This is not "models I don't get appeal of" thread Not everyone thinks/thought Linda,Cindy,Naomi,Claudia or Kate were beautiful but they are who they are. Even if one doesn't like Gisele, I don't think anyone can deny her status/impact she has made. One word: PORTFOLIO. (It even trumps the 90s models and girl is only 30.) In 20 years Linda,Cindy,Claudia,Christy,Naomi,Kate,Gisele etc are the ones you will see in the books. (already are in fact,hehe) They are definitely going to be remembered as some of the greatest in their profession. My criteria (among many) to be considered a great model you had to set some sort of standard,wave in modeling. also: (versatility,star-like presence,longevity,can get A list modeling work for many years,a favorite to everyone in fashion,etc...) My rank would be: 1.Linda Evangelista (hair,chameleon,Legend.) 2.Cindy Crawford (most famous,sex symbol model of all time,superstar,mole) 3.Kate Moss (brought in the waif) 4.Naomi Campbell (that walk;legendary) 5.Christy Turlington 6.Gisele Bundchen (brought sexy back) 7.Stephanie Seymour 8.Helena Christensen 9.Claudia Schiffer 10.Tatjana Patitz,Nadja Auermann/Kristen Mcmenamy and I think Daria Werbowy,Natalia Vodianova,Lara Stone,Raquel Zimmerman are some of the greatest models today.
