  1. Is that Marie Claire 1988 on eBay?
  2. Thanks Sanja, I knew you'd deliver the goods.
  3. Specdude, do you have a scanner? If so, there is way to separate the pages without damaging the magazine.
  4. yup, that's Vogue UK january 1992, by Sante D'Orazio....don't recall the title of the editorial at the moment though, would have to double check for that No worries. Thanks again.
  5. The set of four street shots, I don't suppose you can recall the magazine and year of publication?
  6. Thank you. I hadn't seen the Walter Chin shot before. One day, I'm going to find a way to scan something with either Yasmeen Ghauri or Gail Elliott that's super-high resolution - big enough to frame on a wall.
  7. Thanks.
  8. Is the attachment the actual size? that's the size it is on D'Orazio's instagram Okay, thanks.
  9. Is the attachment the actual size?
  10. Thanks, Spiral. A very timely post too - given today's news.
  11. Thanks, Sanja. She looks amazing in the polaroid.
  12. That Alessandra guy, the photographer has one of the most hopeless, utterly unuseable interfaces I've ever seen on the web. His pictures are great but whoever designed his site hasn't got a clue.
  13. That's really kind of you but I took the link down. You are the first and only person to even contact me. Sorry, but I don't think it's likely it will happen. I've had no respnses at all (except for you). Thanks again for lending your support.
  14. And please guys, spread the word if you know of others who may not subscribe to Gail's thread but may be interested. Thanks again.
  15. I've been a real fan of Gail Elliott for many years. I found her work as a model to be completely alluring - her beauty is timeless. Still, so little is known about her. How did she get started? What was it like working in the modelling industry back in the 1980s & 1990s? I've always wished that gail would write an autobiography. I think it would be a fascinating insight into the way things once were. With that in mind, I'm thinking about a Kickstarter campaign to raise money that would give Gail the incentive to write it. Imagine all the wonderful photographs that could be included. Maybe even some candids. At the moment, I've no idea how I would go about starting this. Obviously, I cannot contact Gail or her management unless it was a viable proposition. This means I would need to present them with some idea that there is enough interest in this. With that in mind, I am canvassing names and email addresses to get some idea of people's interest. Giving me this information is not any kind of financial commitment on your part. It's simply so I can get an idea of numbers. If you want to add your name and email, I've included a form on my blog. This information is completely confidential. As an additional security measure, you’ll need to pm for a password, this will let you register your interest. I don’t want to deal with people just spamming my site. http://www.jasonnewton.net/kickstarter/ I’ve been on TFS & Bellazon for some years now so I hope people can trust me. Remember, at this stage, it’s for gauging interested numbers of people only. The contact form will remain active for 30 days, after which time it will be removed. Guys, if enough people show an interest, we can make it happen. Best Wishes,
  16. Thanks Cult Icon. Those pictures are just..well, stunning really.
  17. Oh my God, that Van Malder shot. Thanks
  18. Charlotte, get a new agent/manager. This is not the exposure you need. At least for the people who read Vouge etc.
  19. Thanks so much. A bit more tacky than I'd like. She needs a new agent.
  20. Some of those were new to me. Thanks.
  21. Thanks vendelafan. High res scans of Gail are really treasures for me.
  22. Thanks, specdude.
  23. Thanks, Sanja.
  24. I think she's far less tacky than some models on social media - Jessica Gomes & Shanina Shaik come to mind. Endlessly flaunting their latest $3000 handbags, La Praire skincreams or whatever. Also, Charlotte doesn't seem to have fallen prey to just posting banal new-age quotes on her Instagram - many are guilty of that. She also doesn't do the whole 'Modelling is just such a chore, jet lag, boredom' routine such as people like Dominique Piek. Try and remember all the girls who probabaly cannot even get work. I think she looks fantastic and for a twenty-year old, she seemed remarkably well-composed and level headed in that interview. yeah, she's not supermodel material but then I haven't seen a girl in maybe five years who would qualify for that, at least to me. If you look at Kate Upton, her personality and general manner have probably propelled her career where others have failed - even though they might have been even better looking. I hope money and fame don't ruin her.
  25. You don't have to say sorry. They're great pictures.
