I love to drink Chimarrão. It’s a typical drink of the region where I was born, the south of Brazil. Interesting how each region around the world has its quirks, right? Eu adoro tomar chimarrão, uma bebida típica da região onde eu nasci, o sul do Brasil. Interessante como cada região do mundo tem suas peculiaridades, né? (Gisele Bundchen facebook)

Gisele Bundchen elevates Espirit Gisele Bundchen has "elevated" the Esprit brand in the US. The Brazilian beauty - who is the highest paid model in the world - recently became the face of the high street store, and its continental president of Esprit North America John Gunn has admitted they wanted her because she appeals to their target market of women from 28 to 34. He told WWD: "Using Erin Wasson and Gisele has really elevated the brand. We were a little disjointed between how the product and marketing looked. We were trying to go after the 28 to 34-year-old woman and show 18 years olds in ads. Our target customer now is a woman who is 'forever 30'." wwd via people.com

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen chats on her phone following her morning workout in Boston, wearing a "Boston Kung Fu Tai Chi" tank. http://www.zimbio.com/pictures/O7kfEczoFGV...Gisele+Bundchen still in Boston. I don't think she's going to Rock & Rio like some presume to make believe. 1. I would have found that info ages ago and posted it here and 2. She's obviously still in Boston. (sorry for the tude today)

Actually girls this list has been longer quantity wise, but quality wise she never falls short. One thing is for sure no one beats her in covers. Covers has always and still is her thang. I am waiting for her to repeat the year 2000 when she had over 100 covers. I think she came close in 2009 with around 90...

I like this quote from Ivan Bart - Vice President of IMG models. "Some people really want to be famous and leave this industry having made a lot of money. That's all management decisions: what does the model want to do, what do we do to make that happen? "And if you get to a point where you represent a Gisele [bundchen] who maximizes her fame, realizes her potential, generates income and makes opportunities in her own country, that's pretty great from a management standpoint. She's doing top editorials, she's walking runways, she's working for a big company and were still figuring out how to maximize her fame. That's basically it. It's IMG - INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT GROUP - We're management." modelresource.com Model agents today are so keen on finding new models and the scouting network has become so sophisticated with technology and travel. Do you think that could ever become detrimental to the careers of models? It is our responsibility as managers to understand who has the biggest potential. There’s a lot of beautiful women out there and it’s up to us to help the customer say, ‘This is the one.’ It comes down to personality, and something I always look for is the X factor — that buzz word which sets a girl apart from others. There’s a lot of turnover and everyone’s asking: ‘Where are all of the supermodels?’ I’ll tell you, the new generation of supermodels are always the models with personality, always the models you want to work with again. Someone like Gisele B

no problem hun Gisele had a great S/S season. F/W has been kind of slow...Hopefully Harper's Bazaar Brazil and a few more things to come before the end of the year is up. but I do love that when she does work; its all generally very very A list. She still gets the best work after all these years.

that was epic ^ Ricki Lake Teams Up with Celeb Moms in 'More Business of Being Born' The mom of two has created a follow-up series to her 2008 documentary about the different methods of childbirth In 2008, Ricki Lake shed light on the topic of giving birth by creating a documentary called The Business of Being Born. The film explored the different methods of childbirth, including midwives, natural birth and epidurals, and got people talking about an important (and often controversial) subject. Now, the engaged mom of two has re-teamed with director Abby Epstein to create a follow-up four-part DVD series, More Business of Being Born. The series features interviews with celebrity moms -- including Alanis Morissette (pictured), Gisele Bundchen, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Melissa Joan Hart and Alyson Hannigan -- about their birthing choices and offers even more information for expectant mothers. Watch a clip from the documentary below! http://www.ivillage.com/see-clip-ricki-lak...born/1-a-381926
