wow i wonder if shes having twins! never know gisele herself is a twin. i cant really tell from my phone but does anyone know if thats her sister raquel or friend amber clapp?

her website says its for a campaign shooting, i guess an older pic of sky tv. was that campaign released yet? i read on brazilian sites one of the characters would be cleopatra lol.

thanks as always sick! love the fashionista quote from testino. and gisele sounds damn hilarious. i can just imagine her facial expressions when explaining herself. she always said only testino can make her do what she normally wouldnt do. it makes me miss her doing american talk shows. she used to be able to charm ppl with her live self. now ppl only get her interviews which come off as too black and white. she really took a back seat since shes been with tom imo. her last one was live with regis and kelly in 2008. maybe she is over the prying relationship questions those interviewers love to ask but i do miss seeing her. i dont want her to do late night comedy shows anymore but would love to see her do more serious ones like katie courics new show,piers morgan, or oprahs next big chapter.

i looked on her web and i think it means that they just have an exclusive interview by glenda bailey talking about gisele. the part about the two covers was probably just an exerpt of what glenda says. (hope we get a translation!)and gi did indeed have the two covers in 04. or maybe shes talking about her 2002 covers in the red dress. it came with a closeup full body and a back cover with the back of gis head. would love to be wrong though and gi be on more covers haha. those translations can be so confusing. gisele did/does something right to have every major magazine editor,photographer,designer,stylist etc to sing her praises and want to work with her year after year.

finally this shoot! love it. its so gisele. better than her first spread for them. love how her work with terry is never vulgar. good she has limits! lol. she makes simple studio shoots come to life. amazing. and she looks really beautiful. love bombshell gisele more than boho earthmother edgy gisele anyday. it just works.

haha thanks sick. wierd after i said there were new testino quotes,the press posts this one which is old news. mario has been telling this story for ages now..yes he played a big role but so did alexander mcqueen and anna wintour. the quotes i found i think were from fashionista or wwd. he says something like her photos are so perfect when he goes to edit them he finds nothing wrong and he loves shooting her and kate bc of their big personalities or something like that. will try and find when i get back. it may be hard to find since theres so many gisele/testino posts on the net.

thanks jal for the awesome scan. welcome girls. those are the pics that caused the infamous peta storm at the vsfs 2002. also some of my all time photos of hers. shes so sexy without vulgarity or cheapness, yet regal and expensive looking there. i think ppl forget how epic her portfolio is. theres more to her than victorias secret,c&a, and oral b! haha. miss her old work though. i cant comment in candids,(keeps kickin me off ) but yay awesome to see her on a red carpet again! well would of been shocked if she didnt go considering it was in her town and its mario. and hope she made some cover plans with wintour and testino. haha. finally gi in a pic together with her biggest career makers. sick there are 2 new quotes from testino about gisele if u want to post. :ppp

aw want d&g again too. they helped make her career and she had every single campaign from 1998-2003. i think like 10 campaigns in a row. must be some kind of record. it was a fashion match made in heaven. i remember fashion world called gisele fat at her last show for them in 2006 which is absurd bc that is my all time fave year of hers, looks wise. she is one of the few who actually looks prettier when thicker imo. even non gi fans have admitted gi was the last amazing d&g model. and i cant believe they went from steven meisel to giampoulo sgura. u can tell. they went from luxury campaigns to catalog looking budget imo. gisele +meisel is much needed again.

ah forgot to add (even if it probably wont happen) is a shoot with tom and gisele together finally! not tabloid of course but for w mag ala brad and angelina. although a little superstitious about models and their celeb in a photoshoot together since just about every 90s model who posed with her bf/hubby ended up not together. (cindy and richard,stephanie and axl,linda and kyle,christy and christian,christie and billy,heidi and seal. etc) yikes maybe not such a good idea. but i am dying for her to shoot with another iconic model! particularly linda,stephanie,naomi,kate in a campaign or cover together. fashion has gotten so boring to me. the major models only seem to do solo work. in the 90s it was such an epic supermodel movement when they were doing all the shows campaigns and editorials together. really miss that. there used to only be like 20 top models who did everything. now there are hundreds. ok will stop my nostalgia now lol.

indeed she has one unique, all over the place advertising portfolio. lol. but i think shes not just randomly modeling white strips. its more and likely just another contract for her. all her contracts are commercially based. pantene,c&a,sky tv,esprit, etc. thats what pays the big bucks. now her fashion jobs seem random to me. you never know which brand chooses her next. (aside from regulars like versace ) although that came out of no where tbh. she hasnt walked a show since 2001 season or had a campaign since 2008. i was pleasantly surprised. guess being one of donnatellas all time faves doesnt hurt either. i think she even said when she saw the collection the only model she had in mind was gisele. how sweet is that? i swear gisele is part heidi klum (extremely commercial) and part kate moss. (extremely high fashion/well respected). sorry for my rant. im so bored right now lol. wonder what comeback campaign she will get...i think she can be ready by spring to shoot a fall 2013 campaign.

what projects/jobs would you love to see gisele do? still hoping for chanel,gucci,fendi,prada at least once! and i want her to repeat a campaign she had just one time. chloe,louis vuitton,ysl. etc. i think all my editorial/cover needs have been met already lol. although i wouldnt mind seeing her for w magazine again. and get an interview cover. its pretty much the only big cover she doesnt have. a return to the sexy italian runways would be awesome too.

vida indeed has passed on as we suspected, gisele posted on her facebook. but i definitely think it was months ago when we stopped seeing vida in pap pics.she just waited to share the news on world animal day.

thanks sick. i read on boston magazine that #giselegetsunreal trended. the forbes article says some of the celebs have invested in the candy co. i just know one of them is gi. shes such a big investor part of why shes so damn rich. damn shes just gonna be richer and richer.

finally! on models.com it says luigi murenu hand picked the models for the role models issue. soo happy to see gisele,linda, and stephanie picked. 3 of my fav supermodels of all time.

i-d fall is out which is supposedly the icons shoot she did. theres 16 covers. i remember the tweets that day about working with gi from the makeup artist but no mention of what mag. hope we get a cover. i also wonder about the shoot she did with terry richardson in nyc...so we have 2 shoots coming that we know of. speaking of nyc, shes there this weekend she only travels there for work anymore...hmmm-..

thanks so much kat! theres one more set of gi and ben at the park. on giseledaily it seems gi went to a big self help book convention in dc. seems a private event so doubt any pics. i love how she beats to her own drum. parks,seminars,eco events etc..shes so simple. i would dread if she were nothin but one of those red carpet "models". she avoids red carpets and still gets the best work lol.

gisele is mentioned in the new kanye west/jay z song and there are some recent mentions about her from kathy ireland,kendall jenner and sportscaster erin andrews.

beautiful scans thanks jal. rumor is saying kate moss is officially out of david yurman after 8 seasons, for breaking his contract rules. i hope that means gis is the new official face. gisele and kate always seem to swap jobs\be liked by the same brands. lol. thats def her biggest and imo only rival, as far as model work goes. its funny bc i always stopped and stared at yurman ads in awe wishing it was my fave model instead lol. love gi's b&w's and love lindberghs photography.

on giseles forbes profile it says sejaa has been in talks to be acquired by shiseido for over a year. wonder how that is gonna pan out. my guess is, it would bring more attention to her brand but then it woujdnt be 100% hers. hmm.
