young was much better than expected in BBF, while Heechul has a fair amount of acting experience; his last drama was Golden Bride, and he was quite sweet in Bad Family. Source

2NE1 To Perform Big Bang's "Last Farewell" 2NE1 is really going to attempt Big Bang. 2NE1, who is called female Big Bang, will really attempt Big Bang at SBS 'Inkigayo' on August 9th. The hurricane rookies who shook up the music industry in 2009 will present 'Last Farewell,' 2007's greatest hit song as well as Big Bang's representative song. 2NE1 will re-enact Big Bang's performance with their own character; being a 'girl group,' it is anticipated that they will have a more fresh dance routine and a more stylish performance and are gathering a lot of anticipation and interest. On that day, 'Inkigayo' is preparing a Girl Group Special, as Korea's representative "girl groups" such as Girls Generation, 2NE1, and Brown Eyed Girls will present special performances. In addition, there will a special performance by a project girl group made up of males, called Special VTR 'Girls' Talk' (A parody of 'Global Beauties'). SHINee's Key and TaeMin, 2PM's TaecYeon and WooYoung, and another secret member will come together in a project group and perform Girls Generation's 'Tell Me Your Wish.' Also, rock band F.T Island and Kara, who will transfrom into rocker girls, will meet and sing rock versions of songs, and SHINee will present a sweet proposal performance. Brown Eyed Girls and 4minute will present a cross-dance performance, and Girls Generation will present their last 'Tell Me Your Wish' performance. Source

SNSD Grants Cancer-Fighting Patient's Wish! SNSD members have become wish-granting genies for a little girl. On SBS's 'Park Soohong's Feel Good Mission' that was broadcast on the 5th, SNSD performed a mission for Hyewon (11). Today's heroine is the eleven-year-old Hyewon, who thinks of her family before herself. She used to be as healthy and bright as anybody else. When she was around five years old, her frequent headaches caused her to visit a hospital and she found out that she had a brain tumor. The 6 cm tumor that was lodged in her brain grew bigger by the day, stole Hyewon's vision out of one eye, and eventually stopped the flow of blood in her brain. She has undergone nine surgeries and 15 cancer treatments, but it is not possible to completely remove the tumor that is in contact with her optic nerve. She is in a situation where she does not know when she will lose vision out of her other eye or when she will lose consciousness. The endless fight with her brain tumor has worn Hyewon and her family down to exhaustion. Hyewon's birthday is May 3, but she has not celebrated her birthday for the past six years. She has been unconscious every birthday due to major surgeries, so it is a given that she has never had a birthday party with her friends. Hyewon's sole wish is to see the sea. On the show, SNSD took Hyewon to the sea so she could leave her painful memories there and continue her fight against cancer with courage. In order to show Hyewon the sea, a helicopter and the National Maritime Police Agency were mobilized. An unforgettable birthday party took place with the help of 1,000 people and over 70 billion won's [~$57.12 million] worth of equipment. Hyewon, whose wish was granted, said, "I want to live happily with my family and I love them." The statement made the eyes of her family and others present tear up. SNSD said, "We hope that you can grow up to be a person who can embrace the world. We hope that you forget all your pains and make a complete recovery soon."
