I think the ad does exactly what it set out to achieve, provoke controversy and/or create buzz. I mean there are only a few ways the image can be construed, either the girl is going to be violated or she's about to umm, service the men in her company. I personally don't find the ad offensive, just a tad low brow and uncreative. Sex sells. Okay guys, we got it. Anymore tricks up your sleeve cause this one has gotten tiring. One thing I totally agree with every on is the Live Journal "feminist" board. There are so many Feminist issues that these women could be actively involved in that can really affect lives. Yet they choose to get their panties in a bunch about stupid ads.

Did anyone catch Petra's new series A Model Life? I enjoyed it and wanted to know what others thought of it. On initial viewing I thought Beatrice and Lucia were really cute but didn't care for Angelika. But when they did their 1st photo shoot, Angelika was the bomb. She may be a standoffish bitch but she's also a fierce model. I'm so happy to see her career take off. Honestly, I think she should be getting the attention/hype that Chanel Iman is currently garnering.

She's such a lovely girl but I haven't seen her work in quite some time. The last print ad I can remember is the Pepe Jeans. A shame really. I hope she doesn't become one of those "whatever happened to......" models.

Wow. She's such a gorgeous girl. Hopefully she'll pair with an agent/manager who can help her to tone down the trashy porn star look so that she can really take off in Hollywood. Although, the Pontiac shots and the Maxim pics are a definite improvement.

I don't get it. Why is it that so many of you feel its okay to come onto Chanel's thread and slam her? If you don't like her fine, go to the correct forum and vent. I find some of the posters here just plain rude. Butterface?! How obnoxious. There are plenty of models that I shake my head at and wonder why but I give them and their fans the respect they are due and do NOT go to their forums. And for all of you who state that the only reason she's on a cover is because she's black, Newsflash, THAT IS RACIST! That statement says that the color of her skin, not talent, ability or beauty, played into getting her on the cover. Its just like saying a woman got a job, oh because she's a woman. She couldn't possibly be talented, could she? So to the Nemesides on the thread and those who feel as he or she does, why don't you take you venom elsewhere.

All I can say is WOW! Until I saw these two pictures, I thought sure she's a cute kid, she'll go far, eventually. But these pics really show her potential. I wish her the best of luck. I'm really excited about the new crop of young Brazilian models. Emanuela, Thais, and Nataniele, are the Adriana, Ana and Alessandra of the future.
