ugly models
This could be an interesting thread if approached from the technical aspects described: lighting, makeup, etc. However, exercise caution, because model or celebrity bashing violates Bellazon's Rules and Guidelines: No Flaming/Bashing Don't personally attack other members or the staff. We also ask that you please refrain from the bashing of any celebrity, model, and etc. featured on the forum. Bashing includes making offensive comments, or saying something offensive related to a person (i.e. calling someone a slut, a whore, a bitch, etc.). Giving "constructive criticism" of a model such as, specifying that you do not find them attractive because of the length of their nose, or the size of their hips is deemed acceptable but we ask that you please try and refrain from that as well as it still upsets some members. For more details, please check HERE.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers
http://www.rickey.org Golden Globe winner Jonathan Rhys Meyers (“The Tudors”)stars in this provocative new drama as one of the world’s most iconic characters. It’s the late 19th century, and the mysterious Dracula has arrived in London, posing as an American entrepreneur who wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. He’s especially interested in the new technology of electricity, which promises to brighten the night – useful for someone who avoids the sun. But he has another reason for his travels: he hopes to take revenge on those who cursed him with immortality centuries earlier. Everything seems to be going according to plan… until he becomes infatuated with a woman who appears to be a reincarnation of his dead wife. From the producers of the critically acclaimed, Emmy Award-winning hit “Downton Abbey” comes “Dracula,” a twisted, sophisticated and sexy take on Bram Stoker’s classic novel, proving that some stories never die. One-hour drama. http://youtu.be/Z1jVcmDH43Y

BAD NEWS! :atoobie: 'Golden Boy' Canceled: CBS Series Not Renewed For Season 2 5/10/2013 http://www.huffingtonpost.com CBS' "Golden Boy" has been canceled. Starring Theo James and Chi McBride, the series -- which debuted to 10.56 million viewers -- has seen mediocre ratings throughout its first season, bringing in between 7-10 million viewers per episode. "Golden Boy" was truly on the bubble between cancellation and renewal. "Cop dramas are pretty much as old as television itself," McBride, who plays Detective Don Owen, said of the series ahead of its premiere. "But the difference is that this is more about relationships than just the case of the week. The writers do a pretty good job of balancing the procedural and character development. That's the greatest difference in these shows." In addition to "Golden Boy," CBS also canceled "CSI: NY," "Vegas" and "Rules of Engagement" along with the previously canceled freshman series "Made In Jersey" and "Partners."

"Takeshi Kaneshiro dead 2013": Actor killed by internet death hoax By Jessica Simpson May 10, 2013 http://en.mediamass.netNews of actor Takeshi Kaneshiro’s death spread quickly earlier this week causing concern among fans across the world. However, the May 2013 report has now been confirmed as a complete hoax and just the latest in a string of fake celebrity death reports. Thankfully, the actor best known for his roles in Red Cliff or House of Flying Daggers is alive and well. Takeshi Kaneshiro death hoax spreads on Facebook Rumors of the actor’s alleged demise gained traction on Wednesday after a ‘R.I.P. Takeshi Kaneshiro’ Facebook page attracted nearly one million of ‘likes’. Those who read the ‘About’ page were given a believable account of the Japanese actor’s passing: “At about 11 a.m. ET on Wednesday (May 08, 2013), our beloved actor Takeshi Kaneshiro passed away. Takeshi Kaneshiro was born on October 11, 1973 in Taipei. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”Hundreds of fans immediately started writing their messages of condolence on the Facebook page, expressing their sadness that the talented 39-year-old actor and singer was dead. And as usual, Twittersphere was frenzied over the death hoax. Where as some trusting fans believed the post, others were immediately skeptical of the report, perhaps learning their lesson from the huge amount of fake death reports emerging about celebrities over recent months. Some pointed out that the news had not been carried on any major Japanese network, indicating that it was a fake report, as the death of an actor of Takeshi Kaneshiro's stature would be major news across networks. Takeshi Kaneshiro Death Hoax Dismissed Since Actor Is 'Alive And Well' On Thursday (May 09) the actor's reps official confirmed that Takeshi Kaneshiro is not dead. “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He's still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet,” they said. Some fans have expressed anger at the fake report saying it was reckless, distressing and hurtful to fans of the much loved actor. Others say this shows his extreme popularity across the globe.- Gorgeous Guys from the UK and Canada

Superman's Weakness: Henry Cavill Reveals the New Kryptonite in 'Man of Steel' By Meriah Doty May 8, 2013 http://movies.yahoo.com (Photo: Warner Brothers Pictures) We know Henry Cavill is playing Superman a whole new way in the highly anticipated "Man of Steel," but now he is elaborating on Superman's new limitations. We've established his costume is different this time around, the way he flies has changed radically, and the bounds of his superpowers are portrayed differently, too. But if you're expecting his foe General Zod (Michael Shannon) to whip out a stick of kryptonite, think again: Superman's ultimate weakness in "Man of Steel" is (wait for it) his own confusion and sense of isolation. In this origins story that will take place, in part, on Superman's home planet of Krypton, Cavill insists the "human element" is the focus of the Zack Snyder-directed soon-to-be summer action blockbuster. "Growing up being so very different and not knowing why… that would be petrifying and lonely," the 30-year-old leading man told F*** magazine (in their latest issue) of the new iteration of his character. "There's a very real story behind the Superman character," Cavill said, explaining that everyone's goal has been to explore the difficulties his character faces as a result of having multiple identities -- including his birth name, Kal-El, and his alter ego, Clark Kent. "He's alone and there's no one like him," Cavill said of Superman's vulnerabilities in "Man of Steel." "That must be incredibly scary and lonely, not to know who you are or what you are, and trying to find out what makes sense. Where's your baseline? What do you draw from? Where do you draw a limit with the power you have? In itself, that's an incredible weakness." Is Zod going to add psychological warfare to his arsenal against Superman? We'll find out when "Man of Steel" flies into theaters on June 14.- Steven R. McQueen
