  1. I was reading the little we can find about Don't look up for Netflix. I got stuck in one of the boxes that said: "That is kind of how it started. But then the pandemic hit. What that did was bring out what the movie is really about, which is how we communicate with each other. We can’t even talk to each other anymore. We can’t even agree. So it’s about climate change, but at its root it’s about what has the internet, what have cellphones, what has the modern world done to the way we communicate.” The article: https://www.google.com/amp/s/collider.com/what-is-dont-look-up-about-adam-mckay-netflix-movie-climate-change/amp/ I haven't seen this before and wonder what they mean by it? Aren't people bad at communicating with or without the internet and cellphones? For anyone that hasn't seen the trailer. 🙃
  2. That was an interesting way to do it.🙂
  3. I am watching Late Night and they mention Leo. He must be the most mentioned person in series or movies that isn't in the production. Only talked about. 🙃 He is literally everywhere. ❤ To my delight.
  4. I don't know if I had a point, to be honest. Maybe he would choose to make a documentary and not a story if he only had 1 million dollars to make it happen. Is a budget of 1 m considered big when you do a documentary? Then it still is a "big-budget" thing he does. Or am I analyzing this way too much?😂
  5. I thought about his documentaries but wouldn't that answer be to dodge the question? 🙃 It would be interesting to know how well his documentaries are doing. But wouldn't that go under passion project you make in hopes that people will watch and not expect money rolling in? P.S Every time I try to be PC.😂
  6. I was thinking of what kind of question I would ask Leo if I ended up interviewing him for any other reason than a specific movie. I would like to know what story he would pick and in what way he would make it work on screen if he only had 1 million dollars to work with. There is no going over budget with this movie. Not that I say he should do one because I enjoy the big-budget way too much but would his answer be: I can do that or that can't be done?
  7. Excellent question I don't have any answer to🙃 According to Wiki it is under 1 million dollars. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Low-budget_film The bigger studios were clear with that they don't do movies that cost that little and that they should be made by an independent studio. For the sake of the art or something. If I understood that correctly. 🙃 I did like the conversation about doing a movie they know no one will watch but doing it for the artsy part. Then they need to bring back the money elsewhere which puts pressure on others to hold up the balance. I think we can put Leo's movies in the category "bringing in the money". Or bankable projects.
  8. I am stuck on the Hollywood reporter and like to listen to people talking about their job. I am on my sixth or seventh roundtable in a few days. (Now I want to listen to the agents or managers talk😂) Alejandro is talking about the Revenant but I think Leo has worked with many of them if not all of them. Everyone is talking about big-budget and finance. I wonder if Leo would ever do a low-budget movie or if he always will make these big productions. Just a thought that has come up when I watch all these Youtube clips and they repeat the same issue in everyone. Does anyone know if any movie of Leos has been low budget? We can rule out Titanic, The Revenant, Gatsby, Once upon a time in Hollywood, Django, Romeo, and Juliet. Probably a few more. That movie he according to rumors doesn't want to be seen doesn't count.🙃
  9. Sorry for too many posts. It got stuck. 🙃

  11. Please watch this🙃 I knew Leo would be mentioned. If they would mention anyone they would mention him. Around 14 min. He then talks about Quentin's pride and joy Once upon a time in Hollywood. ❤ It became a little emotional. And Titanic later in the clip.😂 That movie is bigger than life.
  12. Doesn't surprise me 😂 he has a contract with Haper Collins too if I read that correctly. He is branching out searching for new territories to conquer. More people he can invite to his world of Once upon a time in Hollywood. Good for him. I will read the book when I can. 🙃
  13. At 33:45 about Gangs of New York 😂 "I just want a little sprinkling" 😆 Love this round table with their collective experience about working in the industry. How Netflix rolling into the scene made things shift and change. One day rep from the studios might do something similar.
  14. This was a nice reading.❤ I can see Leo coming on too strong while the woman liking it. It is that Scorpio vibe that makes him irresistible. That and his shirt unbuttoned. Equally 🔥.
  15. Didn't Quentin work on the Once upon a time in Hollywood scripts for twenty years? Plenty of time to incorporate all kinds of characters during without us knowing.😂 Who needs to talk when you sit beside Quentin and his enthusiasm for his own creation? I wonder what he is thinking about🙃 very confident to zoom out in a room full of people with cameras pointing at you. I love this man❤
  16. Quentin's Once upon a time is like an entity of its own that can grow into whatever he chooses. The man has a gift of the grand ideas for sure. Read a few reviews and how large is this man going to make the story?😂 I love it and hoping for a tv series or other amazingly strange event he can come up with. I just want to see how far he can push this. (If the scene is as powerful as they say with the Oscar buzz for the young actress then I hope they make something out of it.)
  17. Leo is best when he has someone like Tom, who couldn't care less, beside him in an interview but he is one of the most interesting people to interview. You can't get almost one hour out of a person talking about something so elegantly as Leo does if he is uninterested in it. He shows his knowledge humbly but you can feel that he wants to talk about it. People can say that he hates this and think that is boring but I disagree. Leo loves his job and is good at it. Interviews included. And also Tom has to have very chill people around him that don't come after him about his attitude in interviews, that or they gave up a long time ago trying to make him be someone he is not.
  18. Oh my God please yes! She is like God's gift to the industry. She and Leo in an interview would be a wish come true for me.🙃 Love her ❤ Have you seen Hope springs? Their body language on the couch.😂 This is one of my favorite movies.
  19. Those two are great together 😂😂😂 The chemistry is undeniable. Leo is so serious, eloquently answering the person doing the intervju and Tom barely listening to the questions. He is at his best when he has someone like that next to him. They looked like they were having fun. ❤
  20. One of my friends said that Leo sounded like everything he said had gone through at least ten people for approval before he said it. If that is true (it is not totally unlikely) he could just cut it down to two trusted people maybe🙃 would make a difference. His PR for Once was painful to watch for me. He says nothing interesting outside the script and looks like he doesn't want to be there. Just my opinion. He is one of the most charismatic people to interview and I hope they make an effort to get that back in him. I watched Notting hill and wondered what question you would ask Leo if you hadn't watch his latest movie and needed to come up with really good ones to write something amazing about him. I am still thinking about it. 😂
  21. I love listening to Alejandro and how he perceives the world we live in. Both real and fiction. It is not easy to steal the spotlight from Leo but Alejandro makes a good attempt. My favorite interview with them both.😂 "I hate trees. Can't stand them."
  22. Fanning was excellent as Squeaky. I can't imagine Lawrence playing it. 🙃
  23. He changed the ending?! But the ending was so perfect in the movie. I don't know how you can top that? 🙄 https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/books/2021/jun/29/once-upon-a-time-in-hollywood-review-tarantinos-debut-novel-shines This journalist didn't like it either so don't know if it was a good move or not. Other than that, cheers to Tarantino and his writing. 😃
  24. I liked the article written by the meteorologist. He has a hidden talent for journalism. It felt like we were part of the whole production when he described it so well. It is hard to believe that it takes two days to create five or ten minutes of magic. He even described that Leo has a fan😂 he uses for the hot days. Which obviously he would be interested in. Love the details.❤
  25. Oh my,😂 I don't know why this made me laugh. People must have been really upset.😂 Go to Marty and Leo if you want to stir people's emotions up.
