Haha. Looks like Kate's ep of ANTM will be aired sometime in April 2008, for the first time ever on "normal" (non-satellite/cable) UK television. I'm hoping I'll get to see it, tho' it might inconveniently coincide with my mum's birthday party. Damn I wish I looked like Jamie Foxx (and could play keyboards like him too)

"The first time ever I saw her, Kate...." It's that Playtex advert from Spring 1997: Pretty sure this is the ad that shot Kate to national fame on billboards across the USA. I wish I could say that I saw it driving thru Times Square and nearly collided with about a hundred yellow cabs... but actually I found it while flipping thru issue 2 of Mode in a shop in the East of England!!

Thanks for the Mode covers ... always slays me to see that Betty Suarez works for a mag of the same name... and her enemy Wilhelmina has the same name as Kate's agency!

Wow! Never seen that Mode cover pic before, my local newsagent stopped selling the mag after issue 3, so I missed all those lovely Kate covers. BTW, anyone know the secret location of the Lane Bryant photographic archives? I'm seriously gonna have to break in & nick the original of this one for my bedroom wall:

Can't think of any other model who'd choose THAT nickname for herself!

Had to join this forum just so I could post on this thread... ...cos Kate is one of the most compassionate & inspirational women on the entire planet! Have you guys seen the recent VisitCalifornia ad campaign on TV? Mebbe it's just us lucky people in the UK who've seen it. I'm 99% certain that Kate is the one who speaks the line, "It's a dirty job," whilst receiving a mud treatment. She's on-screen for a blink, very un-made-up, lotsa freckles, blissfully cute. Meanwhile... check out Vogue's latest UK edition, March 2008, page 146 (or Good Housekeeping UK, March '08, p.31) to see Kate's brand new full-page Marina Rinaldi advert. One of the sultriest Kate pics ever -- legs crossed, hair mussed, and midway between there's a strategically-placed gold pendant that leads the eye to a place where no man is supposed to stare! (Sorry no scans with this post, cos I haven't the equipment -- hope you gals & guy are able to source your own copies...)
