    Sarah Connor

Sarah Connor Sarah Terenzi (née Lewe; born June 13, 1980), better known as Sarah Connor, is a German singer and songwriter. She debuted in 2001 under the guidance of producers Rob Tyger and Kay Denar and became the first act to ever have four consecutive chart-topping hits on the German Media Control singles chart. Following a major international success with her single "From Sarah with Love," a series of hit records established her position as one of the most successful German pop vocalists to emerge in the early 2000s. Connor's personal life began to gain substantial media attention after her 2005 marriage to American pop-rock musician Marc Terenzi, which resulted in two children, Tyler (born in 2004), and Summer (born in 2006). Early life Connor is the eldest of six siblings born to Michael Lewe, an advertising writer of American descent, and his ex-wife Soraya Lewe-Tacke (née Gray), a former fashion model and homemaker of Scottish and German heritage, in Delmenhorst, Lower Saxony. She has four sisters: Anna Maria, Marisa, Sophia-Luisa, and Valentina; and one brother, Robin. Her maternal half-brothers Mick and Lex were born in 2008. Connor grew up listening to soul music, mostly influenced by her paternal grandfather who was born in New Orleans. A church choir became her first experience in the gospel music field at a very young age. In her teen years Connor tried out and was accepted to a performing arts school. Although all students were required to choose an instrument, Connor was the only one allowed to study voice.[4] She took vocal lessons once a week and worked as a waitress in a hotel to pay for them. In 1997, Connor was picked to sing with the backing choir during the performance of "Heal the World" at Michael Jackson's HIStory concert tour in Bremen, Germany. Overwhelmed by a personal meeting with Jackson at the end of the show, she signed a contract with her first management the following year, that resulted in her pseudonym Sarah Grey and the recording of a number of demo tapes, including cover versions such as "Silent Night" and "This Christmas" and the local radio success "Ula la Ula." In 1999, she provided the leading vocals for producer Michael van Linden's dance remix of the 1982 record "Last Unicorn," which reached number 86 on the German Singles Chart. Unhappy with her management though, Connor teamed up with manager Carlo Vista, who got her signed as Sarah Connor with producer George Glueck's label X-Cell Records a short time after. As a direct consequence, she decided to quit school and leave home at the age of 19. Personal life Connor speaks three languages fluently: English, German, and Spanish. She is a vegetarian and a supporter of PETA.[10] In 1997, Connor started dating singer Martin Scholz, who was a member of the German boy band Touché and thus, shared the same management with her.Their three-year relationship ended in early 2000. Following rumors about affairs with fellow collaborators TQ and Wyclef Jean, Connor met Marc Terenzi, lead singer of American boy band Natural, backstage at Bravo Happy Holidays festival in Rust, Germany on July 27, 2002. In June 2003 the couple became engaged and announced Sarah was pregnant with their first child, Tyler Marc Terenzi, who was born on February 2, 2004 in Orlando, Florida. On February 29, 2004 the couple invited their friends to a dinner supposedly to celebrate the birth of their son. However they announced that they in fact had eloped. The couple renewed their vows this time with a big family wedding on August 18, 2005 in Altafulla, Spain; near Barcelona. The wedding was the subject of their reality show Sarah and Marc in Love. On June 23, 2006 Sarah gave birth to their second child, a girl, named Summer Antonia Soraya. Summer was named after Marc’s mother Antonia and Sarah’s mother Soraya. It was revealed a short time later that Summer had a hole in her heart. Summer had an operation in August 2006, and has been in good health since.

    Lee Pace

Lee Pace Lee Grinner Pace (born March 25, 1979) is an Emmy Award-nominated and two-time Golden Globe-nominated American actor. Pace has been featured in film, stage and television. He is best known for his starring role as Ned in the ABC series Pushing Daisies, as well as his supporting role as Aaron on the series Wonderfalls. life Pace was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma. As a young child, Pace spent several years in Saudi Arabia where his father was in the oil business, and they later moved to Houston, Texas. He temporarily quit high school to act at Houston's Alley Theatre before returning to graduate. During his time at the Alley, he was in productions of The Spider's Web and The Greeks. He attended Klein High School, just outside of Houston, with fellow actor Matthew Bomer. In 1997, Pace was accepted to the Juilliard School's drama division (Group 30). While there, he acted in several plays, including Romeo and Juliet as Romeo, Richard II in the title role and Julius Caesar as Cassius, among others. He graduated with a BFA and was a classmate of actors Anthony Mackie and Tracie Thoms. Career Theater After graduation, Pace starred in several off-Broadway plays including The Credaux Canvas and The Fourth Sister. He also starred in a production of Small Tragedy by Craig Lucas, which is being adapted into a 2007 film (see Small Tragedy). For this role, he was nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Actor. In 2006, Pace starred in the two-character play Guardians by Peter Morris. Guardians earned Pace his second nomination for a Lucille Lortel Award Outstanding Actor. Film roles Pace first gained recognition for his role in the 2003 film Soldier's Girl. Pace played the central role of Calpernia Addams, a transgender woman dating Army soldier Barry Winchell (played by Troy Garity). Winchell was subsequently murdered because of his sexuality and his relationship with Addams. Of the role, Pace said: "Not even my excellent training at Juilliard prepared me for my first movie role, where I played a transsexual who falls in love with a military guy in Soldier's Girl. Here I was, this 6'3" 190-pound lanky kid from Chickasha, Oklahoma, not knowing how to begin being a woman. So I saw documentaries about transsexuals, I lost twenty-five pounds, and I put on prosthetic boobs and hips to become that character. There were times I'd look in the mirror and wonder 'what am I doing to my life here? My dad is going to kill me!' But the reason I went into acting was to be able to play parts as complicated and important as this one. In playing a transsexual, I got the chance to help change people's perspective about other people and that is a powerful thing. I'm playing a swashbuckling bandit in my next film, but I'll always be proud of Soldier's Girl."[1] Pace won a Gotham Award for Breakthrough Actor and was nominated for several other awards, including a Golden Globe, for his work in this film. He starred in the 2008 film Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day and in Tarsem Singh's The Fall, released May 9, 2008. His next film is the movie Possession with Sarah Michelle Gellar. He also had supporting roles in the 2005's The White Countess and the 2006 films Infamous and The Good Shepherd. Television Pace played Aaron Tyler in the acclaimed, short-lived 2004 television series Wonderfalls, which was co-created by Bryan Fuller. Later, Fuller cast Pace in the lead role of Ned in the series Pushing Daisies, which debuted on ABC in October 2007 and returned for its second season on October 1, 2008. Pace has also appeared on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. wikipedia.com
