Re: the interview... Kate strikes so many of the right chords for me. That bit about wanting to catch up on her lost teenage years, I can really relate to, dating-wise certainly.

Hi K, lovely to hear from you again Here's the clear-complexioned & bright-eyed pic of Kate Dillon that accompanied the magazine interview: Haha, every August, when I see the new September issue of UK Vogue on the shelves, I keep on thinking: "Well, Kate's done two, three, four years of Marina Rinaldi -- I guess it'll be someone new in the ads this season..." -- but the above interview implies that Kate still has the contract for several years yet. So, we should be guaranteed some brand new Kate pics in about two months' time...

Here's an interesting article, entitled We're here. We're fat. Get used to it, published in last Sunday's Independent newspaper. The article namechecks the new chart-topping UK soul singer Adele, footballer's wife Colleen McLoughlin... and Marina Rinaldi model Kate Dillon -- one of the very few UK newspaper articles that has actually mentioned Kate by name.

Back in the early 1990s, I always used to see Vogue Pelle in the international magazine shop, Oxford News, halfway along Oxford Street in London, just never thought the mag had anything good to offer. Yesterday evening, whilst watching Scrubs, I caught sight of that VisitCalifornia holiday advert for the first time in 6 weeks. Turned up the volume on the TV, and the volume graphic came up on screen... right across Kate's appearance! D'oh! I'll be taking my own short "break" for awhile, as the county library's internet server is going offline for 4 days of "essential updating work."
