'Cains tie a franchise record for wins in a season tonight, with a shit-load of season still left to go . . . great game if you missed it, lots of good hits. Speakin of hits, I was watchin highlights from the Ottawa game and, this is great, some dude ripped off another dudes helmet during a big fight and SMAKED the dude with his own helmet on the top of the head, lol, it was AWESOME. I so gotta find that on the 'net.

Don't blame him GOOD game tonight, if you can get it . . . 'Canes vs Rangers, two of the hottest teams with two of the top three leading scorers going head to head. This will be a real test to see how this team does without Cole for the rest of the season, good news that he might be back for the Playoffs tho.

Canes won AGAIN , top of the league. Woo Hoo! It was 5 - 0 at the end of the period, the Pens made it a game in the 2nd, amazingly. 12 goals were scored Anybody heard of DEFENSE? On a bad note, that BITCH of a loser Orpik put Cole into the boards and out for the season, I hope we get Vasicek back soon to replace him. Second year loser defensman on the leagues last place team puts a cheap shot on the second leading scorer on the best team in the NHL . . . . HEADS NEED TO ROLL. Is Ignla still with the Flames? I like him

'Canes beat the Bruins tonight, 4 - 3, which is the third time this season Carolina has won by that margin against Boston.

2 Reasons, for both the U.S. and Canada = Two Oldest teams in the Olympics and European Refs = lots of penalties.

I still think the US had a better team. We were just so undisciplined down the stretch, just when it looked like we had a good offensive shift going, we'd take a penality. It really screwed us up. I am really, really upset at some of the penalty's called in the third against Finland, especially that 4 minute major. It was so clearly a follow through, neither of the NHL refs called it, but the Slovak ref did, its a shit shame he couldn't be overridden. Anyone notice in all the games that everytime somebody falls to the ground crying, the European refs made calls? Not just the US game, but all of them. I think that cost Canada the game against the Swiss, personally.

    Can't say 100%, but I believe so. :x
  21. ouch . . . I have a 3 n 1 from HP too, but its a nice one. It's just a little on the old side. I cant do really good HQ scans without them turning grainy, which is my problem <_<.
  22. That sounds like Resolution, you should lower your resolution. My scanner has a default resolution of 200, which makes my scans come out to like 2000 x 2000, way too big. Lower it to 75 and its a managable 750 - 1000 pixels either. I think the problem with my scanner is that its just old and dirty, I wish I could figure out how to get underneath the scan bed and clean the bottom of it, its got fingerprints and water streaks all over it.
  23. Really!? What kind of settings? Not the place to hold such a conversation, but I posted an example in my thread, can you take a look and see what I should do, I would love to contribute more often, and I supposedly have a good scanner, but I just can't get the darn thing to put out decent lookin pics. Any advice would be much appreciated.
  24. What makes pictures so grainy like that when you scan them? Bad scanning or bad scanner?

Its the prelims people, and that post made both of you look like an ass after today. JR isn't on the team cause he opted out, btw. Thats what I've been told. Otherwise, for sure. and Chelios is an iconic leader of the US Olympic team, Laviolette would have gotten far more backlash for NOT putting him on this team. and Ryan Miller the best American Goalkeeper? not . . . Laviolette put together a strong team, and the only reason they struggled the first game was because they only got a half day of practice in before hand because of travel delays. Now that they have crushed a defensive oriented team in Kaz., today will be the real test. Personally, I think the US is a better team than Canada. As for Canada Marty Gerber laid down the law, representin the Canes. GO CANES!
