I could also see any of these as covers. It's quite a unique and different swim shoot for VS and I like that. It's very editorial so I hope they don't do a standard cover. Who shot these again? It was Hawaii right?

I think Josephine should get the cover. Her shots were the most cover worthy IMO. There was one shot of her looking at the camera and laying on the sand that is perfect for the cover. EDIT This is the photo to which I am referring.

Actually these to me are good and will sell because they're selling the story more then the product. This to me seems like an editorial. The colouring is a bit weird but from a photographers point of view I get it. It works I like it a lot. It's different for VS and isn't just the usual catalog shots in front of the beach. I think when it's all edited together in one of their swim catalogs it will look really cool. They're selling the beach vacation, relaxed nature etc.

I prefer a time when artists didn't need to reinvent themselves to stay mainstream with all the new generation. That's why Adele is actually great. Her music is classic. Girls like Rihanna, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, GaGa have to sell more of a gimmick then music. Not saying there isn't talent there. Because there definitely is. But I miss the days when it was simple. Look at Madonna for example. What in the hell does she do now. All she ever does is try and stay young and with the in crowd and it's a mess. There's always a great way of reinventing your art form. A lot of them did do it. But it was such a unique way. Everyone today is the same. That's why Adele at least stands out from the pack. There's no gimmick there. It's just her and her voice. Completely off topic.

Nice. Lily's shooting something with Testino on the Caribbean. So that's why she had to wrap early. I guess we have to wait and see if they're shooting anything more at the beginning of next year or this is all they're doing. Based on the amount of Jonas in one go it seems they're filming it all now.

VS will do fine. The thing with VS is that no matter what they are a global and well recognised brand. Honestly they could stop using social media and all of that and they'd still do fine. As a retailer people will still go into VS, buy and use their products. That's why they're so comfortable doing the same thing with their marketing, the way they promote girls, shows, catalog, shoots, commercials etc. Because they don't need to reinvent themselves to stay strong. They still sell and they still make money. But I hope that the loss of viewers helps them realise they need to change their tired old formula. I can guarantee you it won't. Because just based on what we've seen with the swim special it's going to be the same as last year. I can tell you now they lost ratings because people can predict everything VS are doing now. We all pretty much guessed that Selena and the Weeknd will be performing this year from months ago. All of us were thinking it would be them, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Ellie Goulding and look they're using Nick too. Obviously these people are in right now but it wasn't enough for people to tune in. Everyone knows what they're gonna show now. Why watch this years show because it'll be the same as last year or the last few years and it is. VS really need to change up their commercials too. Same old thing they do everytime. At least this year they hired awesome new photographers who made the print and catalogs look different. That's one aspect of VS that is interesting right now.

He's also got a hit cable shot called Kingdom about UFC fighting and stuff so yeah he's everywhere. He's done well for himself stepping out of being the Jonas brothers. Of all these young singers I think he's decent. Give me the 90s any day but hey we are stuck with what we are stuck with So if indeed filming is what it is for the swim special then things aren't looking good at all for Kate and Jac. Jac still got a good amount of time in the show though and she's shot recently with them. So it's a bit strange she isn't used. Kate well it's obvious about Kate. But you never know Jac still can show up on the last few days.

I would think Stella is in the inbetween. Because she's still being used with VS and she has a good following on IG.

I'm still a fan of and support Martha and Stella. Probably one of the only ones. As for Behati she was upgraded to angel before she started dating Adam.

I don't think that's Orlando either. Why would Orlando be there lol? Doesn't look like anyone famous. Could be a tour guide or something like that.

I knew Stella would be there. Awesome about Nick Jonas too. Hopefully he is the only performer. I still think they'll split it into two again. Like last year they filmed before and after Christmas.

I agree with what you're saying but I primarily was talking about the same old tired formula of the show they've done since 2010. 2010-2015 all feel like the same show. 2009 was a huge miss still the worst show but at least between 2003-2008 each show felt different and unique. VS mixed it up and changed up the formats between each show. 2010 onwards it's been the same thing over and over again. They need to do angel profiles again like they did in 07. That was awesome and gave a little insight into their Angels. The stupid pathetic inbetween segments about how big the brand is, training, social media, baby angels etc have all been done to death. A simple interview highlighting each girl would be enough.

I like Vita but she's a poor mans Toni Garrn. But I think she does have potential.

Hahahaha gotta love Adriana. I don't think she's tired of VS. She gets that big dolla yo. But these lame segments and stupid stuff like this you can tell she hates. Because when she's doing her normal promo stuff or talking about VS and all the regular stuff she's fine.

I hope people aren't expecting a change though. VS probably think there weren't big enough acts to salvage the show this year so they'll go above and beyond to secure someone even bigger or think Taylor got rating two years in a row let's bring her back. (Totally calling it from now). VS are idiots. They don't think they need to try out a new formula they just think slapping some glue and some glitter over it will fix it. I can guarantee next year will be the same damn formula that the shows been since 2010. Don't expect it to change. If it does I'll be super surprised.
