I haven't read the book (Killers of the flower moon) but I did read an article with the author of the book. According to him, the descendants of the killers feel so much guilt and shame for what their ancestors did that they still to this day ask for forgiveness. Really sad story. I got the gist of how brutal the killings were from the article.

One thing I didn't think about before "following" Leo was how much a movie can mean to people around the project. That it becomes more than just the movie for some. The presentation of the emotions and not only the entertainment. All of this must mean so much to the people in the town.

Interesting thought about what would happen if you gave a person everything. Never thought about it. Charlie Rose's interviews are always good.

Watched the quick and the dead yesterday and I understand Leo mania more. All article about him when he was younger is a complete love fest and he sounds so sweet. Doesn't matter what he speaks about. He is just sweet anyway. Must have been annoying if he wanted to be serious.🙃 Leo mania years completely passed by me (I was lost in my books) so I would like to read/see all the old stuff.

I can talk about him all day❤ So sweet and creative. Always does his best while being polite and caring. Thinks before he speaks and he wants quality in life. I adore him for his brilliance. How he built up all this from such a young age. I don't know many people intelligent enough to do that. How can you not be amazed? ❤ Love him.

It is amazing how he can step outside for a minute and all this is created. Just for him. Every single picture and word built on his handsome face and talent. Of course, he should protect that. No one else is important. They are there for him. ❤

So the tarot reading wasn't all wrong then. Leo has his back on someone (literally), in his own mind (his phone), meh mind (he looks bored). Sounds fun learning to drive an old car. Hope they find what they are looking for.🙃

The tarot readings sound sometimes like he probably would like his life to be that problematic to make up for the good things. Rich, handsome, and successful. We are all blessed with a certain amount of pain in life that we need to deal with. I like the readings even if they aren't true. I am entertained.

You are usually spot on with your movie suggestions so I will watch. The tarot reading sound like Leo doesn't have enough fun and is too much in his head. Life rarely is that serious. We make it that way but on the other hand who doesn't need to play more? That was a long one.

True. They depicted it good in the movie with the characters that were bored and just wanted anything to happen so they could write about it. How not liking where you are in life can create so much damage for someone else. I loved the mother and son unite. Very sweet and trusting. That was an interesting movie. It is scary to wonder what would have happened if Richard didn't have Watson by his side. Watson says a lot of things I would have happily said to all the dumb people. I didn't know if I should laugh (mostly with Watson and his "she tells me what to do" secretary) or cry over that he finally got his rightful attention for a job well done and they took it away from him. If we take the horrible bombing thing aside of course. Sadly we do have terrorists in this world and the lawinforsment needs to be better at their job.

That's interesting. Nature is surprising us every day. I wonder why it "sings" differently. I like Leo's documentaries. It was one of his documentaries that caught my interest in him in the beginning. Not his movies.
