^ Kat what do you mean that its a photoshop disaster or her boobs are small now? Ferragamo is so lovely in the video, but as always the final product gets the over Photoshop treatment. Found another Blackglama ad from 2002 that was new to me. (probably one of her more controversial campaigns ever, and the famous Peta storm at the VSFS). I looked on their website and such icons as Elizabeth Taylor,Barbara Streisand,Sophia Loren,Cher,Diana Ross,Raquel Welch,Judy Garland,Joan Crawford,Janet Jackson,Linda Evangelista,Elle MacPherson,Naomi Campbell,Cindy Crawford etc have represented the brand before. Did they create controversy as well? Probs just Gi.

Gisele Bunchen takes energy action Gisele Bundchen swapped the catwalk for a dirt track as she carried firewood on her head on a recent visit to Kenya to look at the country's energy needs. Gisele Bundchen swapped the catwalk for a dirt track as she carried firewood on her head on a recent visit to Kenya to look at the country's energy needs. The Brazilian helped local women near Kisumu, Kenya's third largest city, carry firewood several miles to their homes to learn first-hand how energy issues affect women and girls worldwide. Each day around 800 million women and girls worldwide can spend up to seven hours searching for their families' fuel and carry loads of up to 90lb (equal to two full suitcases) many miles on their heads. Gisele is in Kenya with UK charity Practical Action, which is providing fuel-efficient stoves that cook food more quickly and use less firewood. The 31-year-old said: "It's unlike anything I've ever seen. Even though I'm from Brazil and we do have a lot of poverty, actually going to people's houses and experiencing (what they go through) is indescribable. "It's heartbreaking and also heart-opening and there's so much I want to do now. I always want to try and put myself in their situation and think what would it be like if I had no access to basic needs of survival. "By volunteering to come to a place like this, where you are vulnerable and exposed to so much that's different from the reality you live, it's amazing." Her tour of Kenya coincided with the United Nations launching the Year of Sustainable Energy For All. Other Practical Action projects visited by Gisele, a UNEP (UN Environment Programme) ambassador who also has her own charitable foundation, included a Pico-hydro power plant on the slopes of Mount Kenya, which has transformed the lives of the local communities' children, who now have light to study. http://celebrity.uk.msn.com/news/gisele-bu...s-energy-action

Home / Meaning of Life / Awakening Life / Birth Around the World January 10, 2012 by Equipe Ubersite To start off 2012 on the right foot, Giseles Blog features a new section that will be particularly pleasing to mothers, and all those interested in health and human development. We are always thinking of bringing new information to our readers, thats why Giseles Blog launches an innovative section: Waking Life, as a part of the project Birth Around the World. The initiative was created by the midwife and neonatal nurse Mayra Calvetti and her husband, the businessman Enrico Ferrari. Since October 2011 they embarked on a special journey. Their goal is to visit 30 countries over nine months and learn about the different birthing methodologies used all over the world in an effort to help promote the humanization of birth. They started by traveling to Europe and have already been in countries where the public health system works and encourages natural childbirth like England, Netherland and Germany. As the journey takes place, every two weeks the reality of each country will be posted here by Mayra with texts, pictures and videos. The dynamic duo will be filming; photographing, conducting one-on-one interviews, collecting data on births, health system, rates of maternal and neonatal mortality and sharing all they have learned with us. Mayra was present at the birth of Giseles son, Benjamin. She is passionate about births and believes that the excessive use of technology and power may interfere adversely with the natural process of birth, increases risk and may even cause long-term complications for both mother and baby. According to the midwife, there are simple ways to improve maternal and newborn health with effective, cost-friendly, and compassionate care. Read below Giseles testimonial about the Birth Around the World: Check out the first video of the project: http://blog.giselebundchen.com.br/en/desta...rto-pelo-mundo/ (Mayra is the woman seen in alot of Gisele's paparazzi pics with her. The press often refers to her as the nanny but she is a nurse/mid wife/friend. Gisele probably trusts Benjamin with her alot.

Oh yeah they reprinted that one alot. American Vogue May 2000 by Steven Meisel. One of my favorites! I made a mistake but I can't delete it: these are actually Vogue (beauty) covers, so they count as supplements. Not a main Vogue cover. http://imageupper.com/i/?S0800010050091V13072764712049716 http://imageupper.com/i/?S0800010050111V13072764712049716
