  1. I can't say that I'm not looking forward to this movie, but this seems like one of the most forced sequels ever. I mean Rocky 6 and Terminator 3 and Live Free or Die Hard are all definitely guilty of the same thing but it's been approximately 20 years since the last one. Now why don't they dust off Ghostbusters? I cringe at the thought of Back to the future 4. And I don't get Shia LeBouf. How does he get these movies? He must be connected.
  2. I seem to have forgot one of these (probably the best one) and (as usual) it's on my other computer upstairs so this is all that I have:
  3. 3. Julia Stegner (2) 4. Inguna Butane (3) 6. Gemma Ward (3) 10. Hana Soukupova (3)
  4. I have no problem with this. Read the book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and then watch Blade Runner. You would be disappointed like I was. I have no problem with LOTR being higher than Blade Runner, but I thought the first movie was a bore. The second one was better. And all this reminds me of Clerks 2. All they ever did in LOTR was walk from one place to another. Well it is the American Film Institute. I don't think foreign films are their domain. I could be wrong. I abhor Saving Private Ryan. It was a decent movie. I don't know what is so special about it. Shawshank Redemption was okay but I'd replace it with the Shining (another Stephen King movie). The movies I would have rather seen on this list. Anything from Costner's pre-Waterworld days. The Untouchables. Field of Dreams. Dances with Wolves. Tombstone. I haven't seen Butch Cassidy While I'm no huge fan of Star Wars, it's hard to say that one movie/story isn't a ripoff of another story. There are obviously influences that Mari Puzzo had when writing Godfather. That being said. I don't think Star Wars made the list for story. I think that it made the list because it revolutionized the special effects industry. Gladiator wasn't really an original movie either but I think that it should have been on the list. There are some "errors". How can Ben Hur be at 100? And where's the Ten Commandments? But everyone has different tastes in movies. I mean Big Momma's House 2 won the box office this year....somehow. It all depends who is a member in the AFI. Spielberg's probably voting all his crap in there. If the AFI is composed of people who have been in the industry then favors are being made to specific directors and so forth.
  5. Thank you and thank you Group hug everyone. Ok, stop hugging me now. I've had enough. Let me go. Whew. Oh, who am I kidding?

Man, nine consecutive hits for the Dodgers in the eighth inning. I hope they have all that out of their system before they come to Tampa.

  13. OK, I went crazy on this. I suppose that one would have been enough. But there are plenty of options here.

Some old Petra wallpapers that I made. I made these whenever this photoshoot came out. Not my best stuff...but it's Petra.
  16. That's probably why Veronica Mars was cancelled. Kristen Bell played the title role.
  17. I sort of captured a swf video from the Zeki Triko website with sound and everything. Yay! But, then I had the great idea to convert the file to an .avi file. Now the file is like 1.2 gigs. So I need to convert it again or something like that. I'm not sure if that will happen within the next few hours. It may be something for tomorrow.
  18. This is mostly off topic. To each their own, but there is more action in an episode of Smallville that SR. And the death of Cyclops pretty much turned me off from X3. Juggernaut was a joke and it was more like Wolverine and the X-Men. Agreed. I agree that they rush them. But the main area that they fail is scriptwriting. I don't necessarily think there is any terrible acting in Elektra and Ghost Rider (and Hulk and Daredevil). Acting is the main area where rushing a movie would show. Ok, Daredevil had bad acting but Ben Affleck can't act period. Yes, to an extent. Joel Schumaker made Tim Burton look like Orson Welles. Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carey, and Uma Thurman are all Academy Award nominated actors (I'm pretty sure but can't confirm cuz I'm lazy). They all know how to act. Arnold on the other hand....
