Say what you want about Taylor but I think she is actually stunning. If her career as a singer had failed she would havr made it big as a model anyway I do agree with Emma not being sexy tho, she's adorable and super pretty but never found her to be sexy. And Kate Middleton being average, she's just got a great sense of style.

Compromising one thing for the other makes absolutely no sense at all. Swim and V-Day have completely different approaches, and to some people the Valentine's Day shoots are pretty iconic on their own, even more so than Swim (for me particularly the Adriana & Doutzen campaign is way way waaaay better than any swim campaign they ever did), V-Day started being a thing before swim was around, it was a catalog that came out just once a year and with merch that everyone was excited to get for that special date. I do believe cutting swim was big mistake but it certainly doesn't mean VS should stop doing V-Day campaigns, especially when it's one of their biggest money making dates, one thing has literally nothing to do with the other. I do think this year's campaign is mostly trash tho. My girls look great and all but it looks too cutesy and not interesting enough tbh, it feels like something I've seen before.

Yup. She took overin April 2011 so 2012 was her first, and it's been going downhill since then. IMO 2010 was the last really good, after that it was still not bad but the past three years have been just tragic.

This is just such a mess. It really does sadden me to see how bad this magazine has become ever since MJ was promoted this is something i would be very excited about every year but now it has all become a joke.

This is what I was referring to as well. I aint paying $90 for a top or bottom, in VS you were able to get both pieces for those $90 or less and the brands that do offer the same price range VS swim had, have a very shitty quality or are not as nice looking tbh, so for me personally, VS was my go-to brand for swimsuits, especially because I am very lazy with my shopping and by buying VS I always was 100% sure it was going to fit me just fine so i could shop online or just go to the store and not have to try it on.

I have like five swimsuits from them too, the first one i got in 2010 and it still looks pretty damn good and its a white swimsuit which is a hard color to keep looking good. And again, it was one of the few brands that I could mix and match with and still get a perfect fit in top and bottoms. I hope they bring swim back

Im just trying to understand why Elsa always wears the ugliest panties ever for the VS shoots, is it her choice or does VS really think does grandma things look good on anyone? They are just comfortable for periods but so so ugly

I dont think they've signed anyone new except maybe Alexina just yet, but I do believe they are either testing the waters for some girls (Cindy, Roos, Robin, etc) for the near future or they are planning to just scratch the whole Angel concept altogether and just have a big lineup that can please everyone. As far as sales going down, I think VS made two big mistakes: cutting swim and cutting catalogs. IDK about most of clients but for me VS Swim was my go-to option because I have a different size in top & bottom so VS was one of the few brands that would allow me to mix and match however I wanted and still be sure the sizes would fit me just how I needed them to fit, so when they cut swim that gave me one less reason to shop in the stores and I find myself checking their website less often. As for the catalogs, it was always so exciting to get them and check them out! It was a huge part of the whole fantasy to me, I think if they wanted to cut cost they should have decreased the number of catalogs or just keep the big ones like Swim, V-Day, Christmas, etc, not having the catalogs is one less reminder that the brand exists. I do think the models they have chosen recently are a bit at fault tho, this is something i have spoken about with many of my friends/family and it is unappealing to see certain girls who look way too young in the store banners (not naming names because then Ill get the whole you just hate her" shit tho), I rather see someone who looks more grown up and womanly in the stores like Lais selling me that fantasy, the kind of woman that makes you think shit I want to look like that! instead of she could be my little sister. I think the problem is that VS blurred the lines between Mainline and Pink so much that now it all looks pretty much the same and that whole cutesy, bff look is just not selling it for a lot of their costumers Not to say I dont think they are all beautiful women, because they are, is just that some of them dont represent what I used to love about VS at all.

Guurl @toodarnhot i went shopping to Bik Bok today and got two pieces from Elsa's collection, I got the french fries sweater and the colored sweater and they are extra nice and comfy, especially the fabric from the French Fries sweater is so nice and cozy. Also the whole store is doing 50-70% discounts so it was also really cheap I may actually take another trip to the store in Helsinki lol
