  1. Glad you enjoyed the pic, malena!
  2. Thanks for the gorgeous Olga pics, she's my latest new favourite! BTW, love the Olga avatar, Penny...
  3. Gotta love those outdoorsy Kate pics! Hmmm, I wonder if there's an empty hayloft round these here parts? And, yep, Penny, you're right, a cavalcade does indeed sound better! Any of you know about this song which mentions Kate by name? It's performed by an NJ-based Ska band called the Hub City Stompers, the song is called "Mass Appeal" -- and you'll never guess which word they use to rhyme with Kate's surname Click here to see the lyric (Parental advisory, etc...)
  4. Apparently, a cavalcade is already being used for horsemen... Mebbe we could try "a curvaceousness of Kates" instead?? Here's a stunning Ava Gardner type shot from Bruce Malone Photography, appeared in US Vogue a few years ago?:
  5. I am loving this cavalcade! Penny, d'you know where & when this pic was first published? Was it from your fav. Mode cover issue that you posted a while back? K, where & when for this one too? It looks quite recent. Wonder where Kate's ankle tattoo has gone? Darned airbrushing!
  6. Okay, who thinks that a cavalcade should become the official collective noun for Kates? That's three in favour. Motion carried! BTW, thanks for your concern, Penny. The Lad is on UK time... our own version of Daylight Saving doesn't even begin for three more weeks. I have to reveal that I have limited access to the internet... don't own a home computer so I rely on public access terminals at the local library. Unlike in the USA, our libraries are open most days of the year (even Sundays), but they close around 5pm every night. I tend to do all my mailing & posting between 9 & 10.30am GMT.
  7. Funnily enough, I've just this minute received a "Happy 1st Anniversary" e-mail from eBay! And I've just remembered that the most prominent US model in Italian Vogue at the time was... a skinny Carre Otis!
  8. I've just had a look on eBay at a couple of Italian Vogues that I used to own, both dating from 1992, both filled with lovely long-limbed pics of Linda E & Karen M, each magazine now priced at $89.99! Arrrgh! Ah well, if no one ever threw out anything, then everything would be pretty much worthless!
  9. The education of Kate, part 2... I was hoping to post the link to a web page detailing one of Kate's major academic achievements -- it was the site that proved for absolute definite that Kate Dillon The Model is also Kate Dillon The Student In Houston... Annoyingly, the web page (and accompanying photo) disappeared off the web last week. However, the article is still available as a PDF press release, dated August 30th 2006: Click here & sign the agreement... Pretty impressive, eh? If anyone happens to have a spare copy of the 2006 volume of the Southwestern Journal of International Studies, featuring the award-winning "Trade Liberalization and Poverty Reduction: Exploring A Causal Connection" by Kate Dillon, then I'd seriously love to take a look.
  10. Thanks, Penny! It's a bright, mild & sunny Mothering Sunday here in the UK, best wishes to all you mothers out there! (You know who you are!) This afternoon, I'm having a bit of a family gathering (all invited), a combined mother's day & birthday get-together. We could even make it a joint birthday party Hey, if you're tall & red-haired & curvy & gorgeous, and it's your birthday today... Wakey wakey, rise & shine, hope you're having a wonderful time!! XXX
  11. Wow, thanks, I've never seen that pic of Kate before... ...also, Brit model Philippa Allam on the far left... and she's second from right, too!
  12. Glad you all enjoyed the pics. Penny, you're so right that it's awesome Kate is back in school -- more details when I've chased down a link.
  13. Happy birthday Ali!!
  14. Happy birthday Karolina! (Mine too today!)
  15. Happy Birthday to... Karolina Kurkova and Natalia Vodianova and Ali Larter from Heroes and the author Lemony Snicket and... me! Haha, Pisceans Rock!!! According to the web, at least in the UK, the largest concentration of birthdays is at the end of September, early October, i.e. nine months after Christmas & New Year... but from personal experience I know there's also a big bunch around the end of Feb & early March, nine months after the Memorial Day/Spring Bank Holiday weekend! To celebrate, here's the rest of those Marina Rinaldi pics: Pic 1: Smouldering Pic 2: Scorching Pic 3: Incandescent! Enjoy!
  16. Oooh, look what I just found. The img thing won't work on these, but here are links to three of those amazing Marina Rinaldi pics from Spring '07: Hot... Hotter... Hottest!
