  1. That was the issue with Tough Love when they tried to do a rocker/punk aesthetic. It was too clean looking and came out looking girly and meh. I have a lot more hopes for this segment, though I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't super popular as evidenced here. People don't like that genre as much as they claim to, or at the very least they don't understand it and thus wont understand the aesthetic of the segment if they hold true to form. As for the SO, I don't care how much everyone loves Elsa and will put blinders on when it comes to that bedazzled monstrosity of a jacket but I know 6 year old children who can do a better job at half the cost and a third of the time. The colors are damn near to bold for her, but they may have done that because of the lights on the runway, though it'll probably wash her out even further. Oh, and Taylor is at 9.2 million instagram followers! So by everyone's logic..... sooooooooo much deserved this year. But apparently she doesn't deserve anything.
  2. + to many o.0 There's a lot more but I'm not posting them all. If anyone is interested feel free to message me.
  3. I wouldn't be surprised if the bra wasn't meant for Candice or Behati to be perfectly honest. They have similar rib-cage circumference and Behati wasn't dropped from the lineup until about a month ago after coming out she was pregnant. Not sure how much of a difference there is in Candice's boob size, but we all know she did grow quite a bit during the pregnancy/breastfeeding. Big come back from pregnancy. VS loves that shit.
  4. thanks for the scans
  5. Lol you specifically stated filler models and used the term white to describe them. Half the cast is filler models. Lolol. But you had to make it about race. And no the other terms aren’t considered obsolete. Though negroid is definitely using more for anthropology purposes. The part that makes me laugh the hardest is by using your descriptions you are completely removing Latin America and Hispanic people as an overall from the race category and just lumping them in as white. Or are they Asian?
  6. Missing a couple there if you want to go by the broadest definition of the word but sure. So for future notice any time someone describes a woman as black they aren’t being racist they are being descriptive and simply calling them by their race. Or should we use the word negroid? However by discriminating against someone because of the color of their skin (disparaging comments included) you are being racist. But if you feel saying “basic filler white model” is acceptable. Then me saying that I find most of the black women cast just as basic and simply cast so the show can be “diverse” is acceptable too. Right?
  7. Also going back a little bit. I’m not sure why anyone is surprised more Asians weren’t cast. First of all Asia is not their largest buying demographic. Though of course it does have the potential to grow. However look at London and Paris. They didn’t cast an astronomical amount of English or French models. And because I have been asked not to say anything in regards to the racist comments from earlier I won’t other then to acknowledge that they were racist and completely unnecessary.

  9. I am sorry for hijacking this thread, but there's only so much bullshit that I'm willing to listen to. Sara and Taylor haven't done anything wrong and I'm tired of people trotting out the same song and dance to justify not liking them. If you don't like them fine, it's none of our business why but the hypocritical juvenile arguments of their alleged racism need to stop. I'm not even a fan of Sara but I can't stand the double standards, so in this regard I would defend anyone if they were being maligned this way. But again I'm sorry, this conversation didn't really belong in here as it has nothing to do with Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. So going back on track. I can't wait to see who gets the fantasy bra and what they come up with. We've seen good ones and bad ones, it'll be interesting to see what end of the spectrum it ends up on this year.
  10. Because if it was so damn triggering to you it wouldn't matter what color someones skin was it would still be fucking racist. When a black person says nigger does it miraculously have a different meaning? No it doesn't because it's association is still the fucking same. Don't be narrow minded. She was singing along to a fucking song, you know lyrics those things that make up a song? Don't be hypocritical. As for no one using it, I could care less, you're the one that got triggered because someone sang along to the song lyrics. It's a word. It's part of the English language and as such I don't necessarily think we should just ignore it just be aware of what it's associated with and what it represented it and use it appropriately. But I'm not going to be afraid to say it because it's "racist" As for accents I love how it's acceptable for someone to imitate an Australian accent, or a British accent or a southern accent but the minute any accent associated with someone of "color" is used it's racist. Oh that's right, that's because there's no such thing as white culture. I fucking hate social justice warriors who look for reasons to be offended. You seem to fall into that category. The hypocrisy is nauseating.
  11. If you're one of those people that thinks that singing along to a song and singing the lyrics that the artist felt was appropriate to put out there is racist you are part of the problem not the solution. Nigger shouldn't be said by white or black or brown or whatever fucking color you are because of it's racist association. So in this case blame the artist not the people singing along to the inane lyrics. But sure if you want to call that racist because you are a "person of color" go for it, but it's hypocritical at best and well the worst is something I can't say. As for the video chances are you never saw it and are you just jumping on the bandwagon because oh no perceived social injustice is being done. The video wasn't taken down regardless of what one or two people said as I was able to view it for the full 24 hours that snapchat keeps stories up as were about 40 other people I know. The idiot in the video was her boyfriend, but again as a "woman of color" feel free to jump on a bandwagon you don't even understand. The fact that you pulled out that excuse to justify this leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
  12. Singing song lyrics doesn't make you racist. As for the other video if you had actually seen it with regards to Taylor you wouldn't even be bringing it up. But it's funny people can't seem to let it go even when 90% of them have little to no idea as to actual content of the video.
